"Then we'll walk out the church, as a married couple," Piper says as we go over the wedding routine.

Something doesn't feel right, it's a beautiful wedding plan just something feels off.

"Sophia is everything okay to you?" Eleanor asks me. Should say something or not?

"Sophia hurry up, we don't have time to waste." Piper says.

"I think something is missing." I mumble and Piper looks at me like can't you shut up.

"Or not. Whatever." I mumble getting up from my seat and walking into the kitchen of the McKay mansion.

"Hello Sophia." I see Camila, Axton's maid in the kitchen. I haven't spoken to her in a while.

"Hey Camila, I've missed you!" I laugh as she pulls me into a hug.

"I know you've been very busy planning Sir's wedding." I nod, walking over to the refrigerator and grabbing a bottle of water.

"Excited for the wedding tomorrow?" she asks me and I simply smile and nod.

"Sophia, you've always been bad at lying." I frown as she pulls me into another hug.

"He isn't in love with her, you know." I chuckle thinking she's joking.

"I'm not joking Sophia. I've never smelt her perfume on his pillow, like how I've smelt yours." Why is she smelling Axton's pillows?

"Camila, why would two people get married if they're not in love?" I ask her, pulling away from her warm embrace.

"For the look of it. For business." she says and I think about it. No way.

"Are you saying it's not real?" I ask her and she shakes her head.

"Have you ever seen her do the walk of shame?" I raise my eyebrow.

"Sophia get in here!" I hear Amyra yell.

"Think about it Sophia." Camila says and I press my lips into a line.

"Alright Camila, I'll think about it." I chuckle walking back to the living room.

Truth is, I'm not going to think shit. I've been avoiding this or at least trying to. It's everywhere. Magazines, tabloids, TV, Instagram, Tik Tok! I'm so fed up.

"What?" I ask Myra.

"Should we go with wax statues of Piper and Axton or something more fucking simple!" she yells in Pipers face.

"Wax statues are a bit too much. What do you think you are? Kate Millington?" I ask Piper and she rolls her eyes.

"Well do you have a better idea? Exactly." I sit on the couch and think.

Something cute, memorable and entertaining.

"Got it!" Everyone looks up at me.

"A video. A video with pictures of you and Axton." I say and everyone breaks out in chatter.

"That's amazing!" Piper's mom says.

"Great idea Soph." Eleanor smiles.

"Yeah that's my smartass best friend." Myra says. We all turn to Piper.

"Fine, but it should be playing while we say our vows and I want the perfect song!" she says.

"I wonder if you made being born difficult," I mumble.

"I bet she did." Amyra mumbles next to me and we chuckle.

"Well what song do you want to use for this video?" Eleanor asks and we turn to Piper.

"How am I supposed to know?" she shrugs.

"What about that song you and Axton always sang?" Amyra asks and I look at her like 'Bitch you okay?'

"What song Myra?"

"Uh, we took a chance..." she starts singing the lyrics and my mind goes back to that one summer night.

"It's really cold Soph." Axton says and I ignore him, running out the summer house and onto the deck that sat above the water.

I sit, folding my legs so that I don't have the urge to jump into the lake.

"Imagine if I drowned you." he smirks at me as he takes a seat next to me.

"This is what Corbin meant when he said you shouldn't leave two eighteen-year-olds alone, next to water." I say and Axton chuckles.

"Excited to help Corbin at the office?" I ask him and he shrugs his shoulders.

"Did you know Corbin and Eliza's marriage was arranged?" I gasp.

"No freaking way!" I whisper yell even though no one was around, everyone left for the grocery store.

"Yup. It was arranged by my dad. That's why I don't wanna be part of their company. I don't want my dad telling me to do shit." Like you listen to him either way.

"I understand. Plus, you're not marrying anyone I don't approve of." I tell him and he raises his eyebrows.

"What? I'm serious! I'll hack the music system, play eighteen by One Direction and object to your wedding." I tell him and he throws his head back laughing. I haven't really heard this dummy laugh. It's a nice laugh.

"No fucking way you'd do that Sophia!" he says, still laughing like he's mad.

"Yes I would. Imagine me lip-syncing the words, your not so future wife looking at me like I'm crazy and running away." I tell him and he starts laughing even harder.

"Well, let's hope I get married to someone you don't like because I'd pay a shit ton of money to watch that." I chuckle.

"Well, if you're ever getting married to an ass, I guess I can object." he says.

"What? Am I not worthy of the musical objection?" I ask him and he rolls his eyes smiling.

"No, you're not." he says and I gasp.

"You're an asshole!" I yell at him.

"Only for you baby." Why does he keep calling me baby? It's hard to not smile. Why? I don't know.

I reach over to smack him, but he pulls me over him. Crap, he's strong.

He stares into my eyes and I stare into his.

"It's time." he mumbles and I'm confused.

"For-" before I can finish my dramatic question, he flips us over and into the freaking lake.

"You're fucking crazy!" I yell as I pass my hand over my wet hair.

"I know." he says smirking.

End of flashback.

"Sophia!" I snap back into reality.

"Hm?"

"Is that the song?" Piper asks and I nod.

"Great we're using it." Oh you just pushed my last nerve.

"No you're not." I tell her.

"What? Why?" she asks and I look away from her eyes because I'll give in and let her use it.

"It's a best friend song and-"

"I'm using it!" she yells and I sigh.

"Alright Piper."

"I'm gonna head out." I tell everyone.

"Coming over tonight?" Eleanor asks and I shake my head, saying no.

"Soph, want me come with you?" Myra asks.

"Nope. I'll be okay." I tell her as she hugs me.

"You're so strong." She tells me, don't cry.

"Thank you Myra. I'll see you tomorrow." she nods and I turn, making my way out the house. But my eyes fall onto him. Walking in, very quickly. His hair a bit messy but he looks as handsome as ever.

"Hey, where you going?" he asks me.

"Home." I say, not looking at him.

"What's wrong Soph?" he grabs my hand but I pull away.

"I'm just tired. Have a good bachelor party tonight." I tell him, walking out the house.

"Soph!" he calls my name but I don't look back. I just walk straight to my car.

"Where to Sophia?" Marty asks.

"Home." I say, looking at the sky.

My phone rings and I see mom's name.

"Hello?" I answer the phone.

"Hi baby. Are you okay? I know things must be a bit down with everything." Huh?

"Why would you say that? I'm okay. Everything's fine." I say and she sighs.

"Sophia, Eleanor and I have been best friends since we were teens. I know how you feel. Listen I'm here for you okay? I know I've been a bitchy mom, but I promise I'm here for you." Her words just make a tear roll down my cheek.

"Alright mom. Thank you. I'll see you tomorrow okay?" I tell her hanging up as my building comes into view.

"Thank you Marty. See you tomorrow." I tell him as I get out the car. Paprazzi rush up to me, but I ignore them as I walk into my building.

"Hey Sophia." I see Kirara walking out the elevator. That necklace around her neck. Okay I've had enough.

"Kiara, where'd you get that necklace?" I ask her.

"My mom gave it to me." she says.

Sophia let the girl go.

"Oh okay. It's really nice." I smile at her.

"Thanks.."

"Have a nice evening ." I smile walking into the elevator.

As I go up the floors I try not to cry. But as soon as I close my door. I break down.

How am I even going to attend his wedding?
