“what?” I asked.

“um I was just asking. Are you still mad at me?” He said letting go of my hand as I shook my head.

“I'm not mad. I was just in a hurry since I left the stove on so I thought I should hurry back down because you're already up..” I said to which he nodded.

“Okay.” He said as I nodded my head walking out.

I went back to the kitchen and turned off the stove. The Food was ready. I took out out plates as I soon heard footsteps indicating Taehyung is here.

“y/n?” He said in such a calm tone that it almost made me worried.

When he's happy. There's happiness and joyfulness in his calm tone. But when he's not good, his voice is calm, straight & plain. Nothing else.

“what happened?” I turned around putting the plates down.

I walked infront of him as he looked down at me.

I was waiting for him to say anything but he didn't speak instead he just gently held my waist pulling me a little closer making my hands automatically rest on his hard chest.

I wasn't pushing him away. I didn't do that to maintain a distance between us.

I felt bad since I felt like he was upset because of my behavior yesterday so I decided to apologize.

“I'm sorry about yesterday.. I know I acted immature and stu-”

“No you didn't. Dont worry. I'm sorry about my harsh language with you. I should have controlled.” He said as I shook my head.

“It's okay.” I said looking away.

“She is my ex.. Um I liked her a lot back then.. But she broke up with thinking I'm cheating on her. Though I didn't.. I was hurt back then but by the time she found out the truth she already had somebody else in her life. So we decided to end things on good terms and stay as friends.” He spoke.

“That phase was a little hard for me... And yesterday I was reminded of it again..” He said looking into my eyes, “I thought you would leave me.. It was hurtful for me to even imagine that because what I have with you is different than what I had with her. It's way much more than that.” Hs said looking into my eyes making my heart melting.

“You're my present and I want you to be my future as well. Whereas, I onl-” he stopped himself from talking as he felt my arms around his neck.

I tip toed as I wrapped my arms around his neck before placing a soft peck on his jaw and placing my head on his chest. “It's okay.. I wouldn't leave you.”

He completely wrapped his arms around me caging me in between his arms as I willingly let him do that.

I know he needs assurance. So I let him do what he wants.

“It's not your fault. Stop blaming yourself now. That's fine.” I said as I rested my chin on his chest and looked up at his face just to find him looking down at me already.

He caressed my cheeks softly before looking onto my lips.

He leaned his head down, getting closer to my face and stopped in front of my lips as he looked into my eyes for permission.

I felt my heart beating faster as he calmly spoke in his deep and husky voice, “May I, Darling?”

I felt shy hearing the nickname from him as I took my chin off of him and slightly nodded my head, letting him kiss me.

He smiled at me as he slowly closed his eyes before capturing my lips into his perfect ones.

He kissed me slowly and softly. I felt him smiling into the kiss as I kissed him back with the same emotions.

He placed one his hand on my cheek as he gently cupped my cheek before caressing my waist with his other hand.

I knew what he wanted so I pulled back to breathe as I looked at him straight in the eyes despite the fact that my cheeks were all red because of the shyness.

He smiled at me, assuring me that it's all okay, as I slowly wrapped my arms around him again slowly catching his lips again with mine but this time I opened my mouth letting him devour my mouth.

He entered his tongue in my mouth as he kissed me a little faster and with more desire and passion this time.

I tried to kiss him back with the same intensity but I wasn't very experienced so I tried as much as I could.

Taehyung eventually pulled back from the kiss after some good minutes and connected our foreheads together.

I closed my eyes breathing heavily as I felt him calming down.

I opened my eyes and found him staring into my eyes.

I felt shy so I rested my forehead on his chest trying to hide myself.

I felt him putting some of the bangs out of my forehead as he put my strands behind my ear as well and spoke gently to me, “Don't feel shy.” I could feel him smiling widely as he said that but I was too embarrassed to reply him so I kept quiet.

“You don't need to be shy with your husband. It's only me, hm?” He spoke caressing my hairs as I lightly nodded before pulling out and looking elsewhere.

“um the breakfast.. I will serve. You can go sit.” I stuttered as I spoke in a small voice because of nervous.

I tried to break free as I tried to somehow escape from him but he pulled me back by my wrist pecking my lips once again before pecking my forehead making me more shy.

He smiled at me, slightly letting go of my hand before pecking my nose as well and walked away to the table leaving me all embarrassed and shy.

‘Why is he like this?’ I silently cried as I took some deep breathes readying myself to face him again.

I quickly served plates for us and walked to the table taking a seat before giving him his plate.

I sat down and started eating quietly as I felt Taehyung's stares on me with a smile.

But I kept looking down and eat.

Can I please hide somewhere?

Oh this is so embarrassing.

•{Time skip}•

Taehyung stopped the car infront of my work place.

The whole ride til here was quite awkward but he seemed very amused and comfortable.

“I'll be going now.. Have a good day. Take care.” I spoke still avoiding eye contact as he looked at me still.

“Is something wrong?” I spoke looking into my bag pretending to find something.

“Look at me.” He spoke gently as I gulped before speaking.

“Why what's wrong?” I asked him.

“Please.” He said as I sighed before looking at him. Straight in the eyes.

“I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable.” He said as I smiled at him.

“No no its okay! I was just a little embarassed. I don't encounter intimacy usually... So it's just a little awkward for me. You didn't do anything wrong don't worry.” I spoke looking at him worried if I troubled him.

“I understand. It's okay. I will maintain my distan-” I cut him widening my eyes.

“no no! Don't take it like that. I'll get used to it.” I said but noticed his expression changing from apologetic to amused.

“What?” I spoke but felt embarrassed again as I realized my words, “I didn't mean it like that don't take it in that way.”

I don't want him to think I'm desperate to kiss him again. OH MY GOD! WHATS WRONG WITH ME!

“It doesn't really matter even if I do though. We're married.” He spoke with eyes flickering.

“Taehyung.” I spoke in a warning tone making him chuckle.

“Okay okay. I'm sorry! Fine?” He spoke making me nod as I pouted.

He squish my cheeks and smiled, “Now Say the first words again.” He said asking me to repeat my words.

“Take care? Have a good day?” I said hesitantly.

“Hm you too. Be safe.” He spoke as he smiled and pecked my forehead, “Call me if when you leave. I'll pick you up hm?” He said making me nod.

“I will. Drive safely.” I said to which he obediently nodded.

I smiled at him once again before walking out of the car and waved a bye to him as I watched him drive away.

“My day started well.” I blushed as I mumbled to my own self.

He's my happiness.

I walked into the company reaching my cabin and started working.

•{Time skip}•

“I'll be going for a business trip to Busan in some days..” Taehyung told me taking another bite of the food.

We were doing our dinner. It was 8:30 P.M. already.

“oh when will you be leaving?” I asked him.

“probably in 4-5 days..” I said as I frowned hearing him but hide it.

“For how long will you be gone?” I asked him taking last bite of my food.

“3 days..” He spoke as I nodded.

Am I gonna be alone here with him?

I frowned thinking about him being away for 3 days but he seemed to notice it as he spoke, “Um I'll leave you to eomma appa for the days.. I'll try to do everything quicker and come back sooner.” He smiled as I nodded.

“Thank you for the dinner. It was delicious.” He spoke as I nodded my head smiling and took his plates to do the dishes.

I quickly did the dishes and walked to our room. Taehyung was working in his laptop.

I changed my clothes and did my night routine before taking a seat on the bed.

“Are you okay?” He asked me putting away his laptop.

“yeah just a little tired.” I spoke making him give me a little nod.

“You know you don't have to work. I'll try my best to do everything for us.” he said looking at me as I did the same.

“I don't want you to be responsible for everything alone... I want to work as well Taehyung.” I said making him smile and hold my hands.

“Okay. I respect your decision. But just know that you can take a break if you want okay? There's no force. Don't stress yourself too much, okay? I want you to be healthy.” he said as I nodded.

“I understand. Don't worry.” I smiled at him.

He pecked my fingertips before smiling at me, “Let's sleep hm?”

I nodded my head before laying down as he did the same and turned off the lights.

Suddenly I felt taehyung's arms around me.

I smiled feeling his warmth as I scooted closer to him and snuggled into his chest before letting out a deep breathe.

He pecked my head making me look up at him.

He felt me looking up as he looked down at me as well before giving me a little smile as he pecked my lips as well.

I smiled at his behavior making him smile back.

We looked into each others eyes before hugging each other tightly again.

Taehyung pulled the duvet above us a little more, hiding me under it as I giggled a little before scooting up.

He smiled, “Goodnight princess .”

“Goodnight Taehyungie.” I said.

He caressed and softly massaged my hairs for a while making me fall into my dreamland while feeling his warmth as I felt him stopping indicating he's falling asleep as well.

We both slept while holding each other as the sound of night and warmth of each other calmed our souls down.
