"I want you to teach me to fight." She whispered frowning when Peter started to splutter. "What? You don't think I can?" She demanded trying not sure how much his response had hurt.

"It's not that I think you can't, it's just... I mean why now?" Peter said cautiously noticing the fox present in her eyes at the challenge.

"None of your business, now will you? Or should I find someone else?" She crossed her arms, her sassy fox still in upfront in her mind.

"What? No! Of course I'll help you, you just took me by surprise."

"Thank you." She spoke relieved to have his support.

Two weeks had passed since the rogue attack and things had definitely changed between Kole and Aurora. She feared it was because she was so useless in the fight and that he must have been ashamed that his own mate couldn't protect herself. It was because of those fears why she convinced herself she needed to get trained in defense. The only one who she trusted to train her was Peter, and she didn't know who she would ask if he had said no.

"Good morning," Georgia spoke as she came into the kitchen, a smile on her face.

"Morning." Rory spoke as she looked into the cabinets looking at the scarce food supply.

"What are you looking for?"

"I was going to bake something but I don't think that's going to happen without going to the store." Rory shrugged, turning to face the redhead.

"Well let's go to the store." Georgia suggested.

"I don't have any money."

"The pack has money, Aurora, which means you have money. Especially being the Luna, you would have easy access to the funds, and can use it to spend it however you chose." Georgia explained, "Has my brother not told you about all this?"

"He hasn't been around very much." Rory muttered softly, but Georgia heard every word.

"Let's go." Georgia said the tone of her voice leaving no room for excuses.

"Fine." Rory nodded.

The duo walked to the garage, Rory following Georgia to one of the cars questioning where they were going.

It didn't take the long to leave the pack territory and make it to the center of town, where they pulled up to a coffee shop.

Georgia walked with her head help high, confident in herself and what she was doing, while Rory followed behind.

"Good morning, what can I get started for you?" The man behind the counter spoke, his smile widening as he looked at Georgia.

"We will take two large coffees with a little cream and no sugar." Georgia spoke for them.

"Sure, I'll have that right up for you." The man responded typing in their order and taking Georgia's money.

"Let's go have a seat." Georgia spoke gesturing to the many opening tables. She allowed Rory to lead them to a table next to the window, giving them a clear view of what was happening around them.

They sat in silence until after the waiter delivered their coffees before Georgia spoke, "Now tell me what's going on."

"I don't know." Rory shrugged not sure what it was that Georgia wanted to hear.

"You said my brother hasn't been around."

"Not since the rogue fight, its like we went back to old times. I go to sleep before him and he's gone before I I wake up. If he even comes to bed."

Georgia looked furious causing Rory to flinch. "Why is he doing this to you?" She asked out loud. It was when Rory realized that it wasn't her that Georgia was upset with, it was her brother.

"I'm not sure, things haven't been the same since the fight and I got hurt. Its why I've been asking Peter to teach me self defense."

"Peter? Why Peter?"

"I don't know, he's nice to me. He's my friend, I think."

"Are you developing feelings for him?" Georgia asked eyes wide.

"What! NO!" Rory gasped. "It's not like that. He's-it's- I don't know, its like a brotherly relationship."

"A brotherly relationship?"

"Yeah, I just I don't know. I can't explain it."

"Hmm," she said rubbing her chin in thought. "Did my brother say anything to you? I just don't understand why he would become so distant. He's been so happy to have found you."

"I don't know, Georgia. I really don't."

They finished their drinks in a comfortable chat.

"Did you want to go to the grocery store get some ingredients?" Georgia asked.

"Sure."

"Maybe we could go to the mall too!" Georgia suggested a smile on her face.

"I guess." Rory nodded, not quiet as excited about going. But she saw how excited Georgia was about it and she desperately needed some girl time.

------------

Kole rubbed his forehead in frustration. Things were not going as planned and he didn't know what to do about it.

"Kole Andrew! What the hell do you think your doing!" Georgia yelled coming into his study, door slamming into the wall behind her. She was furious, it was a rare sight to see.

"What are you talking about? I am just trying to finish this before dinner." Kole said glancing at the clock to see he had an hour before dinner.

"I am talking about Aurora! I just spent the whole afternoon with her trying to figure out why she's been so upset and come to find out, it's because your avoiding her."

"What?"

"She says your never around anymore."

"She said that?" He frowned. It was true that he had been working more but he never thought she would take it badly.

"Yes." Georgia hissed. "Took her to the mall and who did I overhear talking about their late night meetings with you? Rachel! Are you fucking kidding me? How could you do this?"

"Wait, what? I haven't been doing anything with Rachel except avoiding her like the plague. Did Rory hear them?"

"No, thank god. It would have crushed her." Georgia took a deep breathe, "Just tell me what's going on Kole."
