《Stylish, sassy and feisty》Chapter 25 - 𝓛𝓲𝓮𝓼

In case you haven't realised, I lie my way out of things like these.
It was a thing since I was little. You have to know the secrets.
They know if you're lying according to your heart pulse. And when you are lying your body automatically picks up his pulse. So you have to make your body believe every lie as if it were a truth.
Just like pa said 'lies roll of my tongue.'
He was in shock. He kept harassing me to seek answers about who the Black Hunter was but I had apparently didn't know anything about it.
He looked at the polygraph tester.
'You best not be lying to me Steven or you are dead meat.' he growled viciously at the man.
'I'm not boss, I promise you I'm reading it right.'
The polygraph test is never wrong but it can be outsmarted and that is exactly what I did.
'Let's try something else then.' he stated.
'Do you like me?'
'What does that have to do with the Black Hunter?' I questioned as it took me by surprise.
'Answer it Nemesis.'
'No.'
'Truth.'
'Do you want me to touch you and claim you in front of other men?'
'No.'
'Lie.'
'Do you crave my touch so you fight with my attention?'
'No.'
'Lie.'
'Do you get jealous when I fuck other women?'
'No.'
'Lie.'
He chuckled to himself and lay back on his chair.
This bitch took me by surprise and now I was caught in my lies.
I hate him. I really do.
He turned his head to Steven 'This test stays in this room and goes nowhere else.'
'What test, Boss?'
'You can leave.' he said.

He went up to my neck and took off the wires but just then I took the gun from the back of his jeans and held it to his head.
'Nemesis baby what are you even going to do with that gun?'
I clocked the gun and shot one of the walls in here. It was soundproof so no one except me and him will hear the gun shots.
He held a straight face.
It was the only gun on him so he was defenceless.
He leaned into my face and said 'you wouldn't shoot the love of your life, would you now?'
He had a smirk plastered across his face.
'Would you like to find out baby?' I snarked back at him.
I pushed him up but I realised I wouldn't be able to move.
'Take the belt off my hand before I shoot you.' I commanded.
And he did so.
For the first time, in forever he did so.
He may not have had a choice but he did so and didn't add his unnecessary commentary as he would usually.
He took it off and he was about to put it back on.
When I grabbed it and swapped our positions so he was on the chair all defenceless. I quickly tie the belt from his hand to th e table.
It was my first time but nonetheless did it exceptionally well. What can I say, I am a quick learner.
When I was done, I looked at my masterpiece.
I attacked the wire to his neck detecting his pulse his eyes just followed me silently around.
His spare hand was around my waist tracing my hip bone.
I would be lying if I said that I didn't feel any electric shocks when he was doing it.
He has multiple tattoos across his arm but the one I was interested in was the one with a date written in Roman Numerals.
After I tied the wires and all, I walked over to the computer screen which had his pulse rate.
'Narcissus darling it's your turn.' I smirked and he scowled.

Sexy Sect Babes
“One in a billion.” Jack kept repeating the mantra in his head. “One in a billion.” That was the number the Omni-Corps liked to cite whenever someone stepped onto one trans-mat pad and then simply… never stepped off the other. “Safer than a car,” he repeated as he slogged through the snow, his mining overalls doing at least a passable job of keeping out the cold as he brushed aside a tree branch. “Safer than a plane. Or a starship. Safest form of transport in the Star League.” He slammed his fist into a nearby tree, exo-empowered strength shattering it into little more than scattered bark and kindling. “Yeah, well I never heard of a car ride stranding some prick in another dimension!” He roared, his voice echoing through the seemingly endless forest around him. Then he kept marching. He’d seen the fire off in the distance. And given all the snow around, he sincerely doubted it was natural. Which left the unnatural. Which meant people. He hoped. Because even if the trans-mat had screwed up, he doubted it had dumped him too far off the central finite curve. The fact that the air was breathable and that he could recognize the trees around him as oak told him that much. And if the dimension he was in had trees native to Earth, chances are it would have animals too. Of which humans would hopefully be no exception. “Because I’ll be damned if I spend the rest of my days talking to goddamn squirrels.” No, if there were humans on this mudball, he was going to find them. One way or another.
