After putting my mother to sleep , i went to shower.

Its been a long day ..

After properly scrubbing and deep cleaning myself , i came out of the shower , wore a bath robe and went outside ..

I picked up my cocoa butter body lotion and started to apply it all over my body..

Ahh this smells so good .. i smiled to myself ..

*Clash*

A sudden sound of shattering glass jolted me ..

I looked outside my window but there was no one there ,realising that it might have come from the other side of the house i ran to the room across my room and peeked outside its window .

My hair stood at their very ends at the sight in front of me , A bike stood just beneth and there was a guy dressed in all black , i couldnt make out his face since he was wearing a mask.

Did he just break in our house ? What should i do

"Who are you?" I shouted from above "LEAVE BEFORE I CALL THE POLICE"

My voice made him look up , his hand instantly went in one of his back pocket and he took out something ..

OH GOD WHAT ! He has a knife ..

Horror got the best of me as worst case scenarios started to pour in my mind..

Phone , where is my phone, i need to call the police ..

I quickly ran to my room to get my phone but it was nowhere to be found , where did it go ?

"Are you perhaps looking for this?" Shaken and mustering all the guts I could, I turned around to look at the unknown voice..

He stood just outside my room with my phone is his hand and even though I couldn't see his face , i knew he was smirking at me ..

How did he get here so fast?

Without giving it a second thought, I quickly ran for my room door and started to shut it but he was too strong , he kicked the door open and came for me ..

I screamed as my hair came into his grasp .

"Leave me alone ! What do you want?" Tears dwelled up inside my eyes ..

"Stop you are hurting me ." He pulled my hair even more.

An idea passed my mind as I elbowed him in his stomach making him wince in pain as he let go of my hair .

Next , i got inside my bathroom and locked the door from inside .

What do i do ? What do i do..

I could hear him shouting and kicking the other side of the door .

What to do ? What if he succeeds in breaking the door..

I started to look around for something in the bathroom.

"There." Relief washed over me as i saw a vase on the bathroom window , i had kept it when we shifted here first.

If i could just break it on his head .. I got on the edge of the bath tub , since the window was a bit higher , the edges of the tub were still wet from my shower earlier.

I hope i dont fall .

And as if I couldn't be any more unlucky , i slipped and ended up twisting my ankle ..

"Aghh" I screamed.

I started to get up back on my feet but just then the , the door burst open revealing none other than him .

"No!" I said as i tried to reach the window again , only to be pulled back on the floor again .

"Ahh" He dragged me by my one leg out of the bathroom as I struggled to free my leg..

"You WITCH " he slapped me , the impact was soo hard that it started to sting ...

He dragged me out of the room and then down the stairs "NO what are you doing , let me go!" I cried..

But he continued to drag me down , one by one the sharp edges of stairs hit my head making my head spin , i knew there were gonna be bruises all over my body ..

Last step and boom , i was on the ground floor now as he let go off my leg , a warm liquid trickled down my head and i already knew what it was .

"Tsk" i winced as i touched the newly formed wound on my head.

Should i shout for mom? Noo! He probably doesnt know about her , and i dont want anything to happen to her..

"WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?" I asked with fury ..
