I don't know what happened but I one day just decided to propose to Precious.

I am not even at home when that idea pops up. I am in the middle of an important meeting.

Daddy was in the middle of berating the presenter when I suddenly blurted "I want to propose."

My father slowly turn his head at me and raise his eyebrow.

"Really Grey?! In the middle of a meeting you realize you want to propose?" Daddy said in disbelief.

I even hear one employees said "The CEO can talk?!"

I shrug my shoulders and got up from my seat.

I glare at the presenter and said.

"Revise your whole presentation. An elementary student can make a better powerpoint than you and for fuck sake remove the gifs and clip arts this is not a retreat or a highschool project." After saying that I walk out of the conference room.

I hurriedly went back to my office. I sat on my desk chair and blindly reach for my lunch bag.

I open it and grab the pecan cookie that precious bake.

Daddy saw me munching on my cookies when he entered my office.

"You know that people can think clearly when they are not hungry." I immediately defended my action.

Daddy looked at me amusedly and replied "I did not even say anything."

I narrow my eyes at him. "You don't need to say anything. I know what you're thinking."

Daddy smirks then sit in front of my desk.

"So. You want to propose?"

I nodded at him.

"We need to call the squad then." Daddy said.

"Also Call uncle Blake." I added.

"Why? Are you aware that he doesn't even know how to open a blister pack of medicine properly without letting the tablet fall to the floor?!" Daddy said incredulously.

Daddy roll his eyes in response.

He call several times but no one answered.

"Why did I even bother buy your siblings a fucking phone if no ones gonna use it?"

I shrug my shoulders and replied. "We told you that we don't need a phone but you insist on buying us one. So don't blame us if we don't use it."

Daddy shakes his head and mutter.

"There's no doubt that you are all Ella's child."

"Albert. Are my kids at home? Yes. Tell them to come to the office now. Ok thank you."

"All your siblings are home. Now I'll call Blake."

"Hello dumbass."

"Go to my office."

Daddy smirks and replied.

"I am so sorry to hear that. I'll tell Grey that you can't come to the office now to plan his proposal to Sunshine because you are busy. Don't worry Blake. We understand."

Daddy ends the call.

"He'll be here in less than 30 minutes. I assure you." Daddy said smugly.

A loving father as always. Daddy told Parker to get the blanket and pillow from my private room for Gab to cuddle with.

"You know your brother can not sleep if he doesn't have a pillow to hug while sleeping."

The rest of my sibling sits on the other couch.

Parker hand the blanket and pillow to daddy.

"Here's your pillow Gabriel." Daddy whispered.

Gabriel immediately snuggled on the pillow while Parker help our father place the blanket on Gab.

"Why is he always sleeping late?"

Daddy ask us.

"Gabriel was trying to complete his thesis in a week daddy." Jamison replied.

"Thesis?he's not even in his final year in Columbia right? Or am I wrong?" Daddy ask.

"Nope but Gab was bored. He thought taking Chemistry and IT at the same time was hard but he found it easy. So he requested the dean of both department to let him do his thesis in advance."

"Tsk. At this rate, I would have to finish my senior high plus law school in less than 10 years. It would be embarassing of I fail." Ameera whined.

''Princess don't worry okay? Finish everything at your own pace. Studying is not a competition on who finish first or who has received a lot of awards." Daddy said to Ameera.

"True little sis. I for example, after finishing my degree I plan to study business management so I can help big brother." Jamison shared.

"Will that make me feel better?" Ameera replied sarcastically.

"Of course! It means that we can graduate together! Look, I'll even get my Phd if you are still not finish in law school." Jamison proudly replied

My siblings and I snicker in amusement.

Suddenly, Uncle Blake entered my office. He was accompanied by Brandon and Bryson.

Uncle Blake spread his arms and shouts."Your favorite uncle is here!"

All of us ignores him. His two son even overtakes him to sit on the remaining spaces on the couch.

Uncle Blake pouts then he decided to sit on the floor since there's no space left.

"Since everyone is here. I want to announce that I will propose in two weeks time." I said.

"Psh. Why so late? I thought you will propose the first time you saw her." Brandon said.

"It's not appropriate." I replied.

Uncle Blake snorts."There's nothing wrong in proposing that very same day you met her. Trust me! I know!"

"True, but it's very wrong to wed in civil because you are cheap. The ring was even bought in an online store. Imagine that." Daddy replied.

Uncle Blake gasp. "Cara wants a civil wedding! And her ring was customized how dare you!"

"I don't think so papa. Mama denied that she wants a civil wedding. She said it was what you want."

Bryson said.

"Noo! She does!" Uncle Blake said indignantly.

We laugh in Uncle Blake's misery.

"Let's go back to the topic. Focus everyone." I said.

"So 1st pre-nup. What do you think."

"Why bother with pre-nup. We all know that if Sunshine divorce you, she will get half of your assets and you won't care." Parker said.

"Definitely a Pre-nup. If Sunshine divorces Grey, she will get everything of Grey'a worth. We will still take care of our partner even if we are sadly already separated." Daddy explained.

"So you meant that the meaning of Pre-nup in our family is not to protect our assets and money but to assure our partners that we are willing to give everything to them once we fuck up?" Brandon clarified.

I will plant all the clues inside the mall. I know Sunshine will gravitate to everything that connects to us.

While we are in the middle of our discussion. Gabriel decided to wake up.

"What did I miss?" He sleepily said.

"Gab you'll be the one that Grey will dip into the pool as a punishment because you'll be the mastermind of why we ate Sunshine's cookies." Jamison explained.

Gabriel stare at me for a moment then his expression changed to happiness

"Cool! I'm In! As long as you'll not drown me! I am willing to do it! Oh my gosh. I am so excited. Hey Grey. I make a huge confetti bomb. Like it was so big that you need a truck to transport it. "

"Gabriel." I call him but he still doesn't stop talking.

"Daddy. Do you thinks it would be nice if it is a flower bomb?"

"You'll waste a lot of flowers Gabriel."

Our father replied.

"Oh you're right. Confetti then."

Gabriel excitedly gets up and announce.

"Let's go guys! I need your help to cut all the colorful papers that I will use for the confetti. Let's go to my lab. Come on!"

Gabriel runs out of my office pajamas and all while the rest of our family follows him.

"We can buy that, why do we need to cut it manually." Ameera whined.

Parker pats Ameera's back and replied softly "Because it will show that we are making an effort for Grey's proposal and it will also convey that we are all for it. It is some kind of family bonding. We can talk and laugh with our siblings and uncle Blake's family. Don't you think?"

Ameera stare at Parker for a minute then smiles.

"You're right Parky." Then they both went out of my office, leaving daddy and I staring at their backs amusely.

"Well, that turns out great."

I nodded in agreement.

"So. The ring? What do you plan?"

Daddy asked.

"I want it to shape like a sun. That's what I want."

"Sure. How much is your budget." Daddy teased.

"Don't insult me daddy. You know my budget is unlimited."

"Then goodluck to you son. I will help you if you need anything for your proposal. You know that we already treat Sunshine as our daughter in law the first time that you introduced her to us. Anyway, I will go home now because I miss your mom."

While my father was walking towards the door I call him again.

"What?"

"Can I please have your card?"

Daddy's eyes narrow. "Why?"

"I need to rent the mall and to buy the ring. So I need your card." I explained.

"No." He turns around but stops when I said.

"I thought you said you will help me?"

"I change my mind." Daddy walks out of my office.

"My card only has a half a million." I mutter. I only have one card. If I need more money, I need to go to the bank and that is very incovinient.

Suddenly a black card was thrown my way. I almost did not catch it.

I look up and saw my father smiling at the doorway.

"I'm just joking. Use that, then I'll just deduct everything to your account."

I smiled widely and thank him.

"I love you Greyson." As soon as he said that, he left.
