Landon's arm wrapped around my waist protectively as we make our way to the fancy looking restaurant.
Andre and Dante trailed behind us as we walked through the doors.
A waiter approached us, Andre had stepped forward and talked to the man.
The waiter then signalled for us to follow him.
We reached a table that had four scary-looking men In black suits sitting there.
They all looked to be around in their late 20s, tattoos running up their necks and buff built bodies.
The one at the head of the table scanned me head to toe while smirking and then started to get up from his seat.
Landon saw this and tightened his hold on me as he pushed me behind him.
"Dimitri." Landon greets him coldly.
'Dimitri' sends an evil looking smirk towards Landon and nods at him.
"Angelo, good to see you." He greets.
Dimitri moved out of the way and motioned his arm out gesturing for us to sit.
Landon walks me over to the seat at the end, and he takes the sits next to me.
Andre sits across from Landon and Dante sits across from me.
The waiter poured wine into my glass and then poured an expensive-looking whisky into the other glasses.
I stared at the wine weirdly.
Do they not know we are underage?
Before the waiter could walk away Landon signalled him to come over.
Landon whispered something to him and he nodded and walked off.
"How are we all?" Dimitri says looking at us all with a smile, his eyes lingered on me for a second before returning to the others.
I felt Landon's hand come from under the table to my lap, holding it out for me.
I smiled to myself and took his hand in my own.
Our hands entwined as they sat on my lap.
"Cut the shit and get straight to the business." Dante said gruffly.
Dimitri's eyes lit up with amusement and he chuckled.
He clasped his hands together and sobered up.
"Very well then." He says.
"We want weapons." He states looking at Landon.
Landon's face stays emotionless as he waits for him to continue.
"How much are you willing to pay?" Andre asks.
Before Dimitri could answer the waiter comes back and places a glass of water and a glass of coke in front of me.
He walks off and I look at Landon curiously.
He glances down at me with a small smirk and winks at me before going back to the men.
I take the glass to my lips and sip on my coke.
"20 percent." Dimitri says looking at Landon.
Dante scoffs and Landon rolls his eyes.
"20 percent for some of our weapons," Dante says mocking him.
"You're going to have to go a bit higher than that." Andre states.
Landon just sits there and watches the interaction as he sips on his expensive whisky.
Dimitri's smirk gets wiped off his face as it replaces with a dark look.

"Fine, 40 percent then?" Dimitri says more coldly now.
Everyone goes quiet until Landon breaks it.
"60 percent." Landon's deep voice says looking at him coldly.
Dimitri clenches his jaw and grits his teeth.
In an instant, a gun gets pulled out of Dimitri's pocket and is placed onto the table facing Landon's direction.
"40 percent." He says looking Landon dead in the eyes.
Landon stayed still, his posture stayed relaxed and his face stayed emotionless, not being affected by his move at all.
All of a sudden a deep chuckle came from Landon.
His emotionless face turned into amusement as a small smile formed on his lips.
Though the smile wasn't like the one he's showed me.
No, this one was a pure evil smile.
"You think you can threaten me." Landon says to him amused.
Dimitri looked at him coldly as Landon spoke again.
"You came here tonight asking for my help, not the other way round. So I would suggest putting the gun away before I take it, and shoot your fucking brains out." Landon says calmly but darkly.
Dimitri's face flashed with shock but instantly got replaced with an evil smirk.
His hand came to the gun and the direction of it changed to me.
The man held his eyes on Landon's as he pointed the gun in my direction.
My eyes widened as I held onto Landon's hand tightly.
Landon's smile dropped instantly and got replaced with a dark, terrifying glare.
Landon's eyes grew dark, like rain clouds.
I saw Dante tense up and his cold exterior turned darker, Andre's fists clench hard on the table.
Landon's eyes were dark and cold with no little emotion showing in them.
He didn't look like my Landon at all.
The only thing that reminded me that It was still him was the soothing circles he was placing on my hand for comfort.
"You really want to threaten my girl now." Landon says darkly.
I curse my heart as it flutters at what he called me.
"Put the gun away or this meeting is over." Landon says firmly.
Dimitri stares at Landon and then turns his gaze to me.
He sighs and puts the gun away.
"Fine, 60 percent." He says grumpily.
Landon smirks and sips his whiskey.
Andre and Dante relax but still seem tense.
Landon sets his drink down on the table and then stands up, bringing me with him in the process.
"I'll send over the contract to you tomorrow," Landon tells Dimitri.
Dimitri nods once and drowns down his whiskey.
"You're not staying for dinner?" Dimitri says wearing a small smirk on his lips.
"No," Landon says finishing the discussion.
Landon nods his head at Dante and Andre and they stand up and start walking out.
Landon and I follow not before receiving a dark smile from Dimitri.
I nearly shiver at the look and turn my head back around to the front.
"You okay, baby?" Landon asks me as we make it outside.

I look up at him and nod my head smiling.
"I'm fine." I tell him honestly.
He stared into my eyes and then glances away as we walk to the car.
We get into the car and Landon starts the car up.
Landon drives out of the parking lot he rests his arm against the armrest and drives with one hand.
He takes my hand in his and kisses our entwined hands.
I look down at my feet and blush.
"You staying the night?" He asks me.
"Yeah, can we grab some food before we go back?" I ask him.
He nods his head just as we pull up to a diner.
"Already knew." He says.
I laugh softly and lean my head back against the seat.
Landon parks then moves out of his side and goes around to mine, opening the door for me as usual.
I slide out with his hand in mine.
He locks the car and we then walk together into the diner.
Landon opens the door for me, and I thank him.
We walk over to a booth and slid in.
I grab the menu and scan my eyes over the food.
Once I picked what I wanted I smiled satisfied with myself and looked back up at Landon to see him already looking at me.
I smiled up at him softly and handed the menu to him.
He continued to stare at me but then got out of his daze and looked down to my hands that were holding the menu out.
"I'm not hungry." He says taking the menu from me and placing it down.
I frown and look at him.
"Can you at least get some fries, I don't like eating by myself." I tell him.
He rolls his eyes and runs a hand through his hair.
Just as he was going to say something a waitress approached our table.
"What can I get you today?" She asks looking down at her notepad with a bored look.
"Could I get two large fries and a cheeseburger please?" I tell her.
She sighs and writes down the order.
She finally looks up from her notepad and her face changed drastically when she saw Landon.
She licked her lips and sent a fake smile towards him.
"Anything for you?" She says as her tone became squeaky.
Deja fucking Vu.
"I already ordered for him. You can leave now." I say blankly as I stared her down.
She switched her gaze to me, she kept her professional face on but her eyes told a different story.
"I'll be right back with your food." She says to us as she walks off but I didn't miss the sly once over she did on Landon before leaving.
I glare at her back as she walks off.
The fuck is wrong with me?
I look back over to Landon and see a small smile playing on his lips as he stared at me with amused eyes.
He then leant forward and took his hand to my hair and twirled a lock around his finger looking down at me.
"Jealous, Layla?" His deep voice questions as he tilts his head, twirling my hair in the process.
I roll my eyes and lean back in my seat.
"No," I say and play with his ring on my finger.
He hums and then speaks,
"Really?" He says in a mocking tone.
I glance up at him through my lashes and see him smirking down at me.
"I like it." He whispers as he traces my jaw with his finger.
I sigh at the feel of his touch.
"Here you are." The waitresses voice breaks us out of our moment.
She places the food down on the table and turns her attention to Landon.
"Anything else for you tonight?" She says twirling her hair as she scans Landon head to toe not bothering to hide her not so discreet look at him.
Landon doesn't pay any attention to her as he keeps his eyes on me.
"No thanks." I say not bothering to smile at her.
She realises he wasn't going to talk to her so she swiftly turned on her heel and walked away.
I moved the plate of fries in front of Landon motioning for him to eat.
I then took my burger in my hands and bit into it.
I smiled in delight as the mouthwatering food made contact with my taste buds.
Landon ate his fries slowly as he watched me silently.
"Are you excited about graduation?" I ask him.
He scoffs and rolls his eyes before replying,
"No. Couldn't care less." He says blankly.
"Well, I'm excited. Finally finishing hell, that's something to celebrate." I say while grinning at him.
A small smile played on his lips, as he listens to me rant.
"Have you applied for colleges?" He asks me as he turns his gaze outside.
I swallow down my fries before answering him.
"Yeah, I've applied to a few here in New York but I'm hoping to get into the one in the city though."
He glances away from the window and goes to my eyes as he nods.
His eyes then turned cold and serious as he looked into mine.
"Don't move from your seat." He demands and I look at him confused.
Before I had the chance to question him he got out of his seat and walked over towards the bar.
I watched as he approached a man who was sitting on a stool who had his eyes on me.
The man's attention then went to Landon, as he spoke angrily to him.
The man glared at Landon, and only then did I notice another man behind Landon who had just taken a gun out of his pocket.
My eyes widened in shock as it pointed in Landon's direction, more specifically to his back.
"Landon-
I shout for his name but then get cut off by the trigger being pulled.
