《The Mafia's Weakness》Boys will be boys

Just the thought of that made me shiver. This man really had waited this long to have me.
He moved closer to me so close that I could feel his breath fan over my face.
I looked down to his lips and then back up to his eyes that got ten times darker when I did that.
Before any of us could make a move someone clearing their throat made us pull away.
"Boss we have to move. We don't know if these guys can come back or not." Axle said keeping his head down pretending that he didn't see what was going on.
"I want to see my parents. They need to know something happened." I said making Colton look back to me.
"No we can't. No one can know what happened tonight but us. We can go see your family and mine but we have to distance ourselves. We don't know if another attack can happen."
I would be distanced from my family! How did he expect me to do that. I wanted to see Weston and Kegan and be a kid once more. I wanted to talk to my parents and hold everyone one last time.
And what about Eric and Ash. I haven't even asked Eric why that text meant and what was going on.
"Just for a little while Ruby." He tried to make me happy about this. How could I be.
"Get our bags." Colton said to Axle while he kept his eyes on me.
I knew why we had to do this and I knew that if another attack happened I didn't want my family anywhere near it.
"Lets go." He pulled me with him and he was back to mean Colton. I swear this man changed moods faster then you could say bipolar.
We had gotten home when the sun was starting to come up. We had no time to rest though because today was Westons birthday party that we were going to miss before this all happened. Sure my parents would like the surprise.

It was a nice day outside so I knew my parents would have his party outside. Walking into the house felt different now. It was home but it wasn't my home anymore.
We walked out to the back door and looked out at the people that were all around. Little kids ran past in bathing suits going right for the pool. Adults stood together talking and drinking.
There was a giant bounce house that I'm sure I'll find myself in once or twice with Weston.
As I went to open the door Colton grabbed me and pulled me back.
"Colton I know don't tell anyone about last night!" I snapped looking up at him.
"I was just going to tell you how beautiful you looked." I felt like an ass now.
"T-thank you." I said softly before turning to get the hell out of here.
I rushed outside and looked all around for someone. I saw Kegan first as he stood at the bar with some friends.
Sneaking up on him I made sure I was fast.
"SURPRISE!" I jumped on his back and wrapped my arms around him.
"Ruby! What the hell are you doing home." He laughed pulling me around so he could hug me.
"You thought I would miss this!" I was supposed to. Colton wanted to have a longer honeymoon which made me very mad that I was missing this.
"Mom and dad see you yet."
"No I'm looking for then actually."
"Down by the pool. Dad was making sure no one drowned." Dad was really a helicopter parent sometimes.
I made my way down to the pool waving to anyone that said hi to me. As I got closer I saw my mother talking to some people as my dad stood next to her watching Weston who was in the pool.
I wrapped my arms around me parents shocking them a little.
"Baby your home!" My mom wrapped her arms around me first.
"What happed with your honeymoon?" My dad asked looking a little confused.

"We're still on it." Colton said as he made his way over to us.
"But Ruby and I wouldn't miss this little guys birthday."
"How sweet!" My mother cried pulling away.
"RUBY!" Weston called as he ran to me with a towel wrapped around his little body.
"Weston!" I picked him up and hugged him close kissing his little cheek.
"Happy birthday!"
"Happy birthday little man." Colton smiled to him handing over the bag with his gift in it.
I put Weston down and he ripped it open to find the new Batman action figure that he wanted.
"THANK YOU!" He wrapped his arms around Colton making a smile go to Coltons face.
"Of course little man." If I didn't know any better I think the grinches heart grew two sizes right then and there.
"Hey first one to the bounce house wins!" I said as I started taking off my shoes.
Weston took off first making us all laugh. I grabbed Coltons hand to come along with me.
"Are you seriously going to get in there?" Colton asked as we made our way over it it.
"Hell yeah I am! Now hold my shoes for me." I handed them over to him and crawled up into the big house of fun.
I stayed in there for a while with Weston till I got really tired and needed a break. I got out and started looking around for Colton but I couldn't find him.
Two arms wrapped around me and I turned to see Ashley making me scream with joy.
"YOU CAME!"
"Of course I did! I love your little brother."
She pulled back fixing my hair for me making me laugh.
"So your honeymoon?"
"Oh we wanted to be here." I smiled hoping she wouldn't see right through me.
"Your not pregnant are you! I'm going to be an aunt!"
"GOD NO!" I cried making her laugh a little.
"What you and sexy god haven't talked about having kids yet?"
"No..." just the thought of that was scary to me.
"Oh no." Ash said looking up. She turned me around and pointed to where she was looking.
Eric and Colton were standing together and let me just say none of them looked happy.
"Oh no." I remembered the text I got from Eric a while ago and I haven't talked to him about it yet. And I knew Colton was still mad about it.
I rushed off to get up there with Ash not to far behind me.
"You sent a text to my wife..."
"Yeah and?" Eric hissed making Colton look way more pissed off.
"Guys!" I got in front of Colton but he wouldn't look down at me.
"Ruby I need to talk to you." Eric rushed out but that wasn't helping.
"Like hell you do!" Colton tried to step closer but I put my hands on his chest keeping him away.
People were starting to watch us now. Great cake and a show what more could you ask for.
"Eric listen this isn't a good time." I leaned my back into Colton showing him I didn't want him going anywhere.
"But I need to talk about us!"
"There is no us with you two!" Colton hissed and this time he reach out for Eric.
"STOP!" They both looked down at me as I had both my hands pushing them each away.
"Do you two see where we are. We are in the middle of a birthday party for my little brother. If you don't mind I would really like to enjoy it!"
That seemed to calm them both down.
Colton wrapped his arm around me and pulled me to go with him as we walked away from Eric. I looked back at him and knew he wasn't going to wait long to tell me what he wanted to.
Right now I was starting to feel like Bella from that vampire movie and I didn't want it.
