Aveliene's pov:

Right now I could feel anger building inside me but more than anger I felt hurt. I quickly stepped out of the car and took long thrides towards the house.

Vaughn parked the car and followed me. But I was ahead and didn't stop until I reached our room. I was about to close it when he blocked it by placing his hand. I stepped back and turned, I was not in a mood to talk or even see him.

He entered and closed the door behind him, scrutinizing me.

"It is not what you think it is, Miss Lawrence let me explain", he said trying to sound calm.

I quickly turned and snapped at him,"So now you are trying to say that I am blind.That you and her were not in eachother's arm huh? or", I paused and he raised an eyebrow.

"Or you are angry that I interrupted your kissing moment", I snapped and throw my hands in the air, he steps closer to me. It doesn't look like he is enjoying this either.

"Gosh, Miss Lawrence I didn't kissed her, she was trying to kiss me", he said with frustration. His eyes were telling me that he was stating the truth but how can I deny what I saw.

I shook my head and spoke,"Don't lie to me. I am stating what I saw and it's the truth. Afterall how stupid of me to expect a loyalty from a person like you. Once a player always a player and now you ruined our relationship. " I snapped loudly at him.

"Even though I was against this marrige but still I am loyal to you and for the final time, I didn't kissed her.", he bites out, anger ,hurt and frustration was evident on his face. "Besides I didn't ruin our relationship because it was not even there in the first place. We were nothing like a normal couple but two strangers forced in this marriage. And remember, by marrying you, I not only stole your present but your future too, and if I want I can ruin you ,so keep that in mind before yelling at me "He snapped and continued "And don't act like you are naive" He said and watches me with piercing eyes and for a split second I see hurt in his blue orbs. But it all shatters when he says the next words.

"Yeah,I know you dressed up like this for him,that Jeremy guy" he said while gesturing towards my outfit,"I know you two like eachother so don't pretend to be innocent because You. Are. a. slut." He scoffed and gave me a bitter smirk.

I was beyond shocked, he thinks so low of me.

Did he really thinks that I am a......slut.

His words are so painful like a dagger pass through my core. And what makes me hate him even more is that he always acts like he owns me. Like I am not a human but a possession. He's been dictating my life since the wedding.

Which contradicts his statement that we will not disturb eachother's personal life.

I was very enraged that the next thing I know is landing a hard slap across his face. The sound of it rings in the silent room. Vaughn freezes and I do too. Tears formed in my eyes.

"How dare you accused me of such a low thing. Jeremy and me are just friends because unlike you. I am loyal to my commitment and vows for this marriage because it is sacred and holy. And for your kind information I dressed up like this for you because I wanted to have your attention so that you could see me as a sexy woman and not some little girl. So that we could began our new start. But No. You always thinks bad of me because you are nothing but a Selfish Arrogant Jerk." I snapped harshly afterall his accusation was so infuriating.

My chest tightens- I feel it hard to breathe. My hand shakes as I realize my bold move.

Vaughn snaps his head back towards me, his jaw tighten. Now, I can see clearly the pain and hurt in his eyes that was inexplicit before. And before I know it ,he pushed me towards the wall with force, my back would have hurted if he hasn't put his hand there.

He trapped me between him and the wall. His eyes were red due to anger and hurt as if someone has put the ocean in his eyes on fire.

Let me remind you that an angry Vaughn is someone who you don't want to cross path with.

"Never, I repeat never slap me again. I am warning you for the first and the last time,next time I will not forgive you," He hissed in a deadpanned voice which scared me. He took a deep breath to calm himself and spoke again-

"For your previous statement let me remind you Miss Lawrence that we can never ,never be like the other couples because you have got the Lawrence's blood running through your veins which bounded you to pay the debts. And I have gotten the revenge in inheritance to make sure you pay for your family's sins. "He pauses and continued."And neither me nor you can deny it because Destiny has chosen you for this revenge. You are nothing but a pawn to seek my family's revenge." He said in a stern tone while staring at me with his piercing gaze. Then turned back I could feel his hurt.

"Why can't you just forget it, I mean that what happened in the past was not your fault nor I so why are you punishing your self by doing this. You know that by being cold and heartless, you are not only hurting your parents, me but also you. There is nothing to gain from revenge and hatred. Even the person who forgives gets blessed twice with the rewards granted by angels. Don't make a mistake like Shylock, his hatred and desperation for revenge against Antonio made him lose everything even his own beloved daughter. So please don't make the same mistake. I know we can't change the past but we can began a new start and can do the wrong things right." I explained him by giving an example from Merchant of Venice play, while tears fell from my eyes. I moved closer to him.

"Will you give me and this wedding a chance? Will you let me love and care for you?" I asked as tears keeps falling down.

I touched his shoulder for him to say something but he stayed quiet, I felt disappointed as I said the next words,"Or if you really like Natalie then I am not going to stop you." I said with painful voice and sighed.

I was about to leave the room when suddenly Vaughn pulled me by my arm and as I turned he crashed his tempting lips with mine in a hard kiss. My palms came upto his chest but ,I didn't push him away.

Shock consumes me while he kissed me with so much passion and desire. There was no need for words as I got his answer in this sweet and tempting kiss. I could feel the hurt, pain, desire, frustration his every emotion in this kiss.

It was different from the ones we had shared before as this one is full of passion. Our lips moved in perfect sync. Vaughn tongue demanded for entrance which I gladly gave in and hesitantly touched my tongue to his. I wasn't sure what to do as I looked at him wide eyed but he took the lead. The kiss was becoming more intense as he tasted every inch of my mouth. He keeps kissing me like there was no tomorrow , while intertwining our fingers together. His warm body pressed very tightly against mine but it didn't bother instead made me tingle.

After sometime which seems like eternity, he finally pulls away, we're both breathless. Vaughn stares at me and my heart beats like it is about to explode from my cheat on seeing lust in his beautiful oceanic orbs.

"Although I would love to continue but I will not force you to do something which you are not ready for now." He said softly. I felt a smile tugged at my lips as he kissed the crown of my neck. Vaughn then gently pulled me up in a bridal style and put me on the bed. He was about to go when I hold his wrist. He turned to me.

"Stay with me", I said softly.

He hesitated as if asking for my confirmation. To which I smiled and kissed his knuckles.

We both then laid together in each other's warm embrace on the bed with my face on Vaughn's chest. As I inhaled his sweet masculine cologne.

I looked at the shining full moon through the balcony. As if it was telling us that like it 'we all go through phases of emptiness to feel full again.'
