《All Our Flaws Are Aligned [COMPLETED]》Conversation

Bucky's other chance came about an hour and a half later. He spotted you slinking along the wall, or attempting to at least. You seemed to stand out to him for some reason.
He slowly headed over, trying not to draw attention to himself, with the idea that he wanted to catch you by yourself, and maybe...maybe he could have a proper conversation with you. Before Tony came around.
Before you got into another argument. Before you sobered up enough to realise you weren't to be having an extended conversation with him.
When you reached the doorway, he moved quickly, grabbing your arm and pulling you round the doors, cornering you on the other side.
"You've been sneaking around all evening, doll." He mused, planting a hand on the wall beside your head. You looked up at him and frowned.
"What did I tell you about using that language, you absolute fossil?!" You scoffed, but it just made him smile. Maybe he was amused by the way you spoke rather loudly. Maybe it was the fact that you being drunk and angry was cute to him.
"You don't tend to listen to me, I don't think I'll listen to you all that much." He retorted. You rolled your eyes, and moved to push past him, but he held a hand up, indicating he wanted you to stop. For some reason, you did.
"What did you want?" You huffed, crossing your arms over your chest. You had much better things to be doing with your time than waiting for a hundred-year-old man to speak. "I don't have all night." You added, when he just stared at you.
"Did you have fun tonight?" He finally asked.
"I did until you ambushed me."
"You sound a little drunk." He pointed out, an arrogant smirk on his face.
"Do I care?" You snapped back, making him raise an eyebrow. "I'm allowed to have a drink. It's rather enjoyable when you don't have a tin man interrupting your buzz."
Then he licked his bottom lip, and glanced up at the ceiling.
"Don't you ever get bored of this?" He asked you, his voice lowering, becoming softer, his eyes boring into yours. "I'm just trying to have a conversation with you."
"Well I don't fancy talking to you, so if you don't mind." You said, again moving to walk past him. He grabbed your arm, making you turn back to him. Your feet stumbled over themselves. "What, not used to being told no so you have to manhandle me?"
"That's not..." He said as he let go of your arm and sighed. "I don't get why you hate me so much when we don't even know each other."

"And what, you want to get to know each other?" You raised your eyebrows at him. He gave a one shoulder shrug, then the corner of his mouth started stretching into a half smile. "Not gonna happen. Even if you are stupidly gorgeous."
He tilted his head slightly.
"What was that?" He asked, and you felt your face go a bit warm. You shook your head. Then you felt his finger under your chin, and he was guiding your face up to look at him. "Did you just pay me a compliment?"
"I said stupid." You scoffed, slapping his hand away from you.
"There was another word after that." He grinned as his hand dropped. "Gorgeous."
"Oh I know I am, thank you." You teased, and his eyes flickered with something.
"Yes, you are."
You stared back at him, suddenly feeling a little self-conscious. Then your brain kicked in, and you hit him in the chest, the alcohol suddenly rushing over you.
"Stop being fucking annoying." You growled. "You and your stupid annoying face. I'll punch it so hard your stupid little friend won't even recognise you." You stomped away from him, down the hall.
Suddenly, you were spun around and pushed back against the wall, your mouth letting out a huff of air. He stood in front of you, his body so close to yours that you could almost feel the heat radiating off him, and you felt like you were breathing a bit heavier than usual.
"What about just your name?" He said, his eyes looking at you in such an intense way that it felt like he was looking at your soul. Honestly, if he wasn't the infamous Mr Freeze, he would be exactly your type. And you would have probably climbed him like a tree already. But the principle of knowing who he worked for and who he was, was overpowering that desire.
Well....it mostly overpowered it. Right now, his steely blue eyes were holding you under his gaze, and you let yourself slip for a second. Just a second though.
"What?" You said as you brought yourself back to reality.
"Your name. Instead of a conversation, just tell me your name."
"So you can doodle it in your little notebook?" You teased, but his smile just grew.
"Come on. Indulge me."
You held his gaze. You wondered if you should tell him. The way he said 'indulge me' made you want to tell him. But you had to admit, it was slightly more fun to mess with him. You half wanted to see how far he'd go.
"Well." You finally said, straightening your back and feeling the confidence rush through you, as well as a wicked idea. "If I'm giving you something, I'll need something in return."

"You already know my name."
"I'm not talking about your name." You mused, smiling as you looked up at him. You leaned up, your mouth moving closer to his ear. "There's something else I want."
You could feel his breath get a little heavier, hitting your neck as he exhaled. You pulled back, looking into his eyes as he stared back. He nodded once, making you want to grin. Too fucking easy.
"Amy." You offered. "Nice to meet you."
"Amy?" He smiled. "That's a nice name. And... what can I do for you in return?" He asked, sweetly, innocently, as he started to lean closer to you.
Not expecting your response at all.
"You can leave me the fuck alone." You snapped, pushing him away while his shock allowed you to move his giant body. You stomped down the hall, rolling your eyes at the absolute idiot you were leaving behind.
You got to the lab at 10.25pm, which was exactly when you had planned to. Tony would be at the party, and you had used the long route around the compound halls so that you wouldn't run into him. You went straight back into the storage room you escaped from, hoisted yourself up the vent and crawled back into the lab. Everything was exactly as you left it, and once you dropped yourself down, you reattached the vent door and snuck into your den.
You got ready for bed with a sense of accomplishment that you tricked the infamous Winter Soldier, whilst also tricking the infamous Iron Man, and knocking the Holy Captain America down a peg or two. All in a day's work.
You fell asleep quickly with absolutely no regrets.
You became aware of someone knocking on the door, and it took you a few seconds to realise that you needed to get up and answer it. You yawned as you walked over to the door, not even looking through the peephole before opening it and coming face to face with-
"Mr Barnes. Back again are we?" You snarked, but his eyes were thunderous, and you suddenly felt concerned.
"I don't appreciate being lied to." He growled, taking a few steps forward and making you walk back, away from him. He grabbed the door and shut it behind himself as he walked further towards you.
"What are you talking about?"
"You know exactly what I'm talking about. Don't fucking lie to me."
You squeaked as your back crashed into one of the lab tables, and he stopped directly in front of you. He was breathing heavily. So were you. But for different reasons. For the first time in a while, you were scared.
You hated being scared, so you did the first thing you could think of -
"What, can't handle being fobbed off so you thought you'd come and harass me?" You snapped. "Real tough guy moment."
He bared his teeth, like a wolf threatening its prey, and banged his metal hand onto the table beside you, making the sound crash through the room. You flinched a little.
"Why did you lie?" He asked, the anger seeping through his words.
"I don't owe you shit. Leave me alone."
"I'm not leaving until you're fucking honest with me."
"Well then set up a camp bed cos you'll be here for a long time." You retorted. It was petty, and weak. You knew it as soon as it came out of your mouth. But you crossed your arms and stood your ground either way. He watched you, then a wicked smile stretched over his lips.
"You already said one honest thing, so why not say some more?"
"What honest thing did I supposedly say?"
"That you think I'm gorgeous."
"Oh get over yourself. Someone can be hot and still be an asshole, and I could still want nothing to do with them." You scoffed as you tried to push past him, but he grabbed your arm and spun you back round, just like in the hallway. This time though, you ended up pressed against his chest. You struggled, but his grip was too strong. His eyes darkened with a different type of emotion this time.
"Gorgeous and hot? Better be careful doll, someone might think you have feelings for me."
"Pft, as if."
"Your body says otherwise." He muttered, making you freeze. He licked his bottom lip before continuing. "I can hear that your heart rate has shot up. You have a pink flush on your cheeks. Your chest is moving faster, which means your breathing has gotten heavier. And your body is pushing itself against me."
"I...that's ridic-" You stammered, trying again to pull your arm out of his, weakly.
"Stop lying to me." He growled, before using his free hand to grab the back of your neck and pull your mouth to his.
He kissed you. Bucky was kissing you. Hard. You humphed into his lips, trying to move away, but the hand on your arm moved around your back, and he anchored your body to his, so you had no chance of escape. He kissed you again. And again. You felt your stomach light up with electricity, as your body started to melt and your fingers started to tingle as they lay limply on his chest. His tongue swiped over your lip. You gasped, then what felt like lightning zipped through your brain.
You shot up in bed.
Eyes wide. Breathing fast. Fingers still tingling. You looked down at them as you panted.
What the fuck just happened?
