Aveliene's pov:

Yesterday's date is still fresh in my mind. How we both shared something special with eachother. Those moments where we didn't argued. Just had fun. I still could felt those sparks when his lips touched my fingers. But the only thing which bothers me is that he didn't feel the same for me. And that's why ,

currently I am in my closet searching for an outfit. A sexy one.

Last night I also searched the web to know 'how to seduce' , I my self could not believe what and why I am doing this. Maybe I just wanted this marraige to work and gave Vaughn the love and care he missed. And also to prove him that I am sexy, even more than those models he dated before. My plan became easier for me as Vaughn will be at home today.

I finally changed into a yelllow and white coloured striped romper dress. It hugs my curves perfectly. It is off shoulder showing my neck and shoulder's skin. I styled my hairs in loose curls.

I sat infront of my vanity and put some light foundation, then I put mascara and red lip gloss, which enhanced my features, usually I like to be plain but now I am doing this to prove him that I am attractive.

I looked at myself in the mirror and was satisfied with my work.

Let's see how will you resist Vaughn.

I grabbed my phone and wore my sandals and stepped out and went towards his study. Yeah he also has that here, such a workaholic.

I knocked and went inside after hearing a 'come in' in his deep calm voice. I entered and looked at him. He was sitting in his desk and was looking at some file. He noticed me and then his eyes looked at me and then widen. He looked at me from toe to top. I blushed knowing that he is checking me out.

His stare was making my stomach twist so I cleared my throat. He quickly looked up and met my eyes, he looked flustered. I waited for him to say something but he didn't ,how rude. But I am not going to give up.

"Well I came here to inform you that I am going to the local beach side." With that I was about to leave when his voice stopped me.

"Wait, you can't go." He said and I raised an eyebrow for him to continue.

"I -umm -mean I will also join you. Wait downstairs, I am going to change. Actually I don't have much work." He said as stood up and went towards the door .

"And I can't let another guy see you in this dress", he whispered to himself but I heard it. I fought a smile coming on my lips. Great my plan is working.

I went downstairs. Instantly I heard his footsteps ,I turned and saw him now dressed in a white shirt with Grey shorts and white converse. He looks good in casual. I was busy at staring him that I didn't realize when he stood in front of me until he spoke-" let's go", he said and put on his black shades sunglass which made him more attractive.

Is it legal to be so handsome?

We are currently at a fast food restaurant. Me and Vaughn are sitting together and are watching the sea. As this place is located near it. A huge umbrella is shadowing us from sun. The waiter brought our drinks.

I took a sip from my sunshine mocktail, it instantly gives a cooling sensation in my throat in this hot summer weather. Vaughn took a sip from his blue mocktail while scrolling down his phone. I admired how his chocolate brown hairs looks a little golden in sunlight and how his thick eyelashes protects his blue orbs.

"Hey I didn't thought that we will meet this soon!", a voice said from beside me and I quickly turned and saw Jeremy, he had a huge grin plastered on his face and was wearing a tropical shirt and white shorts. I also saw a girl with brown eyes and brown hairs wearing a short violet dress beside him and was staring at.......Vaughn, who was now looking at Jeremy.

"Aveliene meet my sister, Natalie Carter." He said and gestured towards her. I smiled at her and introduced myself, she gave me a forced smile then again looked back at Vaughn. Is there something wrong?

"By the way Jeremy, meet my husband Vaughn Rodriguez." I said and gestured towards Vaughn.

"Hey I am Jeremy Carter," he said and gave a gentle smile.

"Hi am Vaughn, nice to meet you", Vaughn said in his formal tone and shaked hands with Jeremy.

"You really has a nice name Vaughn", Natalie spoke in a sweet voice while blinking her eyes at him.

"Oh I think we should go now we don't want to disturb you both", Jeremy said.

"Yes"

"No" both Vaughn and me said at same time. I looked at him but he was looking at Jeremy with cold eyes, who was still waiting for our answer. I can't understand his mood swings.

"No, you are not disturbing us, and why don't you join us?" , I said politely.

He hesitated but nodded. Natalie sat beside Vaughn and pulled her seat closer to his. While Jeremy sat beside me.

We ordered our food. And sat in awkward silence until Vaughn broke it.

"When did you both met?" Vaughn asked while gesturing towards me and Jeremy .

"Well we met yesterday at the beach." Jeremy replied and smiled at me.

"Where are you from?", he asked again in his formal business tone.

"We are from Seattle", Jeremy replied I could feel him a little tensed under Vaughn's intimidating personality. Before Vaughn could asked further, our food came. And I was thankful for it.

We eat our food as Jeremy kept talking to me about architecture. While I just listened quietly although I could feel Vaughn's constant gaze on me.

"Why don't you join us for volleyball?", Jeremy asked excitedly.

I looked at Vaughn who was now talking with Natalie and was also smiling. I felt a little.......jealous?

I quickly shook my head. And turned towards Jeremy.

"Yes please join us Vaughn, we will play together." Natalie said in sugary voice and touched Vaughn's arm. I just wanted him to push it but instead he smiled, a thing which he rarely did when I am around and spoke-"Yeah we will join you".

"Great", Jeremy said and smiled at me while I did the same and glanced at Vaughn who again was talking with Natalie.

Is my plan backfiring?
