I stepped inside the mansion. My mind was still wandering about the conversation. I had back then at my parents house.

I was lost in my thoughts that I walked into a wall and was about to fall when a pair of muscular arms held me. Familiar musculine addicting cologne entered my nostrils. I opened my eyes and was met by a pair of blue ones which were looking amused. I realized that it was not a wall but Vaughn's chest that I got hit by.

Gosh so embarrassing. Why I have to be so clumsy.

"Finally you realized that you are clumsy,Miss Lawrence", Vaughn said with amusement.

Did I said that loud.

"Yes you did", he said teasingly. Instantly my cheeks heat up. I straightened myself.

And then looked at him. He was wearing a crisp white shirt with black pants. His hairs were messy. Overall he was looking handsome.

"Take a picture it will last longer." He said and immediately I looked away.

Gosh why he has so much effect on me.

I slowly met his eyes which were still holding amusement. I like this playful Vaughn.

"I met yours and mine parents today. They have told me everything about the past." I didn't realize when these words left my mouth, instantly his face become serious again.

Just great, you ruined the moment Aveliene. My conscience scoffed.

"I can understand your pain, let me take away this suffering from you. By taking revenge, you are hurting yourself. ", I said while trying to make him understand.

"I don't want your sympathy, Miss Lawrence", he said harshly. I could feel the the coldness penetrating through him. He turned away.

"I am not pitying you, I just want to be with you. Forget about the past and move on. Let us become a normal couple." I said and touched his shoulder, he tensed, but quickly shrugged off my hand. And faced me.

"Stop your act ,Miss Lawrence as if you care. By speaking sweetly you can't change that you are the part of the family who has ruined mine. I will make you pay each debt. Then you will understand what suffering is. Afterall You can't expect a mercy from a devil" He said harshly and smirked.

"Yes you are right ,you are a Fallen Angel and don't worry I will not ask for mercy but I will try my best to change you into an Angel, Mr Vaughn Rodriguez." I said with determination.

"You are too optimistic " He scoffed and continued "But don't think that this revenge is going to be sweet,as it is going to be more bitter, Miss Lawrence. I will make sure you suffer. You will pay the debts of revenge and its undeniable and unbreakable. " He warned in deadly tone. I flinched and I think he noticed as he leans and whispers in my ear-

"Never let your enemies see a bit of fear in your eyes because then they crave for more." I shivered as he straightened himself, a smirk tugging at his lips. He really changes his moods fast.

"I am still in with the contract. And I am ready to face anything, I am not weak. You have my words, Mr Vaughn Rodriguez." I tried to sound stern. Tried.

"You look like a damsel in distress. I will enjoy devouring you." He said and gave me a wicked smile. With that he went upstairs and I heard the door slammed.

"We will see", I whispered to myself. And went to my room.

The next morning, I went downstairs even though my last night's conversation was still lingering in my mind.

I wore a faded jeans with a white tank top and and black cardigan and finishes with a white converse. My hairs were styled in a loose bun. I put an eyeliner and then grabbed my phone and went downstairs.

As I was heading down I heard some voices. I walked further into the living room and was greeted with Vaughn's parents.

Vaughn was talking to his dad while Mrs Rodriguez gave me a warm hug.

Has Vaughn called them?

Mrs Rodriguez saw my confused expression and spoke-"Darling we have came here to wish you and Vaughn a happy journey." She said excitedly. Now my confusion increases.

Journey?

"We are going somewhere?" I asked to which her brows furrowed.

"Has Vaughn didn't told you about it?" She asked and I shook my head.

"I think he forgot. Nevermind, So Vaughn and you are going to Fiji." She chirped. My face lighten up. Fiji is one my favorite destination. I haven't went there yet but I have seen many pictures of its exotic beaches and islands. I really wanted to visit it.

"But why we are going there, suddenly?" I asked.

"For your honeymoon darling." Mrs Rodriguez chirped.

There goes my excitement.

My eyes widen, Me and Vaughn alone for honeymoon. That also to Fiji ,one of the most romantic honeymoon destinations. I mean he is intimidating and charming, I can't stand being too close to him. And now we are going for our honeymoon. Gosh someone please tell me why my life is so unpredictable.

I looked at Vaughn who was busy talking with his dad. I can't belive how he agreed to go with me? I mean he hates me and now wants to go on honeymoon. I came out from my trail of thoughts by Mrs Rodriguez voice.

"I am happy that you both are going for this honeymoon. This will gave you plenty of time alone so you can strenghten your relationship. It is really a beautiful time for newly Wed couples to show them how much they love eachother." Mrs Rodriguez said with dreamy eyes. I just nodded although I don't know if Vaughn will ever love me or not.

No I can't lose hope, maybe Mrs Rodriguez is right. I will try my best to win Vaughn's heart.

After that we all had lunch together.

We then escorted Mr and Mrs Rodriguez to their car.

"Hope you both enjoy your trip", Mr Rodriguez said with a smile to me and Vaughn. To which I smiled and Vaughn just nodded without showing any excitement.

Why would he afterall he is going with me. I thought.

"And son don't stress about business and gang. Every thing is going fine. You just enjoy your time with Aveliene." He said to Vaughn to which he glanced at me then looked back and nodded.

Mrs. Rodriguez then engulfed me in a warm hug.

"Have a nice journey." She then pulled back and spoke again.

"I am eagerly waiting to hear the news of my grandchildren, soon" She said excitedly and Mr. Rodriguez laughed. While my eyes widen and my cheeks heat up. Through my peripheral vision I saw that Vaughn is looking at me with a teasing smirk.

Gosh!! I think this honeymoon is going to be full of surprises. I hope happy ones.
