Aveliene's pov:

Right now I am sitting on a bench in the garden, outside the mansion. There are lots of flowers here mostly, roses and that also my favorite white roses. Vaughn had instructed the gardener to plant them ever since I told him that I like them.

I watch as they tossed their heads with the wind. Their sweet fragrance surrounding me, giving a blissful sensation.

Instantly my phone rang, I picked up and holded near my ear.

"Hello love, I have a great news!" Vaughn said in a happy tone.

"What news it is that made you so much happy?" I asked with curiosity. To which he chuckles, gosh that angelic voice.

"Remember I told you that I was working on a new important project ." He said to which I hummed in response.

"After so much hard work I finally got that deal" He said and instantly I felt a smile touches my lips.

"Congrates, I knew it you can do this", I said sincerely. To which he muttered a thanks.

"Well I need some help from you" He said.

"What help?", I asked.

"Actually the project's designs are kept in my study, and I want you to bring them, I mean I would have asked to my employees but those designs are really very confidential, I can't take a risk. Soooo can you please do me this favour?" He asked and I could feel the seriousness in his voice.

"Yeah sure, I will bring them", I replied.

"Thank you love, I am waiting for you", he said and ended the call. While I took a sigh and stood up.

After taking the folder of the designs. I went downstairs.

"Maam, somone has come to meet you, he is waiting in living room", the maid informed.

"Okay, I am coming", I said as she left. I made my way towards the living room. Wondering who can it be.

I was surprised to see Dimitri sitting on the sofa. He was dressed in a formal suit. I wonder what brings him here? So I approached him.

"Hey Dimitri, what a surprise!" I said with a smile. To which he looked up at me.

"Actually I was passing by and thought that it has been a long time since we last talk so I thought to visit you", he said with a smile.

"You thought right, it has been a pretty long since our last meeting", I said and instantly my phone rang and Vaughn's name flashed on the screen. I excused myself and went outside.

"Hey love, actually I wanted to tell you that I will be in the meeting room so bring me the folder there", Vaughn said.

"Okay, I am on my way", I said and ended the call. I don't want to inform him about Dimitri as I know he doesn't like him. I sighed and went inside. Dimitri was texting on his phone. On feeling my presence he looked up.

"Are you going somewhere?" , Dimitri asked.

"Umm yeah actually I am going to Vaughn's office." I said with an apologetic look.

"Oh, no worries I will see you later then", he said and stood up.

"Don't mind Dimitri but its something important", I said apologetically.

"No its okay, I will not stop you from meeting your dear husband, I will see you later", he said and winked. To which I felt my cheeks heat up.

" I will see you later", I said to Dimitri as he nodded and left.

I then went towards my car while holding the folder in my hands.

I reached Rodriguez's Corporation and went towards the reception.

"Hello, how may I help you, Mrs. Rodriguez?" The lady receptionist asked politely.

"Hi, I came here to meet my husband", I said.

"Sir is in the meeting room, I will show you there", she said and was about to get up when I interrupted.

"No its okay, just tell me the way, I will go myself", I said politely.

After she told me the way. I went straight towards the meeting room. At the entrance of the meeting room, I was met by the only person, who was bound on to make my life a hell.

"What are you doing here? Aveliene" Veronica snapped rudely.

"Can't I come to meet my husband, Veronica ", I replied in the same tone. To which she rolled her eyes annoyedly.

"By the way I came here to give these documents to Vaughn", I said while gesturing towards the folder in my hand. She glanced at them and muttered a 'whatever' before leaving. I then knocked on the door, and went inside after hearing "come in" from him.

Vaughn was sitting on the desk, with a bald man in his late forties sitting opposite to him.

I went near him as both the men's attention was on me now. Vaughn stood up as I handed over the folder to him.

"Thanks for bringing it here", Vaughn whispered in my ear. To which I smiled in response.

"By the way this is my wife Aveliene, and Aveliene this is Mr Smith with whom I am having the deal", he gestured towards the bald man who looked at me with a smile. To which I greeted him politely.

"Aveliene wait for me in my cabin", Vaughn said to which I nodded.

I then took there leave and went towrds his cabin.

After half an hour, Vaughn entered, a smile was plastered on his face.

I went near him as he circled his arms around me.

" How it went?", I asked referring about the deal.

"Well, he liked my designs and we are signing the deal tomorrow officially" he said happily. And we fell into a silence. As he stared at my lips with his intense gaze while I did the same. His hold on me causing so much sensations which I have never felt before.

"Congrates then", I said quickly as our close proximity was making my heart to flutter and as I was about to pull away when he stopped me.

"Well it is okay to be intimate with your husband", he said teasingly and my cheeks heat up. I playfully hit his arm while he chuckles.

"Hey come on, I know you want this too", he said now in a intense tone.

"What I want?", I asked in a low tone and a smirk touches his lips.

"This", he said and smashes his lips on mine. He kisses me softly while I stiffened but then slowly kissed him back. We kissed eachother when a knock interrupted us, but neither of us pulled apart. The door knocked again and I pulled apart while Vaughn groans.

"You should check this, maybe it's important", I said still panting.

"No nothing is important then this", he said and again tried to kiss me when I put my hand on his chest stopping him.

"No", I said sternly and he groans.

"Fine" He said with an irritated expression while I suppressed a smile.

Vaughn talked with that guy about work while I looked outside the glass wall facing the city. After a while I heard the door being closed so I turned around as Vaughn approaches me with mischief.

"So where were we?" He said and was about to capture my lips when I turned my face and his lips landed on my cheeks.

I smiled at him teasingly as he gave me an irritated look.

He tried to kiss me again but I stopped him.

"You are busy right now, I will wait for you at home", I said and quickly went outside before he could argue.

I sat inside my car and ignited the engine, and sped off to home. While the memory of the kiss lingers in my mind.
