"Sir, Mrs. Rivera is here, should I send her up?" my assistant asks me. What kind of question is that?
"Uh, yes. Obviously." I reply. She nods, closing the door. A few minutes, a very angry Sophia walks into my office, walking right up to my desk. She stands in front of me, hands crossed over her chest. The paparazzi pictures didn't do her any justice because, Goddamn, this woman is fine as hell, with the beige dress that fits her well, showing off her curves. Her brown hair, flowing down her shoulders in loose waves.
Fuck she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.
"Hi Soph." she rolls her eyes.
Imagine how good she'll look under me, rolling her eyes back in pleasure. Shit. Focus.
"Soph." she stares out the huge glass windows. This city fascinates her.
"Your fiance is crazy!" she yells, she's hot when she's angry. Focus Axton.
"I think she's okay," I tell her and she takes up a pen from my table and throws it at me.
"Sophia!" I whine like a kid.
"She's sabotaging my business, the freaking paparazzi are after me, New York is too hot and I forgot to get your mom's birthday!" she rants, and knowing Soph, she'll start crying, it's what she does when she's upset.
"I'm sorry, come here." I get up, hugging her, call me selfish, part of me just wanted to hug her.
"Do you have any more meetings for the rest of the day?" I ask her and she shakes her head.
"Tell your driver he can leave, we're going to the mall," I tell her and she shakes her head.
"No, the paparazzi are everywhere." She says as her phone rings.

"It's Hayley, I'll be back," she tells me stepping out my office.
I grab my phone, calling William, he handles all my paparazzi drama and social events.
"William, I'll be at the mall in a while, make sure there isn't any paparazzi or reporters or anything under that field. I will fire every single one of you if the paparazzi gets even one picture of me and Sophi, understood?"
"Yes sir." I hang up, most of my employees fear me. It satisfies me.
I walk out of my office, looking for Sophia. I see her taking a picture with one of my employees.
"Sir- I'm sorry I shouldn't have taken the picture during working hours," she mumbles, but I couldn't care less.
"It's alright, Soph, let's go." she looks between my employee and me, confused. I grab her hand, pulling her to the elevator.
"Axton slow down dumbass!" she yells at me.
"Thought you liked it, fast baby." Her eyes widen and she smacks my hand.
"Pervert," she mumbles as we step into the elevator.
"Where's your fiance, I really want to-"
"Soph. We can talk about that in the car." I tell her.
"I think I need an underground garage for my office, the paparazzi really makes it difficult to get out of the office."
"That's a good idea, Soph."
"Aunt Grace is in town!" she claps her hands like a kid and I chuckle at how cute she is.
"That's great, I can't wait to meet her again," I tell her and she smiles. We get out of the elevator and walk towards my car. I open the door for her and she gets in.

"I started a new book!" she turns to me smiling.
"And what's it about?" I ask her awaiting her rant that she wouldn't even realize she's reciting.
"So, two kingdoms, the princess hates the prince from the other kingdom, and he hates her, well so he thinks. He then realizes that annoying her to get her attention was his way of denying his very strong feelings for her. They're forced to get married and I'm pretty sure they're gonna end up in love." she rambles about her book and I listen to every word.
"Pretty sure you didn't hear anything." I roll my eyes, leaning over her seat, grabbing the seatbelt, and tightly securing it.
"Seatbelt Soph. And, what makes you think they'll end up in love? You never know what's gonna happen." I tell her.
"I thought you never listen to me when I talk about books. You use to, but you stopped."
"I listen to everything you say, Soph," I mumble, pulling out of the garage.
"What'd you get Eleanor?"she asks me.
"A grandchild," I say focused on the road.
She glares at me and I start laughing.
"I got her tickets to an art show." She nods, pulling her phone out.
"Miracles are real! No paparazzi." she smiles and I internally smile.
"Yep," I say looking at her.
"You said we'll talk about Piper in the car, well, we're in the car."
"Then, talk," I tell her and she rolls her eyes.
"I need to tell her take the post down, she's spreading false information!"
"Why'd you send her the PR package in the first place?" I ask, utterly confused.
"I didn't!" She yells at me and I actually get scared.
"I'm sorry," I mumble.
"She got one of those rip-offs fake thing." she scrunched her nose.
"Well, expose her at the party tonight," I tell her, pulling into the mall's car park.
"Your mom wouldn't want you to marry her after."
Exactly.
"No, it'll teach Piper a lesson," I lie.
"Uh, okay." she mumbles.
I get out of the car about to open the door for her but she opens it and I glare at her.
"I'm sorry." she chuckles as if it's funny.
We enter the mall and I already know which store she's heading to. Sophia can deny her liking to this lifestyle all she wants, but her weakness is Chanel.
"Do I have to go in?" I ask, praying she says no.
"Unless you want to hear something like 'Axton and Sophia spotted shopping together in Chanel.' then yes, if not, Calvin Klein is like two stores down." I sigh.
"I'll be in Calvin Klein."
"Shut up, do you think I care about what the media says?" she says, dragging me in.
"Plus, I need someone to hold my bags." she smiles.
Help me.

Sustentation: An Exsanguinate Novela
Kareem and Wesley are roommates who live entirely different lives. Kareem drifts through life with no goals or purpose besides finding his next drink of blood. Wesley is a devout Christian who seeks salvation for both he and Kareem. Both have their secrets and as the two are forced to spend more time together they learn more about each other and themselves. Together they come to qustion the meaning of power, Christianity, and how far the definition of humanity truly goes. Sustenation is the corner where nutrients meets addiction. Will Kareem and Wesley be able to separate the two? Note: I update my other fictions weekly, but I'm not sure what the schedule for this one will be. There's no real plan here. I just had an idea and decided to run with it. I usually plan excessively before I start a fiction, but I don't have a plan this time. It takes place in the same universe as the Exsanguinate fiction, but doesn't really have any links to the other books.

Damien Petrotti barricaded himself within his logical, black and white walls, believing there is no area for second chances, for grey areas, or messy emotions. He's not as cold as she thinks, and she's not as naive as he thinks.A modern combination of mind over heart, or is it heart over mind?•••Ch. 39 Excerpt"Thank you for having the patience with me." Damien broke the silence, almost inaudibly when he began to feel Ella's full body trust him enough to begin to fall unconscious over him.Thinking that Ella wouldn't respond, Damien was ready to close his eyes and also go to sleep, but then he felt Ella's cold hand give him the smallest and most adoring squeeze on his warm fingers, her hum of something incoherent before she stilled completely, her breathing falling deeply.Even in her sleep, she could sense Damien, she would respond even in unconsciousness, and that made Damien's heart skip a beat."To say that you are my whole existence and life would be the biggest understatement, my Ella." Fated Nirvana || Completed ✅
The Fated Series. Book #1. "A single minute without her in my arms and it felt like a lifetime." - Mateo Ramos My name is Mateo Adam Ramos. I was born into a family who's bleed for their reputation, and built us into being one of the most dangerous families to exist. You hear my name... you run. I for one am determined to continue upholding that reputation because that's in my blood. But things are never that simple, are they? Feeling and emotions got involved, and everything I thought I knew, vanished the second I met her. A soft souled, beautiful brown eyed girl who gleams with goodness found her way into my life. I shouldn't have played the good samaritan, that was my fault. I don't want to know goodness, and yet I'm drawn in like it's the light to cure my sins. This goodness has a name, and a face of salvation and I for one know I shouldn't get involved. Guess what I do? I get involved. Because even if I don't want too that's not really how fate works, is it? You don't pick and choose fates plan, you get slammed with it and good luck to your poor soul. This is my story, the kind that was written years before I was even born, and now I'm living it. Watch me make a mess of it too, because after all, I wasn't born to follow. P.S. This book is technically #1, but I have a book before this one that's about their parents. You learn more, and get a clue about their parents and why they are the way they are. Some of the conversations in this book would make more sense by knowing the past. It's not as well written, but if you can get thought it, I promise you'll love this one even more. Of course if you rather start here, then you do you! It will make sense either way! I tired to fill in all the gaps without it getting overbearing. You can always hop back to the book before this after.
