I took a long nap and woke up at 7.30pm, SHIT! I only have twenty minutes to get ready for work.

Rushing out of bed I trip falling, landing on my face.

Ouch.

I shake my head and jump up quickly getting dressed and putting some make up on. I quickly but carefully run out the house and walk my ass to work.

Fuck! I'm late.

Hopefully I won't get in trouble but then again I've not been late a single time since working here, so i might just get away with it.

I walk in breathing heavily as if I've just came out of a boxing fight.

I walk up to the bar to see Trey casually wiping the counter "uh-um- wh-where's our- boss," I say breathlessly.

I feel a tap on my shoulder, I slowly turn around and sheepishly smile at my boss.

"Hiii," I say smiling yet slightly scared.

"Your late," he says while his eyes pierce through mine making me feel uneasy.

"I'm sorrrry," I say dropping my head in shame.

"I'll deal with you later, just get to work," he says gruffly.

I nod my head still looking down at my shoes. He walks away and I lift my head back up looking around.

I realise that Gabriel isn't here, I wonder where he is?

I walk around behind the bar to clean some glasses to have ready for customers, Trey beside me is filling up a glass of beer for a girl who's leaning on her hand staring at tray admiring him.

I snicker knowing he doesn't talk or show interest in anyone.

"Um Trey where's Gabriel?" I ask curious.

"Probably late like you," he says focused on filling the glass perfectly.

What a cheeky prick!

I mimicked what he said making faces at him, god he annoys me.

The girl waiting for her beer snarls at me and looks at me with disgust. She probably caught making faces behind Trey's back.

But like, as if I give a fuck.

Trey hands the girl her beer she smiles at him and batts her eyes at him.

"Thank you," she says in such a fake sweet voice. I cringe hearing it but try to mind my own business.

She passes her phone to Trey "can I have your number?" She asks.

Wow she's BOLD I could never.

She sticks her chest out to catch Trey's attention but he's looking anywhere else but there.

"No thanks," Trey says slightly annoyed and grabs a cloth to clean the counter.

"Please," she begs.

Trey turns his back to her and starts sorting the glasses out.

The girl huffs and shoots me daggers, like what did I do to her?

This girls not just annoying Trey she getting on my nerves too, I stick my tongue out at her and make faces. She looks at me angrily and flips her hair and struts away.

What a brat am I right?

I turn around only to see Trey.....and Gabriel standing there staring at me.

Wait did they see me doing that?

Oh my god how embarrassing. "Whaaaat......" I say embarrassed.

"Nothing" they both say in unison and shrug they're shoulders.

I gulp, trying to retrieve my pride.

"So Gabriel where we're you?" I ask trying to change the situation.

"Late cause of family stuff," he says.

"Oh," I say nodding my head.

Our boss walks overs to us, am I in trouble? we'll he did say he would deal with me later.

"Scarlett," he calls, gosh I am in trouble aren't I.

"Yes," I say.

"Can you serve drinks to those guys over there," he says pointing to a group of men.

I look over there, usually I don't serve drinks I mostly stay behind the bar with Trey and Gabriel.

"But I'm not a waitress," I say quite confused.

"That's okay," our boss says.

"I-I don't know," I say.

"Look these guys are wanting to pay ten thousand for you to serve them some drinks and to just sit and hang with them. Also I'll give three thousand in cash tonight at the end of your shift, what do think?" He says.

I do kinda need the money.

"Um...okay, I guess," I say nervously.

Do I really have to do this? Why me?
