[Nea's POV]

"Why didn't you go to the ice rink two tears ago?" My voice cracks as I look at him, hurt shows in my eyes.

Luke looks dumbfounded, "Ice rink? What are you talking about?"

I sigh, "I put a note in your locker two years ago, saying I wanted to meet you there. I waited for you for hours. I even texted you, called you."

"I didn't see any note, nor did I get any text or calls." Luke tries to remember something as he steps forward to me and I scoff as I put up a hand for him to stop.

"I swear to god, Aryn. I didn't get any of that." Luke genuinely say.

"I waited for you in the cold until night. Only to get a text and a picture of you having fun at a party." My voice cracking again.

Luke looks astonished, "Seriously Aryn, I'm so sorry, I swear I didn't know."

"I figured actually. I still texted you saying I will still wait for you here until you come, I even call you and you pick up only to listen, but no replies come from you." I remember the bad memory.

Luke sighs defeatedly as he rakes his hair to the back, "My phone is not with me that night. It's with.."

"Your girlfriend, Brie." I am trembling as I bit my lip. Luke looks at me with a confused expression, "Don't tell me that she.."

"She comes there, instead of you." I avoid Luke's surprise expressions, "And she brought along a few guys." Luke gasps and then his expressions turn angry.

My trembling was getting worse and Luke quickly hugs me tightly, "I'm so sorry, I didn't know any of this." Luke rubbed my back to calm me down, but I pushed him away.

"They beat me up, all over the body except for my face." I look at him and his face turns cloudy as his hand forms a fist.

"But, that's not what hurts me the most. The next day, I found you have left to University and without telling me anything. That led me to think of what Brie told me that night to be true." My eyes teary but there are no tears shed.

"What did she tell you?"

"That I mean nothing to you and a lot of mean things. And me of that time, definitely believe her."

"You know that's not true Aryn, you meant a lot to me and.."

"I can't think straight and your action contradicts what you say, Luke. I was having a hard time because of my family situation and you also... gone. My confidence plummets and I lost myself in the process." I choke on my words a little to prevent any sob.

Luke shakes his head and buries his head in his hand, "I didn't know about your situation or even those things. God, I am a bad childhood friend."

I wanted to say it's not his fault and it's my own fault, but I can't bring myself to comfort him.

Luke continues, "I tried calling you many times with my new phone after settling in. But, I can't reach you and all I know is that I lost you when I'm back at home. I try to find you those two years, but not any clue until we met that day." His tear escapes and I look astonished.

"I'm so sorry Aryn, I didn't know I ruined your life. I thought my action would protect you, but... I'm so sorry. Those guys, didn't do anything such as harming you in a.. you know" Luke trying to find my eyes.

"What if they did?"

He gritted his teeth and his jaw hardened, "I'll track all of them, including Brie and I'll make them pay for what they have done." His voice sounds full of threats.

"There's no need to do that Luke, they are not a threat to me anymore. I can fend for myself now."

"With what? Putting up a big wall so that no one can see or go through you anymore?! Is that what you call fend for yourself?" Luke sounded angry.

"As I said, It's none of your business." I am also angry so I turn away quickly.

"It is, you turn like that because of me Aryn." Luke walks up to me and he says slowly, "I hate to say it, but Adam truly cares for you and I could see his love for you because I.. He has rights for you, he's your husband. You should break your wall for him, and I wanted you guys to be happy."

"I know, but the problem lies with me, not Adam," I said and left Luke for real this time and he did not chase after me.

-----

I walk towards my dorm as I listen to my playlist, although my battery barely left and any second my phone will die empty. Suddenly there's a vibrate and I took it out from my jumper pocket to find Adam's name popped out and his smiling face covers my phone screen.

I smile and I slide accepting the call, "Hey..b.."

Adam cuts me off as he sounded cheerful, "Hey baby wifey, what are you doing?"

"Walking to the dorm. How about you?" I ask him as I stare at my feet, that's literally dragging me back to the dorm.

"Just finished my business meetings and, I miss you." Adam's word makes my heart beats wildly. I was about to say it back when my phone ding twice and it died.

"Oh come on! The timing's just right. Thank you so much!" I stomped my feet as I feel sad that I can't say it back, I rarely express my feelings so when I wanted to but I can't or there's something prevent it, I would feel totally disappointed.

I walk back devastatingly to the dorm and I didn't even bother to look at my surroundings. I bumped into a solid hard body and I quickly fix my spectacles that crooked due to the collision. I feel angry and I look up to get mad at that person, but my mouth agape, "Adam!"

He chuckles and he opens up his arms as he lifts his eyebrows playfully. I grin widely as I jump into his arms, making him staggers to the back, but he stands firm as he laughs, "Woah, easy there, tiger. I didn't know you missed me this much!"

I snuggle my face to his neck and he shivers to my actions, "I missed you so much!"

He put one hand on my shoulder and his other hand on my waist, tightening the hugs as he snuggles his face to my neck and kisses my shoulder which also makes me shivers to his touch. Only he can make me shivers in excitement and longing for him.

"I miss you more, baby." Adam doesn't want to lose and I laugh as I punch him and he acts as if he's hurt by it.

"Have you had dinner?" Adam cupped my face as he loosens the hug and I shake my head.

"Not yet, I didn't feel like eating," I said as I stare at his face, longingly. We rarely meet up since we're back from the break.

"Don't stare at me like that. I'm shy." Adam covers my eyes and I push his hand away.

"Shy? Seriously?" I ask in disbelief.

"No, it's not the right term. It's like you saw through me with those big blue eyes and it captivates me every time." Adam tilts his head and smiles.

God, I died every time he smiles.

"Your smiles captivate me every time," I said and he grins widely before he coughed and I can see his face and ears turn red. I touch his ears and teases him, "It's bright red!"

He grunts and quickly swooped me in his arms, picking me up in the air. His arm tightens on my thigh and I support myself to his shoulder.

He looks up and our faces are only inches away, "You're such a tease."

I cupped his face with my hand and I brush my lips to his. I can see his eyes widen as I initiate the kiss, but he replies the kiss in a second. My heart races loudly and I can also feel his own heart beating loudly and fast to our lips contact.

We both broke apart when we need air and Adam caress my cheek, which reddens by now to his touch, "Will you have dinner with me tonight?"

I laugh at his questions and I follow along, "I would love to. Lead the way, Mr. Clark."

He giggles, "Sure, this way Mrs. Clark." Adam intertwines our hand and both of us are smiling widely to each other.
