Keiko was making coffee jelly in her kitchen, preparing for a day at the beach with her friend Nendou, he invited her to go with him at the weekend which she gladly accepted. Jelly was always a good dessert to have in the summer and she thought coffee flavoured was always the best flavour.

She was wearing a floral summer dress and had cute little frog hair clips in her hair, a perfect look for the beach. She cut the jelly into small cubs, placing them in a jar along with the cream that went with it, she sealed the jars and placed them in an ice bag to preserve the sweet jelly, that's when she heard a knock at the door to which her father answered.

Daisuke Mochizuki, Keiko's father came into the kitchen, he was a tallish man, around 5'8, black hair and hazel eyes just like her, "Keiko, there's a strange-looking boy for you at the door." he said, adjusting his round glasses.

"Oh! That's just Nendou dad. He's here to take me to the beach." she smiled, she picked up the ice bag and went over to her father kissing him on the cheek "I'll be back sometime in the late afternoon." she mentioned before skipping out of the room to the front door.

She heard her father shout from the kitchen "Stay safe!" she went to the front door to see Nendou standing there in a pink floral shirt, sunglasses and he held a large rubber dolphin on his left.

"Hey greeny! You look pretty!" Nendou said, giving her a big smile.

"Hi there Nendou, you look nice too. That shirt really suits you."

"I actually found it in a puddle in the street, I took it home and my mum washed it for me!"

Keiko raised a brow at her much taller friend "Um- That's nice... Anyway, I made some coffee jelly! I hope you like it." she said raising up the ice bag.

They both walked down the street heading towards the beach "Yeah that's cool." as they walked further they turned into a different street until Nendou noticed a door for one of the houses "Hey is that my buddy's house?" he asked now stopping in front.

"Saiki? Maybe, why? Are you wanting to invite him?" Keiko asked.

"Sure! The more the merrier."

"Hey pal, let's go to the beach. We were just walking down the street here and I saw your name on the door and figured this was your house." Nendou said to Saiki, as Keiko awkwardly stood beside him both facing Saiki and a young-looking woman who looked horrified at Nendou.

Keiko let out a small laugh "It was just a lucky guess, I suppose."

Saiki's mother pointed a shaky finger towards Nendou, mumbling words that weren't forming correctly "Ku, is this your friend?" she finally asked, that's when she noticed Keiko and let out a cute little cat smile "And is she also your friend Ku? I didn't know you had any girl-friends." she said much more lovingly.

Saiki's mother turned around, holding a handkerchief as she started to cry tears of happiness.

"Ku finally bought some friends home. I'm so happy." she sobbed.

"I'm not friends with Saiki." Nendou announced making Saiki's mother's heart drop, that was until Nendou roughly grabbed Saiki's shoulder and gave a huge smile "We're pals!" Nendou looked so happy yet Saiki still stood there stoically.

Saiki's mother cried even harder "I never thought Ku would have a pal." she turned to Keiko again "And what about you dear? Has Saiki finally gotten a cute girlfriend?" she asked excitedly. Keiko's cheeks reddened and she turned away, avoiding eye contact.

"O-Oh no, I'm j-just his f-friend, that's all!" she spluttered, feeling embarrassed about the question which Saiki made no reaction.

Nendou turned around to look down at the shorter black-haired woman "I didn't know my pal had a sister."

"He thinks I'm his sister. I'm so happy." Saiki's mother said sweetly which made both Nendou and Keiko surprised.

"My goodness! You're his mother? I thought you were at least twenty!" Keiko said, making the black-haired woman smile even brighter.

Saiki's mother pulled Keiko into a bone-crushing hug "Oh Ku, look at her! Isn't she so cute? What brings you both here?" she asked, now playing with Keiko's green locks.

Nendou gestured towards the door "We want to take him to the beach."

Saiki's mother squeaked "How nice."

Saiki said, looking over towards the three, suddenly his mother's face dropped and she turned her head towards him faster than the speed of light.

"Your pal and girlfriend came all this way for you. You should go, Kusuo," she said in a much deeper voice. Keiko had never seen Saiki look so scared.

"Uh-" Keiko started, she then raised the ice bag "I made some coffee jelly if you'd like some Saiki?" she asked the pink-haired boy.

Saiki said quickly, now burning holes into the ice bag where his precious coffee jelly sat.

His mother squealed once again "Oh Ku! You're so romantic towards your girlfriend!"

Keiko took off her summer dress now revealing her pink swimming costume, she sat on the blanket next to Saiki and laid out some jelly which he was very willing to accept, they both watched as Nendou made fun of Kaidou for not being able to swim who instantly denied it.

Saiki took a bite from his jelly and let out a small blush This tastes heavenly. Keiko leaned over to Saiki "I thought Kaidou was scared of a lot of things, I'm surprised he's here..." she whispered.

they both watched as Kaidou took a step into the water but instantly slipped, now 'drowning' at the shallow end.

"Are you alright?" A loud voice from behind the two was heard which revealed to be Kinekshi in a lifeguard outfit now sprinting towards Kaidou, he dramatically jumped into the water grabbing onto Kaidou as his shorts slipped down, once again revealing his butt cheeks.

Saiki placed a hand over Keiko's eyes who was still processing what just happened, he turned around now noticing the other three "Nendou? Saiki too? And is that little Keiko I see over there?" he asked happily, Saiki removed his hand from Keiko's face and looked down at her Since when did he start calling Mochizuki by her first name?

Turns out Kinekshi was volunteering to be a lifeguard but ran off in seconds after he could hear a desperate cry for help.

Keiko stood up and placed a hand over her eyes, blocking out the sun "I might go for a swim, take all the coffee jelly you want. There's enough to go around." she said before jogging off, Saiki held the bag close to him Don't mind if I do.

Keiko walked into the shallow end, taking baby steps as she got further into the ocean, the warm feeling on her skin felt like when she was a kid playing in a pool, it felt relaxing. She moved further into the water and started to paddle around, keeping herself steady so she wouldn't drown.

As she was swimming she heard the voice of Nendou shouting towards her "Oh god! Mochizuki! I'm coming to save you just hold on!" he screamed, Keiko turned around to see Nendou swimming towards her carrying Kaidou, Kinekshi and some passed out girl in his arms.

"Wait- Nendou! I'm fine-" she was cut off as Nendou grabbed her waist pulling her over his shoulder, Keiko let out a gasp as she wrapped her arms around his neck "Nendou! I was fine!"

"Can't take any chances greeny!" He was now swimming towards land however he started to get slower due to the heavyweight of carrying four people.

"It's too much Nendou!" Kinekshi shouted.

Keiko rolled her eyes "Seriously you can put me down, I can swim just fine." she said.

Kaidou's eyes lit up "Wait! Mochizuki is like a lucky charm, there's no way we can drown if she's with us!" he announced, making the other two boys more relaxed, that was until Nendou stopped and the five were now sinking underwater, however as soon as they dropped down, Nendou was lifted just above the water like he was Jesus.

Keiko, Kinekshi, and Kaidou held onto him with wide eyes, Keiko started to slip but Nendou used his free arm to grab hers so she wouldn't fall now feeling like a badass.

"Nendou are you standing in water?" Kinekshi asked.

"I told you it was Mochizuki's presence, she really is a lucky charm!" Kaidou said.

Kenekshi wrapped his arms around her shoulders and smiled "Keiko, you amazing gem, without you we all could've died!" he said, little did the four know, Saiki held Nendou's feet under the water, holding them all safely. They were safely brought back to the beach thinking Nendou could walk on water due to Keiko's lucky aura surrounding them.

Due to this, the girl Nendou saved is in love with him and Kenekshi now thinks he's in love with Keiko as she 'saved them all' which he will soon forget about the next day.

It was now a new semester because for some reason in this show, time seems to be all over the place. Anyways, Kenekshi got a tan over the summer as he was at the beach every day, Teruashi is in the love with someone who she ran into making all the boys miserable, she looked over to Saiki who wasn't paying attention to her in the slightest. One of the boys thought it was Nendou which made her go out of character for a second. Kaidou got a new haircut and an eye patch, Nendou is being too quiet and finally, Keiko's family won the lottery.

What a surprise that the last one could've been. Saiki thought sarcastically, knowing how fortunate the girl's family was, however, the Mochizuki's were such lovely people, the money they won would always go to charities for the less fortunate.

Keiko got up from her seat and placed a nicely wrapped up gift on Saiki's desk "Saiki I remembered from when we were at the beach, I noticed how much you liked my coffee jelly, so I thought I would make some more for you, I bought the ingredients to make some with a bit of the money my family won." she said, there was no meaning to why she did it but it was out of the pure kindness out of her heart.

Saiki grabbed the box and looked up at her giving a small nod Although she may not have noticed the blue-haired goddess glaring her way, Saiki definitely did which made him want to accept the gift even more.
