The rest of the dinner was small talk here and there but I didn't really want to speak.

When we finished up Colton payed and we made our way back to the car.

"You know I don't like when you kiss me." I huffed as we drove away from the restaurant.

"Really because I do." He smiled keeping his eyes on the road.

"And your mine so I can kiss you when ever I want to."

"You see your wrong! I'm my own person!" I turned to him getting mad for the second time tonight.

"I do what I want hangout with who I want!"

"Oh this is about your boyfriend isn't it? Well he's fine now that he got the message."

"YOUR SICK!" At a stop light he turned to me and smiled "your cute when you get mad."

"I swear if you hurt hi-"

"You'll what?"

"God your so difficult!"

"And you think your any better?"

I laughed "oh I forgot you think I'm a whore! Which is rich coming from the biggest man whore I bet there is!"

"WHAT!" He screamed starting the car up when the light went green.

"You heard me! Hell I wouldn't be surprised if your body count was past 100!"

"Shit."

"Yeah see even you know I'm right."

"No! We're being followed."

I turned around to look out the back of the car to see a black car that was behind us but that didn't mean it was following us.

"Your also our of your mind."

A shot rang out going right into the back of the car making us both jump.

"Oh really?"He hissed picking up speed.

Another shot came and this time it went right threw the back wonder into the front really close to my head. I screamed seeing my life flash before my eyes.

"GET DOWN!" Colton pushed me down into the bottom of my seat as he picked up speed again.

He turned fast going down a new road as I started praying that I would come out of this.

I looked up at Coltons face as he concentrated on getting us as far away from these people as he could. In my sick mind he looked kinda hot.

"COLTON!" He turned to look out his window to see a new car and a guy holding a gun to his window.

Colton ducked his head and turned down another road making my body go to the other side of the car.

"Get up!" He hissed and I did as he told me to and covered my head. He opened the glove compartment and pulled out a gun scaring me. He clicked the protection off and pulled my body to his.

"Drive!" He put me in between his legs as he held his body out the widow.

"WHAT!" I screamed putting my hands on the wheel.

His gun started going off as I willed myself to stay straight.

We were going down a dirt path now not to far out of town. This was where most of the new construction was going on and we were coming up on it.

"Um Colton!" He turned back me and looked at what I was seeing. He gripped the wheel turning us so that we went up a ramp. I screamed as the car went in the air. Now in movies this scene would be awesome. In real life it's really scary!

"Get us close to town!" I did as he said and turned the car to the right with out seeing the car to my right.

Colton kept shooting as the car pushed ours. Putting my foot on top of Coltons I pushed him to go faster. Then I bumped the car next to me seeing that it wanted to play bumper cars.

When he was pulling away to come back this time I was ready.

All my years of sneaking out with Kegan to go driving better come in handy right now. Sure I was young but I can remember something.

As he got closer I put the car in reverse and he misses us. I spun out before turning fully around and putting the car in drive.

"HOLY COW!" I laughed as I drove back to town.

"Good to see you know how to drive." Colton laughed pushing me to get back in my seat.

I laughed nodding my head feeling proud of myself.

That didn't last for long. A big blow to the back of our car made us go forward a little and we thought this was over.

Colton turned around to shoot at the car as I turned to see what was coming for us.

"COLTON!" Was the last thing I remembered before the car hit us from the side. I don't really remember what made us end up with the tires on the car up in the air and my body on the roof of the car.

I started to move my body a little but it hurt like hell to do so.

"Baby don't move." I heard a voice but my head hurt like crazy so I didn't move it.

"Red! They came for us."

That voice was Colton. He sounded mad but hurt like me. That forced me to try to roll over on my back. As soon as I got there I regretted it.

"Colton." I called looking up at the bottom of the car.

"I'm here baby." I felt a hand grab mine and I took it. I was scared and in pain. I would take any comfort if I helped.

"No they left. Red she's bleeding from her head and her side." It sounded like his voice cracked when he said that.

"Ok I'm going to get out to make sure they are gone." I felt the hand leave mine and I whimpered not feeling safe anymore.

"I'll be back Ruby I promise." Coltons face came I to view as he looked down on me. His lip was bleeding and his hair was so messy. I couldn't tell if there was anything else wrong with him because my neck wouldn't go that far.

"Ok." I nodded my head but I didn't want him to leave.

"I'm making sure their dead." I turned my head to see where he was pointing. There was another car on its side next to ours. It must have gotten knocked over in the fight.

I nodded my head and let his hand go as he pushed himself to get up. He held his arm to himself as he pained himself doing this.

My eyes closed as I watched him go out the broken window and I tried to keep up on my breathing.

Don't fall asleep Ruby. You need to stay awake.

I felt something grab hold of my leg and my eyes popped open. I was pulled out of the car and fast. I couldn't even let out a scream as the pain zoomed in more.

As soon as I was pulled out I looked up at the sky of the night. There were stars out tonight. They were so bright and beautiful as they danced in the sky.

My eyes came in contact with dark ones that I didn't know at all. A man stood over me with a gun facing me. This was how I died. My mind flashed back to my family and all their faces. Ashley and Eric and all our story's that someone's going to tell at my funeral.

When the shot came I just expected that it hit me but the pain wasn't bad. That was all till this mans eyes got wide and his mouth fell open. I watched as his body fell towards me and I let out a screamed.

Colton grabbed him before he fully fell on me and threw his body to the side.

"I'm right here baby."

He lifted my body up but I couldn't help but cry from all the pain I was feeling right now.

Colton started walking down the road away from the hell in front of us and carried me. I felt him limping as he went on. I wanted to tell him to stop and to just take a rest but I knew he wouldn't.

I looked up at his face and saw all the pain on it. He was trying to mask it right now but it wasn't working. Then I saw bright lights on his face and heard the gravel of tires on the road.

A car door opened and I heard Reds voice. Soon I felt two other arms grab my as they helped Colton carry me. Colton still wouldn't let me go to get the help that he needed.

I looked up to see Axle looking down at me in fear and Red yelling at Colton. But he was t even fazed by her. He kept walking to the car.

Colton let me go to Axle for a few moments as he got into the car. Then I was back in his arms with Red and Axle getting in the front of the car.

"Don't close you're eyes." He said softly as he looked down at me but I couldn't help it. I was tired and I couldn't help but want the pain to stop.

"Sorry." I softly said before my eyes closed completely this time taking me into deep sleep.
