Mia POV:

It's been a full month since the incident. "Nathan tried to postpone the hearing with a sob story about his fiancé being on bed rest and him being the dauntingly fiancé needing to stay by her side, but the judge requested proof that she couldn't be without him for an afternoon which the doctors denied. Gary tried to reach out to me but I cut him off, his wife Lois tried leaving threatening voicemails including threatening me because of the NDA which is null and void because she started the court case.

Our day in court was easy, thankfully I did not have to bring Ethan. Although, Nathan's attorney wanted Ethan on the stand, the judge agreed at his age and no relationship with Nathan it would only cause damage to a child, thankfully. It was a pretty straight cut case. The audio of Nathan's threats just sealed the deal. The kicker was when Nathan lost it after the judge chose to keep his signed over rights intact and he would not get custody or visitation. He ended up cursing at the judge and lunched towards him which got him locked up for a night until his parents were able to bail him out the next day. With the situation, the judge also recommended a restraining order. We chose to hold off on that unless it was necessary. Oh and the best part, the contract I had with his parents is null and void since they broke it when Nathan was there. Breech of contract and the judge decided to not allow them to petition for grandparents rights considering the situation and how they tried to manipulate me and pretty much buy my sons custody.

Gary and Lois were at the hearing, Gary looked devastated and heartbroken, Lois looked like she wanted to claw my eyeballs out. The hearing ended up going public, all the dirty details went viral. I felt awful I dragged Benny and his family into my mess, but they didn't care, every single family member stood on our side with nothing but pride to fight for me and Ethan.

When we got home, my home where Benny has been staying every night since the incident in the office with Nathan I noticed David with his down in the kitchen. I walked over "hey, what's the matter?" He let out a deep breath. "I fucked up, I'm so sorry". "What? What do you mean? Is Ethan okay?" He shrugged, I tried to run to check on him when David stopped me. "He's physically fine, look, Mia, I'm so sorry, you can hate me forever I deserve it." I took a breath and counted to 5, "what happened?."

"I wanted to watch the hearing, it was live. I was watching while Ethan was in the bath and paused it before he got out. It was in my room, I didn't think he'd go in. He never goes in my room, I was making dinner and I thought he was in his room watching his tablet, when I went to get him when dinner was done, I caught him watching. He saw a lot, the worst part was he heard the recording of what Nathan said, I'm so fucking sorry. I shouldn't have even had it on while watching him."

Benny stood there, closing his eyes and keeping himself calm, I know he's upset. But this was an accident. I went over and hugged David, "it's okay, he'll be okay. I pulled back, listen, this isn't how we wanted him to find out, but let's be real. He would have seen it eventually or heard about it. Don't beat yourself up, you've been there for me and him since day one. You are family, I could never be mad at you, I love you." I could see the tears building in his eye. "I'm sorry, I love you and Ethan so much. You are my family." And I patted his back. "It's okay".

I grabbed Benny's hand and lead him to Ethan's room. Ethan was curled up with his favorite stuffy, the one Benny won for him at Coney Island a few weeks ago. "Baby, uncle David told me what you saw on the tv today. Do you want to talk about it?" He turned and looked over at me and Benny, his eyes swollen from crying, "why didn't my dad want me? Was I bad, why did he only want me to send me away and hurt me? What did I do?"

My heart broke. I picked him up cradling him like a baby. Benny sat next to me stroking his hair, I went to speak when Benny did instead. "Kiddo, your dad didn't know how lucky he was to be your dad, he doesn't realize what he's missing out on, but you know what?" Ethan looked up at him. "What Benny?" Benny smiled. "I think everything happens for a reason, you know my mom Helen?" He nodded. "She not my first mom, my first mom was very mean to me and not a nice person, she said mean things to me and didn't take care of me, but when she left Helen came. And she was and is the best mom I could ever wish for, and I think that's maybe why this happened, to make room for me." He looked up at me and I nodded with tears in my eye. "For me to come into your life and be the best dad you could ever have. And you know who the lucky one is?" Ethan smiled. "Me?" Benny laughed, "me and you both." Ethan pulled off my lap and curled up into Benny's, "does that mean you are my daddy?" He asked with the most hopeful eyes.

He didn't even have to look at me to get approval, "yeah buddy, I would really love to be your daddy. If you would be okay with that?" Ethan nodded like crazy hugging Benny tighter, "can I call you daddy now?" I nodded with a smile. "Of course, if you want to, I'd really love that."

We both laid with Ethan as Benny read him a story until Ethan fell asleep. We tucked him in and walked hand in hand into our bedroom. I walked into the bathroom and turned the shower on as I stripped my clothes off. I tried to wash away this day, everything except the end. Where my fiancé took care of our son. The shower door opened and Benny walked in and hugged me from behind, "thank you." I turned around looked up at him, "for what?" He gave me a kiss. "For coming into my life. For giving me a family."

Next thing I knew we couldn't stop kissing, he lifted me up and I wrapped my legs around him, I could feel him against me throbbing. "Benny, I thought you wanted to wait until our wedding night, you held out 32 years." He grunted. "Fuck that, I want to start practicing for a sibling for our son. Our wedding is only two months away. It's close enough, if you would let me I would have dragged you to city hall the minute you said yes." I couldn't help but laugh, "your family would have murdered us. They're still not happy we chose a small destination wedding. Your mom couldn't wait to throw a huge elaborate wedding with everyone who is anyone to be at."

"Too bad, I know what I want and once I've got it in my mind, there's no changing it, and I want you Mrs. Mia Arnault. That was my breaking point and next thing I knew the kiss went feral and I felt him inside me and holy hell he was huge. It took me a minute to adjust. Then he had me flush against the tile as he pounded into me. For someone's first time he sure as hell knew what he was doing,! I felt one orgasm let out and he didn't stop, just kept pushing in and out of me with so much control. Before I knew it another orgasm came out of me and then I felt him grow more and soon twitch letting himself go. "Fuck babe, I wanted to last longer. "Are you laughing at me love?" I shook my head no "no, but it's the second time you screwed up your plans." He raised and eyebrow in question. "Your proposal? Didn't you have a helicopter ride planned and this elaborate plan and instead it was in my office after you almost beat Nathan, and now our first time together was suppose to be our wedding night and that went out the door after that nasty battle today." He sighed dripping his head down, "Sorry love." I lifted his chin. "Why are you sorry? I think it was perfect, both times. Benny, I don't need anything to be elaborate or perfect. I just need you. That's makes everything perfect."
