"I think you should maybe add some more flowers like you said you would ten minutes ago."

My statement fell on deaf ears as he hadn't been listening to me and I sighed, "Would you pay attention?" I growled out, my alpha tone seeping into my words drawing the eyes of everybody around us.

"Y-yes alpha my apologies." he shakily replied, backing away to get more flowers.

"Okay, no offense alpha but, I don't think luna would approve of you growling at the pack members." Zach stated, with a teasing smile on his face as he glanced to the guy who was drenched in fear.

Now picking out the perfect kind of flowers I know Layla would like.

"I agree." Jacob nodded, I rolled my eyes at the two of them and continued walking as their laughter filled the air.

If I would have known planning a wedding would be this hard I would have taken Layla and the pups away to elope with her. I guess even then though I wouldn't have the guts to do it. As I know she probably wanted a wedding with her whole family present and she also really fucking deserves it. So I wanted everything to be perfect for her, flowers, decorations, everything. Even if that meant a little harmless growls here and there to get it done so be it.

Upon taking on the responsibility of planning the whole wedding to relive the stress from Layla. I also have to keep an eye on my pups with the help of Jacob and Zach. I didn't as much need their help with my pups as I did with the wedding. Jacob was her brother and I have no doubt he'd probably know what she likes. Zach, well he was very much emotional support.

It was just also important that I had them both in case I lashed out and bad, if someone screwed something up.

I took a breather when I stopped at a random table that was set up. Dawn sat on the one chair and Jacob carefully set Ruri's carrier on top of the table as did I with Jarek's. I was thankful Layla got them to sleep before I went out to do all of this. My eyes shifted from Jarek's sleeping peaceful face to Ruri's. Before I looked around at the working pack members.

Almost the whole pack was helping with the wedding, working on the tables, the decorations, and the seats just as I directed them too. Layla wasn't here with me which was odd. I spend almost every second with her it's hard not to be around her. Especially now that we have pups, I wonder how she's doing without seeing them. Right now I hope she was focusing on herself and things like dress picking like she's supposed to be doing.

My mom and Genevieve are also supposed to be helping her. Olivia was accompanying them which I found slightly odd I know their friends but, she wasn't a close one. So I'm convinced Layla's kind soul is what invited her in the first place. Jake perked up when he felt Layla was near and we spotted her over by the lake. She is so beautiful, she was wearing this pretty red strapless sun dress that went to her mid thigh.

Her hair was styled with some up and down in curls cascading down over her bare shoulders. That perfectly showcased her mark. Her hair had grown so much longer, I trailed my eyes away from it and to her face. She was smiling and nodding her head as she agreed with something Genevieve had asked her. I glanced to her lips while she spoke and I just had to go over to her.

"Watch the pups for a second and I mean actually watch them." I stated firmly, to Jacob and Zach with a bit of my alpha tone.

I know Jacob would watch them with no questions asked but, Jake still urged me to use the alpha tone. He was very very cautious when it came to them and I was as well but, having the pups made Jake on high alert almost all of the time. I left the table and walked down the mini hill in the forest towards the sandy lake. Her green orbs shifted up instantly when I drew closer.

"Landon." she greeted excitedly, her arms going over my shoulders as I wrapped mine around her waist.

Her body melted into mine and I buried my face in her shoulder to inhale her heavenly scent, "Hello love." I kissed the side of her neck lightly, trailing small kisses to her mark.

I heard her breathing slow and I smirked against her skin pulling away to see her flushed face. One of my hands stayed on her lower back as my other lightly pulled the hem of her dress down so it didn't go up any higher.

"I didn't get to see you this morning." she said with a frown on her lips, "And then Jacob comes by and steals my pups." she laughed and I shook my head at the way she worded it.

I pecked her lips, "That's because, I wanted you to focus on you and your dress and all of that stuff while I was here doing things." she frowned further, "My mom and Genevieve were supposed to tell you and help you." I glanced to Genevieve to see her off to the side talking with a pack member but, I didn't see my mother in sight.

"You know I'm starting not to like this whole 'Layla can't help with the wedding' plan." she stated and a chuckle escaped my lips, "And they are helping me Genevieve is anyway." she paused, "I think Audrey is also secretly helping with the wedding." her eyes drifted to something behind me and I reluctantly turned around.

My mom was ranting to one of the pack members about the seating arrangement. She demonstrated how the wooden chairs should be faced and I couldn't help but, to laugh. Two years ago I would have never imagined my mom even standing on her own. Now she's giving out orders for my wedding.

I turned back to Layla's bright smiling face, "You have to go now okay, I didn't even want you to see any of this until tomorrow." I stated, bringing her closer into me by my arms.

She sighed defeatedly "Fine." she leaned up to press her lips to mine for a long minute and I gave in.

After she pulled away she gazed into my eyes for a second before stepping out of my embrace.

Jake groaned unhappy with the idea of being away from Layla tonight.

Tradition is that the bride and groom have to spend the night before the wedding in completely different houses. They can't see each other until the ceremony begins. Now whoever came up with it, I hate them a lot, I'm already so used to sleeping with her I don't know what it's like to not have her there. She's going to be staying at my moms which was kind of close but, not close enough.

After watching her walk away with Genevieve I got back to work.

Jacob and Zach both met up with me as I went up the hill. Dawn following closely behind, hopping around with flowers in her hand. And my gaze drew to my pups who were wide awake, curiously looking around.

"Thanks for watching them." I stated, crouching down in front of them and fixing their blankets.

"Unc, aut lay says I'm a flower girl!" she yelled, tossing the flowers she had in her hands up in the air.

I smiled, "That's good." I tickled her stomach a little and she giggled, running over to Jacob as I stood back up.

"So I know that I haven't asked you guys and I kind of thought it would go unspoken but, would you two be my-"

"I think he's finally asking us Zach." Jacob cut me off and I rolled my eyes at his playful tone.

"I think so too." Zach played along with a grin on his face as he watched me.

They both looked at me expectantly with slight tilts to their heads and right now I wish I had better friends. Jake was even slightly amused at how comfortable they've both gotten.

"Well go on." Jacob urged and I shook my head.

"Fuck you both." I brushed passed them as they laughed, "None of you get an ask." I grumbled.

"Oh alpha come on." Zach followed behind and I held back a smile at the fact that he still couldn't call me Landon.

"I think Layla would be on him for cursing in front of the pups." Jacob added, trailing behind me as well.

"I think so too."

"We should tell her."

"Definitely."

Their banter was what sadly accompanied me and my pups all day.

A sigh escaped my lips when I got inside the house with Ruri's carrier in my hand. It was almost midnight and I'm sure she would appreciate sleeping in something a little softer than a carrier all day. Jarek was with Layla, my mom had came and stole him as Layla would put it from me. And she was right to word it that way, no matter if it was my mom it was still odd to have one of my pups taken from me. Layla thought it would be a good idea that she had at least one of them so she and Mia both could sleep better tonight.

Which I was dreading, Jake was already missing Mia like crazy.

I walked to the kitchen and placed her carrier down on top of the counter, "Let's get you a new bottle yeah?" I asked, her green eyes watching my every move.

A smile formed on my lips as I opened the fridge to grab one of her pink bottles. I took it with me and grabbed the carrier to make my way upstairs. When I got to the bedroom I placed her carrier down on the floor and gently picked her up out of it to lay her down on Layla's side of the bed. She immediately stretched her arms out once I unraveled her blanket, opening her mouth wide open to release a yawn. I leant down to give her kisses all over her face as she stared at me with her beautiful eyes.

Jake cooed and I couldn't agree more.

Afterwards I changed into some more comfortable clothes and got into the bed next to her. But, I made sure to create a nice pillow boundary on the other side of her so I could sleep better knowing she was safe on the bed. If lying here awake was even considered sleeping. I tried to sleep a couple times yet it proved really difficult. I know it was because, Layla I just know it was.

Numerous times I had to tell Jake and myself that we would see her tomorrow at our actual wedding. It was so insane to think because, it feels like only yesterday when I was stopping Brad from hurting her. She's come so far since then and I'm really glad that I got to witness it all. And that I was going to be the one to marry such an amazing woman. I guess thinking about us getting married tomorrow shouldn't be so shocking when I have a mini her right next to me.

Her big green eyes were staring up at me as I stressfully rolled over onto my back, "I miss your mom."

"I miss you too." her soft voice drifted into my head through the mind link and the excited shivers I got were enough to make Jake content.

"How did you even hear me?" I questioned, biting back a smile at the mere thought of her pretty face.

She replied with a small laugh, "Jake has been telling Mia about everything your doing." I groaned at her statement.

"Seriously?" I questioned, both Layla and Jake.

"I think it's cute you showered Ruri in kisses that way she gets twice as much love since I'm not there." she answered, I glanced to Ruri who was staring at the ceiling, so I grabbed her bottle to feed her a little to get her to sleep faster.

"I wish you were here love, this whole tradition thing sucks." I grumbled, holding the bottle up to Ruri's lips.

"You're telling me, I'm pretty sure I forgot what it was like to sleep alone." she stated and I chuckled, watching Ruri's emerald orbs slowly droop down.

"How is Jarek?" I asked, missing his tiny hazel eyes.

"He's fine, he actually just fell asleep which I'm sure we should both get."

"You're right.." I trailed off, slowly pulling the bottle from Ruri's lips when she fell asleep, "You hang up first." I joked, just to hear her contagious laughter.

"Shut up." she replied playfully, "Goodnight Landon, I love you so much." she whispered and I put the bottle off to the side, shutting my eyes at the sound of her voice.

"Goodnight my love, I can not wait to marry you tomorrow."
