"Shyla!" I yell my sister's name but only see my mom walking down the steps.
"Mother." I mumble, avoiding eye contact.
"Hello dear, I'll talk to you later, going to brunch." she giggles, she freaking giggles.
"Alone?" I ask her as she walks to the door.
"Nope." she answers putting her shades on.
"Have fun?" It comes out as a question.
"Sophia, I'm ready," Shyla says walking down the stairs.
"You should probably wear a sweatshirt, if paparazzi sees you, they'll know you're pregnant." I tell her pulling my phone out my purse.
"Are you calling me fat?" she crosses her arms over her chest, something we've both inherited from mom.
"No but if the shoe fits wear it." I mumble.
"I'm kidding!" I tell her and she glares at me.
"I'll be back." She says walking up the stairs.
"Soph." I literally jump.
"What the hell Sebastian, don't sneak up on me like that." I smack his arm.
"I'd say sorry, but I'm not." I roll my eyes.
"Why aren't you and Axton together?" He asks me and once again my eyes roll.
"No, like I mean no shit, why aren't you two together, it's pretty clear you like him and he likes you. So what's stopping you two?" I sigh.
"Just because two people have feelings for each other, doesn't mean they should date. And with a history like me and Axton, one wrong move in a relationship, and there go your several years of friendship along with the relationship." I tell him and he nods.
"Plus I don't know, he probably doesn't like me." I shrug my shoulders and Sebastian laughs out.
"Ha, Soph, you're priceless. Now get out I have stuff to do."
" Sometimes I wished mom didn't go back to the train and get you." I tell him and he rolls his eyes.
"Shut up Soph." he throws a pillow at me as Shyla walks down the stairs.
"Okay, let's go." she says and we walk out the house and into the car.
"Have you told the father?" I ask her, pulling onto the busy streets of New York.
"No Soph, I'm walking around pregnant without a baby daddy." She says and I really wanna slap her but I'm the nice sister.

"I remember the time I was pregnant." I mumble, pulling my sunglasses over my eyes.
"What!?" I start laughing.
"Kidding," she smacks my arm and I continue laughing.
"Mom's going to be so disappointed in me." I frown.
"Don't worry Shyla, whatever happens you'll always have me." I tell her and she smiles at me.
"Have you seen all those Sophton edits?" she asks and I smile.
"Yup, have you heard about Axia?" I ask her and she nods as I laugh.
"What about Saxton?" she asks and I shake my head. Those are the ship names our fans gave Axton and me.
"The edits are pretty good." she says and I laugh nodding.
"What can I say, my fans are talented."
The doctor's office comes into view. My phone rings and I quickly answer it.
"Hello?" I didn't even bother looking at the caller I.D.
"Sophia, can you send me the number for the catering compan-"
"Hurry up Sophia!" I hear Piper's annoying voice.
"I'll send you it in a bit, I'm at the doctor's." I hang him up, slightly angry because Piper was at his office.
"Come on, I have a meeting with Chanel soon." I tell Shyla as we walk in.
"Hello Mrs. Rivera." Doctor Mia greets us, this lady has been there for mom's pregnancy, all three, all our first doctor visits, gave us our first shots, she knows everything.
"Hi Mia." I smile at the lady.
---
"We're telling mom tonight, okay?" Shyla nodded as we walked out the elevator, making our way to the exit of the doctor's office. But we're met with a mob of paparazzi. Oh no.
"Sophia.."
"I know. I know." There really isn't any way out.
"Ready to go public with your pregnancy?" I ask her and she nods.
"Okay, here goes nothing." I push the door open, and the entire wave of photographers and media channels rush up to us.
"Which one of you are pregnant?"
"Sophia is it you?"
"Shyla, are you pregnant?"
"Do you know what gender?"
"Sophia is!" Shyla yells and I snap my head in her direction. I'm going to strangle her, I swear.
"Isn't that right Sophia?" sh nudges my elbow and I quickly smile.

"Y-yes." I mumble and the crowd erupts into chatter, mixed with flashes.
"How far along are you?"
"Who is the father?"
"Do you know the gender?" God, I might break down crying right here.
"Come on!" I grab Shyla's hand, walking us through the crowd. You would think they would move out the way for a pregnant woman to pass, but nope. Somehow we manage to get to the car.
"Are you crazy?" I scream.
"God, you're acting like mom."
"You just put me on the spot! I'm not pregnant, you are!" I yell to hopefully remind her, seems like she forgot.
"Mom would have seen, she would be ten times more angry if she found out through social media." she mumbles, frustrated.
"I'm sorry Soph, I really am, I didn't want you to get involved, but I have no one else!" she's crying now.
Now I feel bad.
"Okay okay stop crying, we're gonna fix this right?" I wipe her tears away.
My phone vibrates and its multiple text messages from family members, everyone close to me knows I did that to cover for Shyla, except for one person.
Mom.
Her name flashes across my screen.
"Hey mom..."
"Sophia, what have you done? You went public without telling me, meet me for dinner at Eleanor's." She hangs up and I swear I'm going to cry.
I'm not pregnant!
"Is she totally pissed?"
I shake my head, saying no, I don't want to stress her out.
As I'm driving to my mom's house, my phone rings and I see Lisa calling me.
"Hi Lisa, what's up?"
"Hey Sophia." I hear a lot of talking in the background, as if she's in a market filled with fans.
"I hope I'm not disturbing you."
"No, not at all." I tell her, pulling into the driveway.
"Give me one minute Lisa." I mute the call as Shyla gets out the car.
"Thank you for going with me and, covering for me."
"What are big sisters for?" I flash her a small smile, even though I'm very frustrated. She closes the door and I unmute the call.
"Sorry about that Lisa, it's been an eventful morning." I sigh as I see Hayley's message on my screen. Great I'm late to my meeting.
"No worries, I'm representing McKay Industries at a party tonight, was wondering if you have any emergency dresses." She says through all the background noises.
"Sure I'll send some and you can choose. Is everything alright? There's a lot of talking there." I chuckle.
"Its just a hectic day, Axton is pretty furious too." Oh no.
"Oh, okay well I have a meeting now, have fun at the party," I tell her and she bids me goodbye, hanging up.
I drive impatiently to my office, and quite literally run through the small mob of paparazzi.
"Nevermind she's here." Hayley says as I walk into our meeting room, filled with employees from my office and Chanel.
"Sophia! Yor're pregnant! Will the dress fit-"
"Calm down Karen, I'm not pregnant. Now, let's talk about that fashion show." I take my seat at the table.
---
"Sophia!" Eleanor greets me as I walk into McKay mansion.
"Hi Eleanor." I smile at her.
"Where's Axton?" I ask her, Lisa said he was pissed, so I guess he had a bad day.
"His room, go quickly before your mom arrives and scolds you." she tells me and I chuckle walking up the stairs.
I walk to his room, which was slightly open. He was standing in his grey sweatpants and a grey t-shirt.
He's freaking hot.
"Hey." I walk in and he turns to me.
"Hey." he mumbles closing his laptop.
"Heard you almost killed everyone at the office." I chuckle but he doesn't smile.
"Almost." he mumbles, now we're standing right in front each other, I can smell his cologne, it's addicting.
"What happened?" I ask and he sighs.
"One of my dad's past mistakes, as usual, haunted my ass today. Should be the last one, hopefully." he mumbles. Even though Axton saved McKay Industries, sometimes Denzell's past mistakes are left for Axton to mend. He doesn't deserve this.
"Oh no, how bad was it?" I ask frowning.
"Pretty fucking bad." he mumbles.
"I'm sorry, but I'm proud of you." I flash him a smile.
"Soph," he hesitantly opens his mouth to talk.
"Can you- Can we- fuck it." He literally lounges onto me, wrapping his arms around me. I wrap my arms around his body.
I needed the hug too. This was the first time we hugged in three years, he gives good hugs.
"You wanted a hug?" I ask him, still wrapped in his arms.
"Mhm, more like needed." he mumbles and I hold him tighter.
"Well next time, don't hesitate to ask." I tell him.
"There won't be a next time because I'm not letting you go." he mumbles and I smile like a love sick teenage girl.
"Dinner is ready!" Eleanor yells.
"Oh fuck no." he whines as I laugh.

The Ruined Monks of Rothfield Monastery
Erin is the youngest member of the dark monks; a supernatural brotherhood whose ultimate mission is to improve the dire circumstances of poor, war-torn villages using powers unique to each member. Or so he was led to believe. Erin, like his brothers, does not age, and that is, unfortunately, the only trait he shares with them. He cannot charm or compel like Woodrow, he cannot cast illusions like Knox, he was not swift like Swithin, not powerful like Blake. He was barely an assistant to his dear brother Wilbur, with his herbology and alchemy. He was told to lie low and make himself scarce. That is what he did. The dark monks temporarily reside in abandoned monasteries scattered around the country, feeding the poor and healing the sick, nurturing the monastic lands until it was fertile enough to raise crops and rear animals. As the years passed, they would leave these reformed, repopulated, self-sustaining monasteries and venture froth to help the next settlement. Yet, after years of toiling and quiet servitude, Erin notices that people and the country itself are declining. The villagers look gaunt, the once-lush soil now barren and cracked. He begins to feel disheartened, thinking that their mission is proving futile. Still, their leader Blake is steadfast and charges onward, and lately has his eyes set on a certain monastery in a thick, thorned forest that seems to diminish, even nullify their powers. A thick forest that Erin somehow has a connection to. A thorned glade where an ethereal voice calls his name with one simple request along with a promise:Heal the land, child. Heal the land and I promise to give you sanctuary so long as you stay. I promise to nurture you as you nurture me. As Erin cultivates the land, the land, in turn, gifts all its caretakers with new, enhanced skillsets on top of their unique powers -- skills of protection, healing, and magic. Magic. Erin had long wished to see the world fill with it again. The people, regardless of common or noble blood, still believe that magic will enter this world again. Magic to bless the king like it did the Saints. Magic to dispel the miasma befouling the world. Magic to bring back the fae folk and their many forms. It is up to Erin to forge the many paths leading to a bright future; to build a prosperous paradise that welcomes all races and bloodlines, by mastering the rewards gained through agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry, smithing, crafting, and fishing. Erin may also find a lifelong friendship and romance with his neighbor, Claude, if he decides to pursue him, and may even join him in the military campaign outside the monastery. The darkness still lurks outside, after all, and the mastery of his skills, along with a few good friends, may finally be enough to turn the tide in their favor. Most of all, Erin wants to keep the vow he set for himself: to protect everyone and everything he loves until his dying breath.
