"Sophia, you're coming tonight right?" Shyla's voice flows through my apartment from my phone.
"Yeah, I'll be there," I mumble wiping down my marble countertop. Cleaning is therapeutic okay!
"Okay great, what are you wearing?" she asks me and I think the same thing.
"I wish I knew." I tell her, focused of wiping every spot clean.
"You always forget parties and events." Well I'm a twenty-three year old designer, sorry I forget things that don't really benefit me.
"Sorry." I mumble.
"Soph you're not paying attention to me." Why won't this coffee stain go away?
"Yeah that's good Shyla." I mumble not knowing what she was talking about.
"What?" she says as my phone vibrates, I see Axton's name flash across the screen and I drop the sponge immediately.
"I'll call you back!" I tell her hanging up her call and answering Axton's call.
"Hey."
"Hi." I speak into the phone.
"Can you get down here, now?" he says and I raise an eyebrow.
"Where and why?" I ask him confused as hell.
"Lobby and hurry." he hangs up.
Asshole.
"Oh okay then." I roll my eyes, walking out the door. Don't worry I have a sweatpants and crop top on, I didn't walk out looking like Piper.
Kidding.
Okay not really.
"Hey Sophia." I see Kiara walking out her apartment.
"Hi." I smile at her, remembering the dinner with her and her necklace I try walking away.
Her necklace looked really familiar okay? A bit too familiar.
I walk into the elevator quickly hitting the first floor. It's not that I don't like her, she just gives me a vibe. I'm probably overthinking.

I'm taken down the floors and I step out the elevator to see Axton at the front desk, surprisingly he's wearing jeans and a grey t-shirt. No suit today.
"Hi," I mumble as I watch his hand move swiftly, signing the papers. He must be really skilled with his fingers.
Focus.
"Hey, you look hot." he says, not even looking at me.
"Uh, thank you?" I reply and he finally meets my gaze.
"Mhm. Now go pack your bags." There goes my eyebrow-raising again.
"What?" I ask him.
"We're going somewhere, pack your bags, oh and I now own this." he says motioning to the space around us.
"Huh?" I'm so confused.
"We're going somewhere,go pack your bags."
"No, the own 'this' "
"I bought your building."
"What why?" I ask him.
"Because the receptionist said I can't stop Trey from using the elevator and going to your floor unless I own the building. So, I bought the building, now I own it." he says and I just stand there wondering if he's actually serious.
"You did what?"
"I said I bought-"
"No I heard you, dumbass." I hit his shoulder.
"You could have had one bag packed by now."
"Shut up, so I'm living in your apartment building now?" I ask him.
"That's another bag."
"Axton, the owner of this building sold all his other buildings!"
"Three bags."
"Stop!"
"Four bags."
"Are you serious?" I cross my arms over my chest.
"Are you going to pack your bags anytime soon?"
"You need to sell him the building back!" I yell at him and he sighs.

"God you're boring me Soph." Next thing I know, I'm being thrown over his shoulder.
"Axton freaking McKay! Put me down!" I yell but he chuckles walking into the elevator.
"I can walk now put me down!" I yell.
"Axton!" He places me on the floor of the elevator and I quickly grab onto him.
"I-i think I'm going to faint-" I say, dropping my head onto his chest.
"Fuck, Soph."
"Soph, fuck I'm sorry." Asshole, I should really be an actress.
"Sophia!" I giggle as he shakes me.
"You're so fucking dramatic!" he mumbles as I keep laughing.
"Me? I wasn't the one yelling Sophia, Sophia, a few seconds ago!" I laugh but he glares at me.
"Come on, it was funny." I tell him but he gives me an unamused look.
"No, it really wasn't."
The doors open and we walk out, I open my door and we walk in.
"Do you want something to eat?" I ask him but he doesn't look at me, or answer me.
"Axton!" I throw a pillow at him, nothing.
"Okay, you can starve to death." I blow him a kiss.
"Dramatic." he mumbles and I chuckle walking into my room.
"Where are we going?" I shout so he can hear me.
"Hell." He yells back.
"Oh right, you're the devil." I roll my eyes.
"Only for you baby." I smile shaking my head, he said hell, I'm sure we're going somewhere hot.
"So, I'm guessing somewhere hot?" I say as he walks into my room eating a cookie.
"You're a pretty and smart girl," he says walking up to me, holding out the cookie. I try to grab it but he pulls it away.
"Idiot." I mumble, looking through my clothes.
"By the way, you missed a spot on the counter." he says as I grab the cookie from him. I take a bite.
"Your mom missed a whole lifetime of peace when she had you." I tell him as he leans in, biting the cooking, from my hand.
"Less talking more packing hm?"
I grab a few outfits, throwing them into my Louis Vuitton bag.
"These too." he says holding black lace underwear and a matching bra.
"You're freaking stupid!" I yell at him grabbing the lacey material away from his hands.
"And you're stupid hot," he says, looking me up and down.
"Shut up. Where are we going?" I ask him and he tilts his head smiling.
"What?"
"Nothing, get your phone." I give him the 'Uh okay' look and grab my phone off my bed.
It vibrates and I see a message from him.
I open the picture and it's plane tickets to Hawaii.
I love him.
"Oh My God!" I scream, now I've been to Hawaii, but never with Axton. I always wanted to go with him.
I literally jump onto him, luckily he catches me.
"Thank you!" I tell him and he hums in response. He starts walking, while holding me.
"What are you doing?" I ask him
"Payback Soph." he says before walking into my shower, still holding me, he opens the shower, grabbing my phone he drops me, gently. But he runs out before the water can hit him.
I scream.
"You're an asshole!" I yell closing the off the shower.
"I know." he says laughing.
"When do we leave for Hawaii?" I ask him and he smirks, looking at the watch on his left hand.
"Twenty minutes," he says and I widen my eyes.
