"Sophia!"

"Axton!"

"Where are you two off to?"

"Axton are you ready to get married?"

"Sophia, are you dating anyone right now?"

"Sophia, where is your dad?" I don't know, he couldn't bother to be a freaking dad.

"Axton, are you selling your company?"

"Will Piper have any inheritance of your empire?"

"Where are you two going?"

God, shut up! Their questions are thrown to us, hitting us harder than this cold wind.

"Come on Soph, walk in front of me." Axton motions, hands filled with our bags. We were currently at the airport, waiting on Axton's private jet, he refused to use mines. Idiot.

Somehow, the paparazzi caught us, oh how luck is with us tonight.

"Why can't I walk behind you?" I ask him.

"Because I need to see you." he says as if I should have figured that out.

"Well turn around, idiot."

"Sophia, walk," he says stepping aside so I can be in front of him. I like getting him angry. He's impossibly hotter. What is wrong with me?

"Walking daddy," I say and he looks at me smirking as I giggle walking away.

I'm feeling crazy. I might jump out of the jet, kidding! Or not.

The flashes from the cameras blind us as we walk into the building. A few steps later and we're safe from the paparazzi.

I look for my body bag, but I can't find it.

Shit, I left it in the car.

"Ready Soph?" Axton asks me, but I simply nod.

"Is something wrong? You were more excited-"

"I left my bag in the car." I say, cutting him off.

"You're a crazy woman." he says shaking his head. I fiddle with my fingers.

"I'll have someone send it to our hotel. Now can we go?" Oh, for a second I forgot he was Axton McKay.

"Right, okay. All ready." I tell him and we walk towards the jet, walking up the stairs that led into the jet.

We quickly get in, sitting opposite to each other, separated by a table. It always amazed me how they fit stuff into boats and planes. How do they do it-

"Sophi!" Axton grabs my hand and it's only then I realize my phone is ringing.

"Sorry." I mumble grabbing my phone.

"Hello?" I answer Hayley's call.

"Sophia, versace wants you to model their new swimsuit line, they heard you're going to Hawaii, I can have Prisella on line in two seconds, just say yes." I look at Axton who's eating vanilla wafers. What's with him and vanilla?

"Hold on." I speak into the phone.

"Will I have time to do a shooting with Versace?" I ask him and he nods.

"Yeah, tell her I'll do it." I speak into the phone.

"Perfect. Adding Prisella to the call.."

"Sophia! Darling! I'm so glad you agreed, these swimsuits are going to look amazing on you! " Prisella's voice comes through the phone.

"We have one, minor problem." Oh God.

"And that is?" I ask.

"We don't have a male model, I know Axton is going with you, I also know modeling isn't something he pursues anymore, if not a problem would you mind asking him?" Oh lord. Luck really isn't with me huh?

"Yeah, he'll model with me." I say, looking at him as he stops eating his wafers and shakes his head.

"No!" he mouths to me.

"Are you sure?" she asks, knowing Axton isn't that easy to convince.

"Oh, he would love to model," I say smiling and he shakes his head even more.

"Amazing babe! See you two tomorrow!"

"Bye!" I hang up and he throws a wafer at me.

"Hey!" I yell.

"I'm not fucking modeling," he says.

"You are."

"I don't even listen to my mom, what makes you think I'll listen to you," he says and I raise an eyebrow.

"Because you love me," I tell him, sliding the window cover-up, to reveal New York City below us. We were now flying through the dark sky.

"Fine I'll model." he says and I hum in response, still looking at the city. I turn to him and see him smiling.

"What?" I ask him and he laughs.

"Nothing, I just like how your eyes light up when you look at the city lights." he says.

"No they don't." I mumble taking one of his wafers.

"Yes they do."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"God I'm going to throw you out this jet."

"We're going to another hotel." I say, folding my arms over my chest.

"Sophia, don't make this difficult." he says as we walk into the elevator of the hotel, the hotel that mixed us up with another 'couple' now we're stuck with a room, with one freaking bed.

I'm not good at math but, one bed, two people? That doesn't work up!

"There's only one bed!" I whisper yell, even though the elevator is empty.

"Sophia."

"We can go to another hotel Axton."

"All the other hotels are booked." he says.

I take in a breath as the silver doors open, allowing us to step into the hallway. It was a really nice hotel.

"Axton!" We both turn around to see a man standing in a suit, I'm going to guess that's a business partner.

"Dillion." Axton shakes the man's hand.

"Sophia. It's nice to meet you." How does he know my name?

"Kimberly and Dillion are close friends." Axton says, seeing my confusion and how uncomfortable I am, because he pulls me closer to him.

"It's nice to meet you too." I flash him a small smile.

"Axton, great job on the hotel next door. My wife and kids are there, they liked it better than this one."

"Thank you," Axton says, his jaw clenched, I don't think Dillion was supposed to say that. But thank you so much, Dillion.

A woman walks up to him, slipping her arms into his. But didn't he say his wife- No.

"Nice seeing you Dillion," Axton grabs my hand.

"Uh, Axton. Our little secret." he says, motioning to the woman. Yup, cheater.

Axton nods, walking away.

"He's an asshole." I mumble, remembering my dad. In fact the last time we came to Hawaii, we attended a party to celebrate one of dad's movies. He was so, interested in spending family time. Maybe it was the guilt.

"You okay?' Axton asks me and I shake the thoughts away.

"Yeah." I mumble.

"I know that reminded you of your dad." he says and I frown.

"You own the hotel next door huh?" I ask him.

" I was going to tell you, I promise. But that asshole's mouth slipped." he says and I chuckle.

"I'm proud of you! You did all this own your own." I tell him as he opens the door to our room.

We walk in, and as expected there's one freaking bed. There's a couch too.

I immediately walk to the balcony, the ocean waves crashing on the rocks fill the air. That beachy salty smell flows through the air. I love the beach.

Axton walks up next to me.

"I didn't do this on my own," he says, and I turn to the tall lit-up building next to ours. It's freaking gorgeous!

"Yes, you did," I tell him.

"No I had you there. Even when I yelled at you to leave, you stayed. I'm nothing without you Soph." I rest my head on his shoulder.

"Is this you confessing that I'm the best, best friend in the world?" I ask him laughing.

"Not a chance, I'd be stealing the title from Jace." I smack his arm and he laughs.

I'm so proud of him.

"We should go to bed, we have a long day tomorrow." he says and we walk back into the room. He goes into the bathroom and I change into my black silk pajamas.

"So, I'll take the couch." he says, I know he hates sleeping on couches. Ever since he spent night and day on a couch, next to his dieing grandmother, sleeping on couches trigger him.

"You're stupid." I say getting under the covers.

"I know." he mumbles, trying to hide his nervousness.

"Axton get your ass on this bed!" I tell him.

"What-"

"Really think I'm letting you sleep on a couch?" I ask him as he walks over to the bed.

"Yes." he mumbles and I roll my eyes grabbing a pillow.

"Don't move the pillow," I tell him, placing it between us.

"Not making any promises," he says and I roll my eyes.
