Jason's grin stretched to every corner of his face and he barreled over, drowning me in his arms and lifting me off the ground. I hugged him back, surprising myself. Everyone smiled and he muttered,

"Thank you, thank you, thank you," Over and over into my hair, pulling me impossibly closer and holding me as if I was going to disappear.

Then we pulled apart, both of us smiling like idiots and Luke told us to sit down.

"Kenzie. You are very nice and kind and thoughtful and helpful and considerate and caring and sweet and smart and tall-"

"Cut to the chase," Jason interrupted, earning a glare from Luke.

"And you always can tell if I'm upset or worried and you do whatever you can to help. I know you'll be the best beta female and I was just wondering, you know, if you'd go out with me. But also, if you'd officially accept me as your mate."

Jake cleared his throat with a very unscottlike serious look.

There won't ever be a minute I won't spend showering you with affection and I want to wake up every morning beside you. You are my anything and everything, my day and night, my sun and moon, and I never every want to spend a single day without you, so,"

He knelt down on one knee and pulled out his white box.

"Katie Grace Turner, will you marry me?" Jake opened the box and in the center lay a simple gold band with two gems intertwined, their birthstones.

Katie's eyes filled up with tears, "Yes," She gushed and kissed him. He held her tenderly and I tried to keep in an 'awe'.

"This has been quite a night," Kenzie said once they broke up. "All this romance has inspired me to write a romantic book. Based off my favorite movie."

She smiled, but paused for a second, "Hey, what's the name of the boat in The Titanic?"
