Chapter 2 Part 2: The Story of Chu Siyang

At the age of 21, Chu Siyang became a doctor, known for using Chinese medicine. Soon after, her grandfather died, as every one of the family gathers for the reading of his will, all properties and wealth will pass on to Chu Siyang. Her grandmother was happy for Siyang but the other party was not, they jealously looked at Siyang with hate.

A few years later, her grandmother followed her grandfather to the afterlife, living her alone. Just when she was about to leave to the airport, she was killed in a hit-and-run. As she helplessly tried getting up to find help, she saw two figures walking towards her. As they lifted her up, throwing her in their trunk, all she could think about was that she was finally going to be with the mother she never met and her grandparents.

Just when she was about to run out of the air, the truck opened, the blinding light blinded her for a quick second. Small tears came out of her eyes, her breathing slowed as she was lifted and thrown down a rocky yet grassy cliff-like hill.

As she rolled down the bumpy hill, she groans in pain as each rock hits each part of her body. Her eyebrows furrowed, wanting to cry but couldn't cry for this predicament. And when she came to a stop, her body harshly came against a huge rock. As she took her last final breath of living, she thought about the two silhouettes that she saw.

Those two silhouettes that she saw that threw her here to die was none other than her father and step-mother.
