" I am going to kick Sophia and Axton's ass when they get here." I hear Amyra mumble as Axton and I walk into McKay Mansion.

"There they are!" Jace yells and I smile, excited as hell.

"A email? Serioulsy?" Myra says with an unamused face and I chuckle nodding. Everyone else gathers around us.

My mom, Eleanor, Seb, Shyla, Amanda, Melia! And Hayley.

"Hi everyone!" I smile as Axton kisses my hand.

"Show us the ring!" Eleanor yells and I laugh, showing her the ring on my hand. Which I had to put on while walking down the driveway of McKay Mansion. The paparazzi chased us down this morning.

"It is beautiful!" My mom gasps.

"Myra helped me choose it." Axton mumbles and I look at my best friend that has a proud look on her face, I instantly wrap my arms around her.

"Myra, thank you so much for always being here, I love you more than life!" tears fall.

"Alright you dramatic hot bitch, I love you too Soph. Come on, no crying okay?" I nod wiping my tears.

"Now why have you had me up since five?" she asks and I turn to Axton.

"Tell them!" I whisper yell to him.

"Uh, can you people stop looking at me like that?" he says and I roll my eyes as Ameila mumbles a 'shut up Axe'

"Soph and I are getting married, tomorrow." he says and their eyes widen.

"Dear God! I wanted Sophia to design a dress for me! How is she supposed to!?" Eleanor pannicks, which encourages my mom to share hers.

"Sophia! You obviously have a dress picked out right?"

"Yeah, right?" Hayley asks and I chuckle at her horrified expression.

"Yes guys relax!" I assure them.

"Okay, so, Jace, Seb and Axton. There's a room at the Crowne Plaza ready for you," I tell them.

"Myra, Hayley, Amanda and Shyla, oh and of course Ameila, there's a room at the hotel that's close to the venue for us." They nod and Ameila looks confused.

"Mom, Eleanor you're with us. I have employees from my company and Axton's working on cakes, descortion and stuff." I tell them.

"I have dresses, suits everything picked out, with options of course!" I tell them and they nod.

"Well, did you not hear the bride? Get going!" Amyra yells and I laugh. Everyone rushes around to do their own thing.

"Can we leave now?" Axton mumbles pulling me into his arms.

"No, but you Seb and Jace can." I kiss his cheek.

"So, basically," he says, fiddling with my fingers.

"I have to spend the rest of today and tonight without you?" he asks and I nod.

"Yes, you can't see me before the wedding." I tell him. He looks at me like I'm mad and I laugh.

"How the fuck am I supposed to do that?" he asks and I roll my eyes at how cute he is.

"It's just the rest of today and tonight, you can wait."

"Alright love birds, wrap it up." Jace tells us and Axton throws a pillow at him.

"Ouch, you motherfucker!"

"Jacey! Don't say that!" Ameila yells as she follows Eleanor up the staircase.

"My bad little McKay." Huh?

"It'll catch on, you'll see." he tells me and I roll my eyes.

"Seriously, Soph can we go have lunch?" I nod, moving away but Axton pulls me back.

"You're gonna pay for torturing me this long." I smile, leaning on him.

"Looking forward to it," I mumble into his ear. His grip on my waist tightens, but I quickly escape.

"So, I'll see you at the alter Mr.McKay." I smile.

"At the alter, soon to be Mrs. McKay." I chuckle, walking away with Jace.

"Been a while since we went for lunch." I tell him and he nods.

Something's off.

"Jacey? What's wrong?" I ask him, slipping my ring out my finger, paparazzi most likey will be after us as we step out McKay Mansion.

"Well uh." We walk to his car and get in. I look up at the sky, but two pairs of eyes meet mine as I look up at the balcony. My phone vibrates and I see a message from Axton.

Axton: Had to take in every look of you. Seatbelt baby.

I lookup at him, the smallest smile visible on his face. I strap the seatbelt over me and turn to Jace, who is also texting someone. Don't ask. Do not.

"Who you texting over there?" I smirk at him and he rolls his eyes locking his phone.

"Kiara." I tense hearing her name.

"You two still talk?" I ask him and this time he tenses.

"That's what I wanted to talk to you about," he says, pulling out of McKay Mansion.

"Mhm.." I encourage him to talk, but he hesitates.

"After Adalyn, I couldn't bring myself to love anyone, hell, even liking someone." I frown as he mentions her name, but a part of me is so proud he can say her name and not break down. Adalyn is Jace's ex. They were so in love, high school sweethearts, but it all burnt down. Literally. Jace was so broken, Axton, Myra, and I couldn't pull him out. I don't think we ever did.

"But Kiara..." Oh? Oh.

"I know it's fucked up, everything she pulled, and she's your half-sister, but Soph I really fucking love her."

"Okay." I tell him.

"Okay?" He asks and I nod.

"Jace, I know what you went through with Adalyn, and if she makes you happy, then be with her, I'm not gonna stop you, yeah its a bit messed up but, once you're happy, we're good." I tell him, meaning every word. I wasn't about to ruin this for him.

"Thank you Soph, it means a lot." I smile.

---

"And the dress, check!" I check off the last thing on our to-do list. I look up at everyone. Mom, Eleanor, and Shyla are on the couch, Myra and Amanda are standing behind the couch and Hayley is next to me. We were at the hotel, it was around ten at night.

"Well, all set for tomorrow, although your last day as a single woman needs champagne." Myra says, walking to the champagne bottle.

"Drink some for me?" I frown.

"'ll drink a lot more than some." she mumbles and everyone chuckles. There's a knock on the door, everyone seems to be having fun, chatting.

"I'll get it." I tell them, I get up and walk to the door.

"Sophia Rivera?" I nod as the delivery guy hands me a box, wrapped in my favourite rose pink paper. Only two people know I absolutely adore this. It must be Axton, the other person, doesn't care.

"Thank you." I mumble, signing the clipboard and closing the door. I open the box.I was wrong. It's not from Axton.

I've spent about a month, a good month thinking of how I screwed up. I'm sorry, I truly am. Well I heard you're getting married, I don't expect to be asked to walk you down the aisle. But I hope you know how sorry I am, and how proud I am. Here's something I know you wanted to wear on your wedding day.

Love, dad...or whatever you call me these days.

I open the box and see the butterfly hairclip, made from diamonds. I always wanted this to be in my hair when I got married. He would put it on, before walking me down the aisle.

Sorry doesn't cut it.

I grab my phone and call Axton.

"Hi baby!" he says through the phone and I can practically see his grin.

"Axton man, the strippers are here!" Jace yells and my eyes narrow.

"He's joking babe, I can facetime you right now-" I laugh at how cute he is.

"No, it's fine. Can we uh talk?" I ask him and I hear him close a door.

"Of course baby." I miss him.

"My dad sent something to me, apparently he's sorry. It was wrapped in rose gold paper and everything." I roll my eyes.

"What'd he send you? And how does he know?"

"I'm not sure and he sent me the- the butterfly hairlcip." I sttutter, tears almost falling from my eyes. I always thought he'd walk me down the aisle. It hurts. It hurts knowing he wouldn't.

"Go to the balcony." Axton tells me.

"What? Why?" I ask him.

"Just go." I walk to the balcony of the hotel room, the wind blowing my hair.

"Now what?" I ask him.

"Sorry isn't going to cut it baby." He's right.

"I know." I mumble, tears falling.

"Throw it off the balcony." It sounds crazy, but something in me wants to do it.

"But-"

"Throw that, and him away." I think about it. I look at the butterfly hairclip, it's beautiful, but what he did was ugly pain.

I throw it off the balcony.

"I threw it off," I tell him blankly.

"Good girl." Sir I have a praise kink.

"Xavier Rivera?" he asks.

"Someone that never gave his kids time, someone in the past." I tell him.

"If only I could kiss you right now." I smile.

"Too bad." giggle.

"I'm gonna go, have fun baby." I tell him.

"I love you Soph."

"I love you too," I tell him hanging up.

I still need someone to walk me down the aisle.

Actually, I have a better idea.

I throw the box into the bin and walk inside.

Tomorrow I'm getting married, to my best friend.
