"Can you stop looking up there at him and focus on me!" I grabbed Coltons chin and made him look down at me as we danced. I needed some way to calm him down and distract him.

"Gladly." He smirked making me roll my eyes.

"He's going to get knockout one day."

"You promised that you wouldn't hurt him."

He pulled me closer making him lean his face closer to my ear.

"I lied."

"Colton..."

"If he so as looks at you the wrong way that's it."

I rolled my eyes but kept dancing with him to the music.

"He's my friend Colton that's all."

"He doesn't seem to think so."

I jumped up wanting him to shut up for one. I placed my lips on his and was shocked to feel shocks go up my body when I did.

What did I just do? Why did I just do that.

I pulled away from him fast and backed up a little.

He went to reach for me but I moved back fast.

"Excuse me." I said as I took off running for the stairs. I ran my way all the way back up to the house. I needed to find somewhere to be alone and clear my head a little.

I was starting to have feelings for this man and it wasn't supposed to be that way. I needed to hate him and for this to be over with.

As I was walking down the hall I was grabbed and pulled into a dark room.

When I went to scream a hand was put over my mouth.

"Please Ruby Just hear me out."

"ERIC! Let go of me!" I hissed trying to get his arms away from me but he had me pinned up against the wall.

"I was drunk when I sent that message to you." That made me stop.

"You were." I was a little but relieved but also kinda hurt.

"Yes but damn Ruby I meant it." No this wasn't happening

"Eric I-"

"I need you so much Ruby. I wanted things with us to work out. I know you did to why are you trying to fight it."

"I'm married!"

"Like you actually love that guy."

I don't know if I did but it still didn't make it right. I wasn't that kind of girl to cheat on someone.

"Eric I'm sorry." I tried to reach for the door but he grabbed my face kissing me hard. I could taste the alcohol on his breath and that made me 10 times sicker.

I slapped him quickly as tears started falling from my eyes.

"LET ME OUT!"

"Ruby!" He hissed as I banged on his chest.

"I want to get out!"

The door was ripped open and I saw a man my savior look in. I rushed out past him with Eric not to far behind.

"Leave me alone." I cried trying to get as far away as possible from him.

"I love you Ruby!" My eyes came Into contact with Colton as Eric just confessed that to me.

"Eric you need to go." I said as I watched a pissed off Colton make his way to us.

"What did you just say to my wife?" Colton hissed making big strides to us.

"You heard me! I've loved her for years and you come in being the controlling little pice of shit you are!"

I tried to stay in between them but Colton pushed me to the side as he grabbed for Eric.

He grabbed his shirt and punched him right in the mouth.

"COLTON!"

Colton grabbed him from the ground and punched him again but this time Eric was ready. He pulled Colton down with him and got on top of him landing a few punches to him.

Now people had started to gather like this was the greatest thing to happen at this party.

"you guys stop!" I cried and I rushed to grab Eric. As I did he brought his hand back backhanding me in the face really hard.

I stepped back a little holding my cheek making both boys look to me.

Eric looked as if he had shot his mother and Colton looked like he was going to bring hell to Eric.

"R-Ruby I'm-" before he could even finish his sentence Colton kicked him in the side pushing him over his head making him land on his back.

Colton got up and grabbed him by his Collar and pushed him into the wall punching him over and over again.

"COLTON STOP!" I

"COLTON STOP!" I screamed as Kegan ran pass me with my dad. Kegan grabbed Colton and pulled him away from Eric while my dad held on to Erica lifeless body.

I turned to my side to see Ash standing there in shock. I didn't know how long she was there for but I wanted to reach out to hug her.

Before I could Colton grabbed me pulling me off with him and my brother.

"You two should probably go." Kegan said pushing us to the doors.

"Ash and Eric's father is here and once he sees what happened to his son he's not going to be to happy."

"Kegan please check on Ashley for me." I hiccuped as I was being ushered out of my house.

"I will I promise dash." I smiled a small smile with his nickname.

"Ruby!" I turned to see Weston running to us. I picked him up hugging his little body tight.

"Why are you leaving."

"I got to go little man."

"Your hurt." He brought his little hand up to my cheek that must have had a bruise on it now.

"I'll be fine I promise."

"I'm going to miss you." He said softly killing me even more.

"I'm going to miss you to little man. Now you be a good boy for mommy and daddy. Make sure you don't get Kegan into a lot of trouble." I laughed passing him back to Kegan.

We walked out the doors and I watched as they were closed on us.

Turning around I watched Colton taking off down to our car. I rushed after him.

"Your really unbelievable you know that!" I shouted

"Im not the one hooking up with guys in closets."

He opened the door for me and turned around to face me. Like hell I was getting in the car with him now.

"Get in the damn car Ruby."

"You truly believe I'm just some slut." I said softly seeing where this was going.

"You think I would cheat on you while I'm married to you. What has broke you so bad that it's turned you into a cold heartless man who can't be loved." I choked out the last part seeing his face go from mad to soft.

"He kissed me and I screamed till a man came to get me out of the closet. He wanted me to cheat on you but for your information I'm not that low." I stepped closer to him as the tears ran down my face.

"You can think of me as what ever you want Colton. I'm done trying to love a monster." I spit before I slumped into the car.

He stood there for a few seconds before he closed the door for me. He got in on his side starting up the car before slowly pulling out of the parking lot for the very silent car ride home.
