It was now the evening time when we finished bringing the boxes over to his house, all that was left was my dresser and desk. Which he said I didn't really need since I'd share his closet, that was made for him and I. But, I wanted that desk because, it was where I did everything, so he said he'd get it tomorrow.

Every time we made a trip from the pack house to his house, people would glance at us in curiosity, others would pay no mind. I was so anxious at the start but, Landon would talk to me while we walked past them to keep my focus on him and my anxiety at bay. In which I found immensely helpful with my panic at the mere sight of people.

A couple of them even smiled at me, it wasn't a huge grin but, a gentle one. Which I was shocked by and didn't know what to make of it but, it felt nice. I even got to speak to Landon's mother and thank her in person for helping me.

I was now currently in the restroom, putting away my toothbrush, when I felt a hand on my back. It was Landon, I met his eyes in the mirror which made me smile. He turned me around and I let my hands fall to his torso.

"I'm so happy, you're here with me." he muttered, going up to tuck some hair behind my ear.

I smiled, "Me too."

"Good." he leaned down, kissing me sweetly but, shortly.

It left me feeling giddy inside, then he grabbed my hand leading me into his room again. He released my hand and pulled the covers back. I watched him as he slipped his shirt over his head. My cheeks heated and I tried not to look, occupying myself with getting in on the other side of the bed. When I laid down, he brought me towards him, wrapping his strong arms around me.

"Goodnight, baby." he kissed the top of my head and I placed my hands on his chest, feeling how fast his heart beat was.

"Your hearts beating fast." I whispered, letting my fingers trace small shapes on his chest, "Why?"

"Believe it or not you do make me nervous." he muttered in my ear, "With the way you're touching me." he added, halting my movements as I pulled my hands back.

But, he grabbed them with one of his, placing them back, "Don't, please, it's okay I want you too."

My mouth ran dry and I gulped, "O-okay." I allowed myself to do the same patterns I was before, feeling his heartbeat fasten once again.

It made me smile at how he got nervous with me the same way I do with him. Soon I found myself falling asleep to the rhythm of his heart beat.

Waking up was different this morning, I felt genuinely thrilled to start the day. But, Landon wasn't beside me and his spot seemed cold. I got up, going to use the restroom and wash up. When I came out, the door to our room opened and there he was, carrying a tray of food. With his shirt still off which made my cheeks redden at the sight but, I tried to keep my focus on his eyes.

"Good morning, love." he greeted.

"Morning." I mumbled, he placed the tray on the bed before cupping my face and kissing me softly.

I smiled against his lips, when he pulled away he dipped his head into my neck kissing my mark. A gasp escaped me from the tingles that shot through my body. Then he pulled away and went to sit on his side of the bed. As I walked to my side I looked at the tray, there were two plates filled with food. Along with two cups of orange juice in the holders.

"Did you make this?" I asked, sitting down admiring the eggs, bacon and toast.

"Um, yeah I did." he spoke with nervousness in his tone, "I, uh, can't cook for anything, only basic stuff." he scratched the back of his neck, "But, I wanted to do something for you, it's probably not as great and you don't have to ea-" he was rambling, and I couldn't help the grin that spread onto my face.

"Landon." I said softly, cutting him off, he looked at me, his cheeks tinted with a splash of red, "Thank you, I'm sure it'll be good."

I knew it would be, he made me meatloaf after all, but, he did say he only knew basic stuff. After that I picked up the plate and put some eggs in my mouth. Just as I told him they were good, he was looking at me expectantly like I was going to spit it out.

"Good job, a, plus." I replied with a small laugh and he smiled proudly.

Then he picked his up and we ate together in comfortable silence, "Landon." I said, gathering his attention as I set my plate down.

"Yeah?" he asked, before taking a drink from his orange juice.

Just because, I was feeling in a happy mood for once I decided to go with the flow and say something random. The silence was nice but, I like talking to Landon, I like hearing his voice and him talking to me.

"My favorite colors blue."

I smiled when he raised his eyebrows in amusement but, nonetheless smiled with a small chuckle, "Oh yeah?"

"Uh, huh." I grabbed my orange juice and took a drink before placing it back in the holder.

"What else?" he asked.

"No, now you have to tell me your favorite color." I added looking down at my plate, taking a piece of bacon and putting it in my mouth.

"Green, forest green is my favorite color." I looked at him to see him eyeing me intensely.

Green, of all colors he could have picked, "Why?"

"It's the color of your eyes." My breath hitched in my throat.

"I like reading the book animal farm." I blurted, making him crack a smile.

"Yeah, I believe you don't like when boxer dies, correct?" he asked, and I almost kissed him for even remembering when I told him that.

It was weeks ago when I did, "Yeah, yeah I don't, it's completely unfair." I muttered, sounding like a child but, that book was my favorite.

I've probably read it over one hundred times while I was locked away in that room. Landon chuckled as I took another bite of my eggs.

"I've never read it." he said nonchalantly, making my eyes bulge.

"What!" I said maybe a bit too loud cause he looked up from his plate, at me in alarm, "It's amazing, best thing ever, except for when boxer dies, and the pigs take over." I was rambling just like he did so I had to stop myself.

When I looked at Landon he was smiling at me a full blown grin. It made my cheeks heat up in embarrassment.

"It sounds like I have to read this book then, huh?" he asked, which made me mumble a quite yeah.

"You're adorable." he told me, which made me sigh in even more embarrassment.

I put my head down so my hair could act as a curtain, "Are you full, I could make you something else if you're not." he asked, once we finished breakfast.

"No, I'm fine, thank you though." I replied, feeling grateful that even though he said he could only cook some things, he'd still make me something.

"You're welcome, baby." he grabbed the tray placing it on the bedside table.

I was by now so used to hearing him call me baby or love that if he didn't I'd probably fear something was wrong.

Landon laid down, pulling me against his chest. His right arm was tucked underneath my back. My left hand rested on my stomach and our free hands were together in the air, while I looked at them. I had my legs tucked up on the side of him, touching his bare side. His head resting against mine and I continued to eye our hands, his was so much bigger than mine but, it felt just right.

Almost like this but, them laying down

"Tell me more." he whispered against my hair, our hands dancing around in each other's playfully.

I know he meant to keep saying stuff about me but, I didn't know what so I said the first thing to come to mind.

"I like strawberries." I tried to lace our hands together but, he pulled his away just when I would make a move to, making me giggle.

"More." he stated, opening his hand and I put mine against his.

"I love to draw." I said, now absentmindedly.

"Like what?" he asked, as I tried to lace my fingers through his again but, he only shook his finger no, pulling his hand away.

It made me laugh again and I started to feel giddy inside, "Nature."

I tried grabbing his hand in mine once again as he kissed my head, "What about you?" I asked as he finally let me interlock our hands.

"Well, I happen to love nature." he caressed my hand in his, when I turned my head to look up at him.

"What else?" I asked softly.

"Hmm, being in my wolf form makes me feel very free." I smiled, thinking about how his wolf form is probably so much bigger than mine.

"More." I replied, just as he did.

Landon showcased his perfect grin, "I love pizza." he proudly said, which made me laugh.

I looked back towards our hands, pulling my hand out of his grip. But, before I could fully he grabbed mine interlocking our hands again.

"Don't." he mumbled, which only made me smile and try to pull it away again, "Do you want me to tickle you again?" he asked, which made me instantly stop with a giggle.

We stayed like this in comfortable silence enjoying one another's presence. Our hands together, playing with each other. It was sweet, and it warmed my heart. If I could stay like this with him forever I would, it was peaceful.

Then I realized since he marked me, our mind link was stronger. I know before, we had already had one since sometimes I felt he could hear me, and I could hear him. But, since I bared his mark and Mia was here, it was solidified.

'LANDON.' I called through the mind link just to try it out.

"Layla, you're right next to me." he chuckled, then took his hand from mine and brought it to my stomach, starting to tickle me, "Did you really have to yell too?" he added.

The feeling caused laughter to induce me, "I-I was j-just trying it out." I managed to get out trying to stop his hand with both of mine.

When he did stop, I tried to catch my breath, while he moved his arm out from under me. Propping himself up on his elbow with the same arm. He put his free hand on my cheek and leaned down kissing me lightly, stealing whatever oxygen I had left. After he pulled away my stomach swarmed with butterflies, my cheeks heating up. I love his unexpected kisses, his short but, sweet ones, they were just as amazing as his long ones.

We then laid back down until a thought occurred to me which made me uneasy as it was of Brad. I've never thought of asking him this because, well I hate talking about them. But, in this moment I felt happy and I didn't want anything unexpected turning up to ruin that. So, I was just curious, I need to know just to ease my mind.

"H-hey, Landon?" I asked warily.

"Yes?" he replied, caressing my hand giving me the confidence to ask my next question that had him freezing.

"W-where are the guys at?"
