I smash my lips against him in pure passion.
He equally kisses me back, his hands come around my waist pulling me to him as I lift my legs and straddle him.
Our kiss becomes needier as he slides his tongue over my bottom lip.
I open my mouth allowing him entrance, our tongues move together in rhythm.
My hands run up and down his neck pulling him in slightly deeper.
His hands roam my body which sends my skin to fire.
Eventually, we break away allowing me to breathe.
I lean my head against his chest and listen to his heartbeat as I try catching my breath.
My breathing goes back to normal and I look up at Landon with a small smile.
He looks back down at me and a soft smile breaks onto his lips.
And in that moment I knew, I loved him.
*
"I have to ask you something." Landon says suddenly.
We were currently lying down on my bed as I slowly was starting to drift off to sleep.
"Yes?" I say softly.
"I've got a ball coming up. Come with me?" He asks.
I look up at him surprised.
"Really?" I ask him.
He nods his head and brushes strands of hair out of my face.
"Yes!" I answer him as I grin widely.
He chuckled at this and kisses my forehead.
"Sleep, Layla."
I sigh and close my eyes again letting the sleep take me away.
*
"So what day is the ball?" I ask him as I pour some cereal into a bowl.
"28th." He answers, as types on his phone.
"Oh. So it's in a couple of days." I say putting the milk away.
He nods, still looking down at his phone.
"What do I wear?" I ask him walking over to the stool.
He looks up from his phone and puts it away.
"I'll take you shopping." He says looking at me now.
"Okay. You're not paying though." I tell him seriously.
He scoffs and rolls his eyes.
"Shut up." He says blankly staring into my eyes.
I glare at him and then take the spoon to my mouth.
"You sure you don't want anything?" I ask him referring to breakfast.
He shakes his head and just watches me.
I shrug and continue eating.
"So is it like a Mafia sort of event?" I ask him curiously.
"Yes. It's yearly." He answers me.
I nod my head in answer.
"What are you doing tonight?" He asks me as he checks his watch.
"Christmas Eve dinner. You?" I ask him.
"Business." Is all he says.

"You're not doing anything?" I say concerned but then remember that he doesn't have any family.
I mentally slap my forehead and roll my eyes at my stupidity.
I couldn't help but feel bad for him.
"Do you want to come for dinner tonight?" I ask him.
He chuckles as he keeps eye contact with me.
He rakes a hand through his hair and licks his lips before replying.
"Don't think your folks will like that."
I shrug and place the bowl down.
"I don't care." I say blankly.
"I'm fine Layla. It's been like this my whole life." He says.
I sigh and nod my head knowing I wouldn't get anywhere.
"I've gotta go." He says standing up.
I stand up with him and walk him to the door.
Once we made It outside, I turned to him and instantly wrapped my arms around his neck.
His arms came around my waist as he embraced me.
We stayed like this for a while until he broke it.
"I'll see you later Layla." He kisses my cheek and walks away.
I go back inside and I peek my head through the door to watch him leave.
Just as he was about to open the car door his grey eyes shot to mine.
My eyes widened and I stepped away from the door, my face reddening from being caught.
I waited a couple of seconds to see if he was gone, but he was now leaning against the car door watching me with a knowing smirk.
He raised an eyebrow at me and I blushed.
I turned away and closed the door.
Once I knew he was gone due to the roar of his car speeding down the street, I went over to my room and got ready for the day.
An hour or so later my cousin Aidan arrived, along with my parents.
Aidan was my mother's sisters son, which made him my first cousin as my father didn't have any siblings.
We spent that night all together, feasting on food and enjoying the presence of each other.
I hadn't heard from Landon for the rest of the day.
As I was getting ready for bed, I remembered the Christmas present that I had ordered for Landon.
I went over to my drawer and took out the small box.
I placed it in the bag and left it on the side of my desk.
I smiled brightly, and went under my covers, taking my phone with me.
I scrolled through social media for a while until deciding to go to bed.
Just as I put my phone down it dinged and I looked down at the message to see it was from Landon.

Leave your window open. Be there in 5.
I read the message and placed my phone back down, unlocking the window I went back to my bed and slid underneath the blankets.
I leaned my head against the pillow feeling the tiredness overwhelm me.
I looked towards my digital clock and saw that the time was exactly 12 am.
Just before I let myself fall into a deep sleep I hear shuffling coming from my window.
I open my eyes and watch as Landon's figure comes into view.
I sit up from my bed and watch as he shrugs his coat off.
His eyes fall onto mine as he starts approaching me.
I watch the small white snow specs on his hair fall off his head.
He sits down on my bed and I wrap my arms around his neck almost immediately.
His normally warm body was now cold and I couldn't help but bring my warmth onto him.
His arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me onto his lap.
He buries his head into the crook of my neck and places soft feather-like kisses onto it.
I leant into his touch hopelessly.
He pulls away and I rest my head on his chest.
"For you," He says pulling out a small box from his coat.
I gasp remembering the gift that I got him.
I get off his lap and practically run towards my desk.
I grab the bag and hold it behind my back as I approach Landon.
He sits there watching me with amused eyes.
"Open yours first," I say holding out the bag for him.
He arches an eyebrow and takes the bag off of me.
I watch as he opens the bag and takes the small box in his hand.
He opens it up and stares at the piece of jewellery.
I see his lips twitch as he licks them and takes it into his hands.
He holds it up and observed it as he twirls it around.
"Your initials." He states.
I shake my head excitedly.
"I thought it would be nice, considering you gave me your ring with your initials, so now you have mine." I say smiling at him.
He takes the ring and slides it on his ring finger.
He looks up at me and smiles.
A breathtakingly beautiful smile.
I love him.
"Thank you, Layla." He says and takes my hand and kisses it.
I feel myself blush and I shrug before answering.
"It's nothing," I say.
He places me on his lap again and takes a box from his coat placing it in my hands.
I open the box and gasp at the sight.
It was a simple gold bracelet, with the word 'Layla' engraved cursive in the middle.
"Merry Christmas, Love." Landon whispers in my ear.
I smile up at him and hug him tightly.
He places kisses on my cheek as I clasp the bracelet on my wrist.
"This is too much Landon," I say looking at it breathlessly.
He rolls his eyes and replies.
"Money is nothing for me, you know that." He says against my neck as he starts placing kisses along my throat.
My mind goes hazy from the contact which brings me to only hum in response.
I move my attention towards him, as I lean into his touch letting him caress my neck.
He places kisses all around my neck and slowly making his way up to my lips.
He places a kiss on my jaw, cheek and then the corner of my lips.
He lingers his full lips there until moving them in front of my own.
I find myself closing my eyes as his lips brush against mine, and the temptation of wanting to taste him had me urging for him.
His lips then push against mine softly.
I melt into the kiss instantly, his pillow-soft lips move against my own perfectly.
Our rhythm picks up and my hands find themselves in his hair.
I rake my hands through his silky locks as he pushes his body against me.
His hands roam my body in all sought's of places making me moan in pleasure.
Landon's wet tongue swiftly makes its way into my mouth and battles with mine.
After a while, Landon releases my lips and lets me breathe.
I pant against his chest as he leans his head on my neck.
I feel him smirk against my skin which makes me blush furiously.
"I've gotta go Love." He says suddenly.
I frown and find myself not wanting him to go.
I mentally roll my eyes at my clinginess.
I look up into his grey eyes and find myself getting lost in them.
Landon stands up and places me down on the bed.
Just as Landon was about to go through the window my voice suddenly speaks up.
"Stay?" I ask him quietly as I look up at him.
His gaze switches to me and he stares down at me.
I see his emotionless eyes soften and he closes the window which makes me instantly grin.
He slips his shoes off and comes down into the blankets with me.
I snuggle up into his body as he wraps a possessive arm around me.
I feel myself drifting off instantly and the last thing I hear before dozing off is Landon's angelic husky voice.
"Only for you."
