"Damon stop," I say breathlessly.

"Stop Damon," I cry.

Tears streaming from my eyes didn't help at all.

I feel helpless.

Slowly losing conciseness my eyes go heavy and start to close, the pressure on my neck disappears as I hear the door opening and slamming shut.

I crawl into the shower laying there in pain for quite a while.

Stepping out the shower and over to the mirror to look at my reflection.

Damn I'm pretty busted up.

I thought I looked cute tonight and now look at me, large bruises sit one side of my face and my bottom lip gashed deeply as blood still drips from it.

The bathroom door opens and in walks Derek, instantly terrified thinking he too will beat me.

He looks down at me narrowing his eyes.

I try to rush past him but he grabs my waist instantly making me gasp from the pain where Damon had just punched me, and spins me around to face him.

My body shaking from terror I drop my head low not wanting to make eye contact with him.

He lifts my chin up with his index finger and closely examines my face.

He sighs.

Does he already know who did this to me?

He tucks away a strand of hair that hangs over my face, behind my ear "you know what you have to do," he says.

What does he mean?

Does he want me to just break up with Adam so these beatings will stop?

Maybe I should. I can't keep dealing with this and also what's the point if I can never hang out with Adam.

Maybe it's for the best.

I place my hand over his and removes it from my face not wanting him touching me as he too would probably beat the shit out of me if I didn't already look like this.

I turn away from him and walk out the bathroom.

Well now I need to figure out an excuse to break up with Adam.

Coming up with a plan I walk over to a girl standing alone holding a beer.

"Hi, do you mind helping me with something?" I ask politely.

"With what?" She says.

"Um, to break up with my boyfriend."

She smirks "Sure."

Great, so now I have to explain the plan to her.

"Also if you need to, you can get a bit violent," I say, cause I'm pretty sure he would be curious to who gave me these bruises.

We make our way downstairs as I'm sure that's where he is.

And the plan begins.

"Bitch! He don't love you," Sarah shouts catching everyone's attention.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"While He was seeing you he slept with me," she says.

God I'm so scared, I feel so bad doing this to him.

"Bitch please! Look at the state of you why the fuck would he sleep with you!" I shout.

"Bitch What!," she screams and punches me in the face.

I Scream in pain.

Her punch wasn't powerful just the fact that she punched where I'm already fucking bruised.

Adam jumped in right away just as I thought he would.

He examines my face worried.

"Are you Okay?" He asks.

"Is it true?" I ignore his concerns.

"Is what true?" He asks completely confused.

"You cheated on me?"

"What! No, why would I cheat on you," he says.

"Girl, he's cheated on your ass multiple times. Don't believe a single word that come out that guy's mouth," Sarah butts in.

I begin to fake tear up " Why?" I ask.

"I didn't, I don't know what she's talking about," he says getting angered at the assumptions.

I shake my head with tears in my eyes as I step back away from him.

"Baby, you really going to believe her?" He asks.

I look at Sarah then at Adam "we're done Adam," I say strongly.

"What!" He shouts.

"Are you being fucking serious!" He balls his hand up in a fist raising it towards me as he feels the need to punch something.

Everyone is crowded around us watching this drama unroll, just as Adam raised his hand at me Devon was going to step in looking angry but Derek stops him.

Adam storms towards the television and punches it completely cracking the screen into pieces. I flinch from the impact, would he really have hurt me if nobody was here?

He storms past me looking furious as he leaves the house.

As soon as he left everyone went back to eating, drinking and dancing.

Well I guess the plan worked.
