《His Angels》sequel: chapter twenty-two

"Lord have mercy, it's fucking freezing in this house," Kian shouts rubbing his arm over and over again.

"Oh please, it's not even that cold. You're just overdramatic." Kylie hits his arm.

Kylie and Kian have been staying over at our house for the past two days. We all decided to have a Friendsgiving because... uh why not. We didn't have any in the past because Dylan's girlfriend, Chloe was never home and because Jax wasn't here so we decided to have one this year since everybody will be home.

Jax was currently in the kitchen making breakfast for seven people. "Daddyyyyyyy, I'm hungry!" Sol whines in the kitchen.

Jax rolls his eyes, "So? You will wait until I'm finished cooking for all of us."

"You are starving me!" She sticks out her bottom lip out pouting at her father who isn't fazed.

"I am not. Go sit in the living room with your siblings and wait."

"WHY DO YOU NOT WANT ME TO BE HAPPY?" She yells dramatically before stomping into the living room.

Kian, Kylie, and I laugh at the little girl. She walks over to me and hugs me.

"Daddy doesn't want me to be happy." She groans into the side of my thigh.

"Sol," I said sternly. "You know better than to eat before others do. It's not really respectful babe."

"Mom, why do you always do that?" She whines.

I didn't realize how much she whines until now.

"Do what baby?"

She rolls her eyes and pokes my cheek, "Be a mom."

What? I scrunched up my eyebrows, "Because I am one."

She looks at me weirdly before giving me a kiss and running off.

"Your kid is weird." Kian chuckles.

"Well, you are her uncle." I snorted.

He glares at me while I walked into the kitchen. Jax wasn't struggling to make breakfast at all. He looked so calm and focused. He was just wearing his black sweatpants with no shirt.

If only there wasn't anyone here right now.

"Stop staring." He says, not even looking up from the food.

"No." I smiled walking up to him. I wrapped my arm around his torso and laid my head against his bare muscular back. He moves me around so that I'm standing in front of him.

"Are you okay?" He asks putting his hand on my cheek, his thumb caressing my cheekbone.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I asked looking up to his fucking tall ass.

"I was just wondering, you've been a little more touchy recently." He shrugs pushing my head onto his chest.

"Am I normally not touchy?"

"You are, you've just been extra touchy."

"Are you complaining Jaxon?" I asked with my head still on his chest. He had one arm wrapped around my waist while he used the other to cook.

"Absolutely not. I was just wondering."

"Okay." I kissed his chest.

His hand slides further down my back, landing on my ass. He gently squeezes it and I know damn well his face is holding his famous stupid little smirk right now. "Has your ass gotten fatter?"

"HAS IT?" I asked patting my ass.

Those squats must be working or something.

I think it's or something...

"It has." He chuckles shaking his head.

"Do you think the men at work have noticed?" I asked smirking.

"The who? What men?" He asks, with an angry tone.

Ahehe I love messing with him.

"The men that I work with, maybe I should send them a picture." I tried walking away but his grip on my waist tightens.

"The only person who gets to look at your ass is me." He says seriously. His eyes dig into mine as I grinned.

"You sure about that?"

"Brynnley I will take you upstairs and fuck you so hard you'd forget about every other man's existence. The only man you'd remember is me." He slides his hands into my sweatpants grabbing onto both of my butt cheeks.

"I was joking although I wouldn't mind the punishment." I winked. He shakes his head, pulling me into a kiss.

"So this is what you do while the children are starving?" Kian asks interrupting our kiss.

"Don't act like your horny ass wouldn't do the same." Kylie slaps the back of his head. Kian's face slightly reddens making us all laugh.

Kylie and I set up the table while Kian went to go get the kids. Jax distributed the food onto plates putting them on the table.

"Finally, I was waiting for like eight hours." Sol sighs dramatically.

"It was like ten minutes sassy pants," Jax tells her.

"Same thing." She mutters climbing onto her seat.

Journey comes down rubbing her eyes. I let her sleep in today since she was having a hard time sleeping last night from her cold. I took the seat next to her, pulling her to my body. I felt her forehead that wasn't as hot as it was last night.

"Are you feeling better?" I asked her. She nods not saying anything. She leans closer onto my chest, like how she usually would when she was a baby. I picked her up from her seat and put her on my lap.

I don't care how old she is, when she is sick I like to treat her like she's a little baby.

"You have to eat so I could give you some medicine, okay?" She nods again.

I fed her first, making sure she was full first. Her eyes kept fluttering and closing. She would chew and sleep at the same time.

"Do you want me to hold her while you eat?" Jax asks worriedly. I nodded slowly.

He tried to take her out of my hold but she whines. "Mommy." She whines, starting to cry.

Kylie and Kian looked at us with pouts on their lips. I did the same pout to Jax, tears wanting to fall out. Why am I so emotional?

Every time one of my kids is sick, I get so emotional. I don't know why? My excuse is that its because I'm a mom so we'll keep rolling with that.

"It's okay, I'll hold her." I pressed her face closer into my body so her neck doesn't cramp later.

He leans down kissing my head. "You're are superwoman."

Jax goes to help the twins eat... well stop them from fighting so they could eat. Kylie, Kian, Jax, and I were indulged in a conversation about high school. Even though I was talking to them, I paid attention to Journey.

All her features were mainly from Jax, when she was a baby she did look quite like Blair but regardless she was beautiful. Her nose, her eyes, complexion, lips, and just everything about her resembled Jax.

I started getting flashbacks when I first saw her, I know I shouldn't have walked into her room the first night I was tutoring Jax but when it comes to a baby I have no common sense.

This could really be my downfall one day.

She was so tiny, her head was perfectly round, her eyes were glowing and gorgeous, her smile was so bright. I can't believe I got to be the mother of such a wonderful girl. I may not be biologically but blood doesn't make you family, love does.

I'm so thankful for all three of my babies, they grew too fast for my liking.

"Mommy you're crying," Bodhi says when he notices a tear fall onto my cheek. He jumps off the chair running over to hug me, Sol following him.

"Yeah, sorry." I laughed wiping the tears away.

"Are you okay?" Kylie asks, walking over to me.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just happy."

"Are you sure?" Jax asks.

"Mhm." I nodded lightly.

Kylie lets out an 'awe' wrapping her arm around all of us. Soon Kian and Jax follow.

What's the first thing you do when you wake up?

Mine is grabbing my phone and then go pee. Ever since I've been drinking more water, I've been getting up in the middle of the night to pee too and I hate it cuz I hate the dark but it's whatever lmao.
