《All Our Flaws Are Aligned [COMPLETED]》Rebel

It took you three days to make a new arm. You worked through the nights, sleeping in two, three hour bursts and waking yourself up with coffee and sugary sweets. Tony worked alongside you most of the time. He tried to make you do the whole thing at first, as a form of punishment, but you knew he wouldn't resist working on it.
Especially when you kept purposefully making obvious errors that he just had to fix.
On the morning of the third day, when it was mostly done, but you were running on fumes, and you had finally had enough.
"I'm going to the breakroom." You announced. Tony froze in place. "For coffee." You explained.
"There's coffee here."
"It's shit coffee. I want caramel syrup."
"Watch your language missy."
"I'm going." You reiterated. He breathed as he regarded you.
"Ten minutes." He compromised. You grinned and bounded out of the lab, inhaling the fresh air as you went. You knew you were still in the building, but everywhere outside the lab just seemed to smell . You all but skipped up to the break room floor, and headed straight to the coffee counter, bouncing on your feet as you waited in line.
Then you caught onto the conversion in front of you. Two women, you had no idea who they were, gossiping excitedly.
"I just hope I can sneak a peek at him. I can't believe he's coming here!"
"It's been ages since last time, remember when we snuck into the training room and saw him all shirtless and sparring with Captain America?! God I could have just died!"
You frowned, listening in to their conversation.
"I mean, I get it, he's wayy out of my league. But I will never pass up a chance to see the God of Thunder in the flesh." One of the ladies continued.
Your eyes widened. Thor? Thor was coming?! Your excitement doubled, and you started fidgeting more as the ladies ordered their coffee. You wanted them to hurry up, so you could get back down to the lab, finish the arm, and either ask Tony for permission to see Thor, or sneak out and see him anyway.
Just as you finished placing your order, moving to the side to wait for it to be ready, you felt a presence behind you. You turned, and grimaced.

"What do you want?" You snapped as your eyes locked with Bucky's.
"I hear you're almost done with my arm." He replied, clearly ignoring the fact that you obviously didn't want to talk to him.
"Yeah. You can get rid of your shoulder condom thing soon." You teased as you turned back to the barista, who was handing over your coffee.
"Thanks." His voice sounded close, and you could feel his breath tickling your ear. "I appreciate it, seeing as you're the one that broke it."
You whipped round to him, wagging a finger at him.
"I did not break it. YOU broke it."
"You left it half done!" He argued back, but you just groaned and stormed off. He followed you, walking alongside you in long strides.
"What idiot doesn't know what a live wire is?" You scoffed. "You could have left it and Tony would have fixed it, but no, the almighty Winter Soldier does everything himself. Well now look what happened."
"Alright, I shouldn't have messed around with it. But you shouldn't have gotten angry and left halfway through."
"Maybe you should stop talking to me, I wouldn't get angry then."
"What have I ever done to you?" His voice sounded hurt, but it didn't affect you much.
You rolled your eyes, deciding not to answer that particular question. You flew through the doors leading to the lab, and it appeared that Bucky was following you the whole way. When you barged through the lab doors, a look of disdain on your face, Bucky right behind you, Tony had no idea how to process it.
"I...what...why do I keep finding you two together?" Tony asked with a frown.
"Beats me." You replied, sipping your coffee. "Cryo-Boy's the one who keeps finding me."
"Not on purpose, trust me." Bucky muttered. Then he turned to Tony. "You said it was almost ready?"
"Umm....yeah, just a few tweaks, but we can do that while it's on you if you want to try?" Tony said to him, gesturing to his shoulder. Bucky started unclipping the straps as you watched, leaning on the counter, not helping in any way, shape or form. Just sipping on your coffee, while Tony started fitting the arm into place.

"So I heard Thor is coming to the compound." You suddenly said, making Tony's hands slip a bit. Then he turned to you.
"No." Tony said sternly. You looked up at him, your eyes narrowed, your arms folded across your chest, and your shoulders tense, the absolute epitome of teenage tantrum.
"When is he coming?"
"You are not going." He said, louder, but looking back at Bucky's arm. You could see Bucky looking between you both in confusion.
"He's my friend, am I not allowed to see my friends?" You continued. "We will only be in the compound, and the compound is safe, isn't it? Or is your security protocol lacking?"
"My security is fine."
"Then I don't see what the issue is."
Tony got the arm attached to the plate, then dropped his hands. You could see him thinking. You could see him licking his lips and breathing deeply. Tony looked at you, finally, his jaw visibly clenched.
"You know what the issue is. You're not going. That's the end of it. Now, hand me the plasma cutter." Tony ordered, pointing to the tool next to your arm. You glared at him, then stomped off to your den.
From grilling FRIDAY (and hacking into her a little bit) you managed to figure out that Thor was coming on Thursday, which meant you had two days to plan your escape.
Thor knew about you. He knew who you were. Apart from Tony, Pepper and FRIDAY, he was the only other person that did. It was annoying that the only other human you could relax around, only popped in once every three or four months. But that meant that, when you knew he was going to be here, you definitely weren't going to miss the opportunity to hang out with him.
You knew Tony wouldn't be manipulated into a date night with Pepper, not now he knew you wanted to see Thor. But what you did know, was that if there was an , or some kind of a situation, on the other side of the complex for example....well that would make Tony leave to investigate. He would arm the security system he had on the lab (the one he didn't know you knew about), and then you could sneak out of your bedroom window which you had conveniently managed to take off the alarm router.
It was a 20 foot drop to the ground, but you'd done it countless times before, and knew how to not hurt yourself.
When Thursday rolled round, the compound rumbled slightly and there was a crack in the air as you and Tony were working in the lab together. He immediately looked at you, knowing that you knew the sound was signalling Thor's arrival.
"I know you wanna see him, kid, but you've already had one person discovering you in the last week. We have to be careful." Tony said, and you noted the hint of empathy in his voice. You felt a little bad about your plan.
"No worries." You said, smiling fakely up at him. "I get it. He'll come back in a few months anyway." You shrugged, putting your head back down to your work.
Tony didn't respond, and you could feel him still looking at you. Probably in shock that you were agreeing with him. You just hoped it wasn't too out of character that he would get suspicious.
The suspicion came later, two hours later, when there was a distant explosion and FRIDAY sounded an alarm.
"Mr Stark, it appears one of your suits is active." FRIDAY calmly spoke. Tony shot up.
"What?! How? Shut it down!" He yelled as he tapped on his little techy watch and scrambled to the door.
"I'm afraid I'm not able to. It doesn't seem to be connected to my system anymore." FRIDAY responded.
"Okay! Okay, secure this room, I'm on my way." He rushed before turning to you. "Stay here, and DON'T MOVE!" He warned before running out the door. The telltale click through the room told you that FRIDAY had put the 'child locks' on.
You smiled as you looked back at the device on your desk. A tablet, controlling the Mark 38 Iron Man suit in the garage, on an undetectable network. Silly Tony, not even seeing what's under his nose.
You grabbed the tablet, set up an autopilot for the next 30 minutes for the suit before coding a shutdown to the programme, and headed to your room, unlocking your window.
