"Are you ready?"

I look at my father and roll my eyes.

"We should have unleashed Gab and Jamison instead. It will saves us a lot of time." I said.

This time it was my father's turn to roll his eyes.

"Your brothers will not only destroy this house but also the whole neighborhood. Imagine the cost of the after effects. I don't think we can fool the police on that one."

I raise my eyebrow. "As if the government will intervene with your business. Let's be real for a second daddy. What's your body count?"

"Will the hit I ordered included?" Daddy ask.

I shrug my shoulders.

"No. Just the one you personally attend."

I suspect my father whacked at least 50 people at the latest personally. You really don't reach his untouchable status clean. At this point he can create his own mafia.

Thank God he didn't, at that situation Gabriel will really be uncontrolled.

"I'll humor you. Including the one I ordered, maybe tripled or quadrupled of the total you are thinking right now." Daddy said nonchalantly.

I unconciously step back from my very own father.

My father chuckles quietly when he saw me steps back away from him.

"It's killed to be killed Grey. I may not lead a sindicate but it doesn't mean I know of them. They know not to do their near my businesses. It's not like I kill without reason. Trust me most of those people are notorious criminals. I don't kill innocent people but it depends on the outcome of this meeting." Daddy said darkly.

"You mean precious might become an orphan after this meeting." I concluded.

Daddy smiles sinisterly.

"I promised Sunshine that I will avenge her after all."

"Let's go." Daddy finally said.

We went up the stairs leading to the boring old brown colored door of this house.

Daddy knocked twice and we heard a muffled sound to the other side.

The door was opened by an older brown eyed woman with red hair in a bun not as bright as precious, pasty colored complexion, she has that pinch face like a harpy.

She's wearing a yellow blouse partnered with a white long skirt and pearls on her neck and ears.

Her feet was clad in a flat yellow shoes.

She was looking at us in surprise.

"May I help you?"

"Goodmorning. I am James Rosen-Hower. I believe my secretary informed you of my visit."

I am sure uncle Scott was already enjoying his retirement for 6 years already so I don't know who's secretary my father was talking about.

This harpy woman smiled widely. I can see her resemblance to precious now. Their smile was the same.

"Come in! Come in! I indeed recieve the call of your secretary Mr. Rosen-Hower!"

She let us in and I was surprise. The house was bigger than expected. I don't recall precious metioning that her family was well off.

The inside was painted in beige. Furnitures are in white and grey colored.

Flowers everywhere.

"Please sit. My husband will come down in a minute for the mean time I'll serve some refreshments and snacks."

My dad and I sat at one of the sofa facing a wide staircase.

A few moments later [why did I hear the voice over of spongebob in my head while typing this?🤣]

A man wearing a dark blue long sleeves tucked in a black slacks, wearing a formal shoes went down.

He has blonde hair, blue eyes, light skin thick lips and slightly wide nose. He's significantly smaller than me. I guess he's 5'7 or 5'6 tall.

"Mr. Rosen-Hower!" He greets. He shakes both of our hands.

He has a sloppy handshake.

"Please sit down." As soom as he said that. Mrs. McBright came in with a tray of sandwiches, she was followed by a woman carrying another tray holding some juice and glass.

The parents of Sunshine sat in front of us expecting something.

I honestly don't know what my father had planned. I am still clueless that's why I am excited on what will happen in this meeting.

"This is my son, Greyson." My dad started.

"Nice to meet you. I am David McBright and beside me is my wife Sharlene."

"Nice to meet you as well. I heard that you are having problems with your company that's why you want to join "

Oh? He does?

"Yes. I think it is a good move. My company's having a problem with my workers."

Daddy nodded. "Yes. I heard that there are protest everyday in front of your company. Why's that?"

David sigh. "Those lowlifes wants a higher wage. I honestly don't know Why do they need that. It's not like a raise will change their worthless life."

This motherfucker.

I want to smash his face to the coffee table.

"Sure. How many dollars we are talking?"

"50 to 100 dollars each. I'd rather spend that money in other things. Like buying my wife another Birkin. Right?" David smirks at his wife.

Sharlene laughs and nodded. "I agree. I've been eyeing that blue Birkin for a while."

Are they really precious parents? They are so fucking far from precious.

"Enough about business. I heard you have children." Daddy ask.

"Now that you've mentioned it. Yes. I have 2. A daughter and a son."

Daddy nodded. "My son Grey knows your daughter."

David and Sharlene's smiles in delight.

"Emily!" David shouts.

The previous woman appeared.

"Yes sir?"

"Call my children. Now!"

She nodded and run upstairs.

After a moment.

A girl wearing a form fitting black dress stopping above her knees and a boy wearing pants and black button up shirt appeared from the staircase.

They look nothing alike with Sunshine. Her siblings both take from David. It seems Sunshine resembles Sharlene more.

"These are our pride and Joy. My daughter Attorney Sandy McBright and Joshua McBright. He's a certified accountant." David boast.

"Oh my God! You are Greyson Rosen-Hower right?!" Sandy shouts while pointing at me.

She knows me? How unfortunate of me.

She hurriedly seat beside her mother while Joshua sat beside David.

"You know him?" David ask his daughter.

I saw in my peripheral vision daddy leaning back on the sofa and cross his legs. He cross his arms on top of his chest.

I saw him smirks.

Damn it. I need to talk now.

"Papa at school everyone knows him! His family was famous specially him! He got the highest possible grades in Harvard! I heard my professor in law tried to convince him to take up law."

Sandy gush.

That professor obviously failed. Law doesn't interest me and studying was boring. I'd honestly just sleep than study.

David looks at me in awe.

"I heard that his siblings are like him too but they are studying in different university."

"Wow your children are impressive Mr. Rosen-Hower!" David praised.

Daddy shrugged his shoulders. "It's in our genes."

I want to roll my eyes.

"Do you know my daughter Greyson?" Sharlene ask.

"Yes"

Sandy's eyes sparkle in excitement.

"Really!? "

"Not her. Your daughter." I replied.

I honestly would run if in any circumstances I would crosspath with this woman.

The expression of the whole family changes.

They all honestly look harpy now.

"We only have 2 children. " David said.

I raise my eyebrow.

"Oh? you don't recognize the name Sunshine McBright? Bright red hair,blue eyes and porcelain colored skin?"

Silence surrounds us.

I cross my legs and spread my arms on the back of the sofa assuming a comfortable position.

"Let me Jog your memory shall we?Where should I start? She's homeless you know why? because She got kicked out by at a young age because you can't accept her uniqueness. She's small and emanciated from malnutrition but you know what? she's still the most loving and selfless woman you will meet-"

"Stop! That dumb and stupid girl is not my daughter. I was surprise she was still alive! I thought she was already dead because with that kind of brain she will not survive at all. " David exclaimed.

"Call my dumb and stupid one more time, See what will happen."

Sunshine's family gasp.

"Wife?!" They exclaimed.

"Yes. She's my fucking wife. Do you have a problem with that?"

"But she's , how- "

I dare Sandy with my eyes to continue what she was saying. she clamps her mouth shut when she saw my expression.

My father laughs beside me.

" Who would have thought that our family are related through my son and your daughter."

David and Sharlene laughs with dad awkwardly. Daddy's expression Suddenly change. He became serious.

"Listen carefully David. This the plan. Since you are still the father of my daughter- in-law, I will still place your company under my corporation but you will have no any authority at all. For the whole company I will pay you $ 2 million."

David tried to protest but one look from my father he shuts up.

"I have a documents here that denounce you rights of reconnecting with Sunshine unless she initiated it herself. This document also take away your rights to associate yourself with Sunshine. I know your kind David and Sharlene. You will want to get your hands on the hundreds of billions Sunshine got entitled after she got married to my son."

"Hundred of Billions?!" Sandy stammered.

I smirks. Dream on girl.

My father brings out 4 sets of papers, Pen and place it on the coffee table.

"I will not sign this! I demand that I talk to my dear daughter!"

David exclaimed. Sharlene nodded in agreement.

Dear Daughter? The fucking audacity of this man.

"You'll all die first before you can talk to my lovely daughter. Sign that now. If you don't I have other methods to let you sign those and I promise you it will be painful."

Sandy stands up and shouts "You have no right to do these! This is against the law!"

I smirks "Then I dare you to call 911 right now."

Joshua brings out his phone and hands it to his sister. I honestly forgot that Joshua existed.

Sandy dials 911 and even place it on loudspeaker. She was looking at us smugly as if that call will scare us.

" I would like to report a crime. My family was being held hostage."

"Do you know the name of the person who's taking you as a hostage? "

At this point of the conversation my father was just chuckling at his phone. I peek on what he was looking and it was picture of mommy eating.

He saw me looking at his phone and he showed me his phone. "Your mom's such a cutie right?"

I nodded in agreement.

" Yes. Their Surname is Rosen-Hower. They. -"

We audibly heard the Operator dropping the call.

Sandy tried to call again but her call can't connect to the line.

She shouts in frustration.

"You're done?" daddy ask still scrolling through various pictures of mommy in his camera roll.

I push the papers again to their direction while saying. "You are just wasting your time. Even if you sue us nothing will come out of it. You are just gonna waste our time. So if I were you sign that now."

The four of them grudgingly sign the papers.

"Thank you!" I said pleasantly.

I collects the documents and hand it to my father.

"It seems that my business here is done. Nice to meet you all! We can see our way out." Daddy said.

We went out of that house and unexpectedly the helper was running towards us coming from the back of the property.

"Sir! sir!"

We wait for her to catch up to us.

" I heard that you are the husband of Miss Sunshine. I would just want to tell you that family treats her like She's a dirt under their shoes. They never feed her right. I tried to sneak food from time to time to miss Sunshine but they caught and punish me. Miss Sunshine was kept from everyone. They detain her in the basement so no one will see her. I frankly was happy she got kicked out because at least she was free from them."

"Thank you ma'am. Please go to one of my guards and I will offer you a better job. How's that?" My father offered.

She nodded eagerly and wordlessly follows one of the MIB.

While walking back to our car Daddy said. "Well that change everything. They will not receive even a penny from us. The money we offered will be given to the shelter in Sunshine's name."

I nodded in agreement.

"I'll dismantle the whole company and all the employees will be distributed between our and Uncle Blake's company. I can't believe that precious comes from that family."

"I agree with you son."

Once we reach our car we heard again a shout.

"Guys! Wait for me!!!"

We were shock to see Gabriel running towards us.

"What he's doing here?" I ask.

"I have a fucking bad feeling about this." Daddy said.

Gabriel stops in front of us grinning in excitement.

"Let's enter the car because it's "

He hurriedly asher us inside the car.

As soon as we are at the end of the street an explosion was heard.

Daddy and I look at Gabriel suspiciously.

Gabriel looks innocently at us and said. "They are lucky I only targets their cars. I originally wants to blew up the whole house. I was so mad that they treat big sis like that. I should just torture them then maybe I'd be calmer."

Daddy and I sigh.

"Don't worry my dear father, the MIB knows my plan so they know what to do."

While going back to the company.

I don't know how but Gabriel convince my father to play thumb wrestling with him.

"Oh by the way daddy, Jamison texted me and say that I need to warn you because mommy founds out you lied to her about the bakery being close so you are going to sleep outside of the house for a week. "

"WHAT! Damn it!" Daddy shouts in panic.

It seems that we are going home.
