Vaughn has left for work before reminding me of the surprise. Although I kept on asking him to where he is taking me but he only smiled and say that its a special place, which further increases my curiosity and excitement.

Currently I am walking on the beach as the water crashes on the shore touching my bare feet, it's voice relaxes me. The wind gently carreses my skin I sighed then sat down, while hugging my knees as I watch the waves touching the seashore. It was late afternoon now, I sighed knowing that I still have to wait till the night to know about the surprise place.

I felt like someone tap my shoulder so I looked behind and saw Jeremy standing there. He gave me a charming smile and sat beside me.

"Hey Jeremy", I said.

"Hey Aveliene, actually I came here to know about you. I mean that day at the restaurant you stormed out looking sad so I just came to check upon you", he said in a concerned tone.

Although everything is finally good between me and Vaughn, I realized that I haven't talked to Jeremy since that day though it was not Jeremy's fault that Natalie is his sister.

"Thanks Jeremy for coming and I am really fine. It was just -" I searched for a reason as I don't want to hurt him by telling what Natalie tried to do.

"-I was feeling tired nothing much, but I am fine now", I said to which he slowly nodded.

"Good to know that", he said and gently smiled.

We sat there in silence while watching the sun slowly setting. It was getting cold so we stood up.

"So will you come inside?", I asked while gesturing towards the house.

"No, its fine, I don't want to cause you and Vaughn any problem", he said hesitantly. He is still intimidated with Vaughn.

"Come on Jeremy, you are my friend so there isn't any problem", I insisted to which he hesitantly nodded.

"Fine, if you are insisting", he said and I smiled. We than went inside the living room while Jeremy looked around.

"You really have a nice house Aveliene", he said while admiring as we reached the living room.

"Wait here I will bring you some juice", I said and went inside the kitchen. I quickly poured the juice in the glass and made my way towards the living room.

Jeremy was looking outside through the French glass walls as the stars began to twinkle in the sky.

I passed him the juice to which he muttered a "Thank you", we then stood there silently.

"Well I am returning next weekend, back to Seattle." He said while looking at me. To which I nodded didn't know what to say.

"Thanks for your company Aveliene I really enjoyed here. I don't know how would I have spended the vacation here if you weren't there", he said with a smile.

"It was a pleasure to spend time with you too Jeremy. I also enjoyed alot", I said with a sincere smile.

He then told me about his college life in seattle as time flew. We talked and laughed till I heard the door being opened. Our laughter stopped as we both turned and saw Vaughn. He gave me a smile but it faded as soon as he saw Jeremy beside me.

"Hey Vaughn", Jeremy said with a smile and extended his hand for him to shake. Vaughn folded his arms on his chest.

"Hi", he said arrogantly. Jeremy nervously took his hand back. Vaughn then turned to me and smiled and slid his arm around my waist while I was still startled by his different act.

Jeremy shifted uncomfortably on his feet.

"Well I will see you later, Aveliene. It was nice spending time with you", he said and gave me a small smile.

Before I could reply, Vaughn spoke-"Bye", he said still in an arrogant tone.

Jeremy looked intimidated by him as he slowly left the house.

I turned towards Vaughn and glared at him.

"What was that?", I asked.

"I don't know what you are saying?", he said and shrugged although I know that he knows what I am saying. Before I could say more he cut me off.

"Get ready, its time for surprise", he said and immediately my excitement came back.

I rushed upto the closet and changed into ripped jeans and stylish black top.

I put on some lip gloss and left my hairs wavy.

I walked outside and saw Vaughn already dressed up in a dark jeans and white shirt, looking as handsome as ever.

We then went towards his black Mercedes. He opened the door for me and I thanked him before sitting.

"Now tell me where are we going?", I asked with curiosity.

"This is for me to know and you to find out", he said and smirked while I pouted my lips.

We then drove in silence although my inside was filled with excitement.

After sometime, the car came to a stop. I looked around and saw trees and darkness around us. I looked at Vaughn with confusion.

"What are we doing here?", I asked to which he turned towards me and smirked.

"Wait and watch", he said and looked at his watch while I gave him a confused expression, before I could ask further he surprisingly opens the roof of his car, so that there's nothing above us but the magical night sky.

He then whispers to me-"Lay back", while adjusting his seat so that he can lie comfortably on his back.

I do the same to my seat, and now I am lying on my back, staring at the starry sky.

The cool night breeze gently blows against my soft skin. I take a deep breath. It feels so calming.

I watch the sky above us which lack the moon tonight, just filled with darkness and stars. I closed my eyes feeling the soothing feeling.

"You like star gazing, don't you?", Vaughn asked softly to which I nodded still having my eyes closed. "Then I am sure you will love this more.", he says and I opened my eyes and looked at him not understanding his statement, he pointed towards the sky and as I looked up ,my eyes widen with admiration as there above me is a live meteor shower.

The glowing streaks appears in the dark night sky illuminating it. The constantly falling shooting stars looks like fire balls in this midnight sky. As if the sky was breaking apart.

A soft smile touches my lips.

My eyes twinkled with fascination at seeing this celestial natural event. I feel like I can watch this view forever.

All my stress and problems seem to dissappear into thin air. Its magnificent.

A comfortable silence falls between me and Vaughn.

"Its so beautiful", I whispered with admiration and awe.

"Yeah, it is but not more beautiful than you", I turn to him and saw him staring at me, my breath got stuck in my throat.

He then slowly turned and looked up at the sky. As I did the same while trying to calm my rapid heartbeat. But I suddenly felt him touch my hand with his gentle fingers and slowly intertwining mine with his. A gasp escape my lips.

"I wonder how but somehow there was this foreign feeling slowly building inside me. A strong emotion which become undeniable for me. I didn't realized it until, until now." He said and slowly turned towards me as his sparkling oceanic orbs got locked up with my emerald ones making it more difficult for me to breathe.

A soft smile touches his lips and as he spoke the next words I felt like the time got paused.

"I love you, Aveliene", he said and listening to it ,I got frozen. My eyes widen with surprise and awe. His words caught me off guard that I don't know how to react. As finally I heard those three magical words which I was wanting to hear since the beginning.

"I never believed that a person like me could ever fell in love until I met you.

I think destiny can really be unpredictable. It surprises me that how fast my hatred turns into a passionful love. How my thirst for revenge turned into desire for you.", he gave my hand a gentle squeeze as I felt my eyes getting filled with tears but this time due to happiness.

"And just like these falling meteors I too fall for you. " A soft smile touches my lips as he continues.

"When I saw you with Jeremy I felt possesive and even.......jealous as I saw you laughing with him comfortably which was a rare scene when you are around me. And at that time I knew that I have to confess my feelings to you before it becomes too late. So Aveliene Rodriguez will you forgive me and let me love you and show you how much I adore you?", he asked with his twinkling eyes glistening with hope ,I could feel his rapid breathing.

And the next thing I knew I crashed my lips with his in a sweet yet passionful kiss. I could feel him smiling during the kiss which even makes me smile. Although I myself was not confident that I love him or not.

We kept on kissing eachother slowly under the starry sky, savouring every moment . We then gently pulled apart feeling breathless, resting our foreheads on eachther.

"Yes I will give you another chance. As I know it wasn't your fault that you become so cold, its just that life don't always gives us what we want and if we force it then it becomes a chaos. Just like my great grandfather's greed destroyed him", I said sincerely as he nodded in understanding.

We then stepped outside the car. As Vaughn keep holding my hand. We then walked further and I glanced around and found myself right at the edge of a sheer cliff. Below us was the majestic ocean shining under the glow of shooting stars. The water looks black in this midnight sky.

"Do you like the surprise?", Vaughn whispers in my ear. I turned towards him. And met his oceanic orbs which were more deep and blue then this sea.

"I love it, this is the best surprise ever.", I said with happiness and hugged him while he gently hugged me back and put his chin on my head. We both stayed like this while overlooking the magnificent view infront of us. It was midnight, like the blue of the sea cradled by the moonlight.

It was a different kind of intimacy between us which I liked more.

The breeze made my hairs blow with it. I listened to the sound of the waves. I closed my eyes and the air fills my lungs as I breathe it with contentment, realizing that finally my fantasy has come true as I am standing here in the warm embrace of my Prince Charming.
