[Adam POV]

I kept on looking at my watch it's almost the time I am supposed to be in the wedding hall

"In a few minutes, in a few minutes, in a few minutes," I kept on repeating those words to calm my heart

I walk back and forth slowly in the groom's waiting room

"Someone's nervous" My sister, Sara jokingly teases me as she walks inside the room alongside my best friends Noah, William, Lucas, Alex and his fiancé, Leia which is also my cousin.

"Shut up" I snap at Sara not acknowledging her jokes which definitely amused others but not me.

"Chill man, she's only meant to make you ease a little. You look so tense man" Lucas defending Sara as usual.

William and Noah just nodding their head to shows their agreement to Lucas and Sara. While Alex and Leia just smiling to me which I found a bit annoying.

"Well, of course, I am, since I will be a married man in a few minutes and on top of that to a STRANGER!" I clenched my hand to a fist and look at the ceiling.

"Well you did have an agreement with mum about this, and it's actually a valid agreement isn't?" Sara started her speech which has been repeated again and again since the day it's decided that I have to marry this girl.

I mime her words silently and dropped to the sofa. I let out a big sigh and put my hand to my face.

Can I really do this? Marrying a girl whom I don't even know? Even her face was unknown? Who the hell did an arranged marriage without a picture of themselves? Mum is so trying to kill me, is she? Should I just run away? But I have made an agreement with mum about this, and I totally lost and I have no reason to retaliate.

"Don't even think of running away Adam." Leia ambushes my inner thoughts, she always knew what I thought of inside.

I stare into her eyes looking for an understanding, she didn't budge at all and I gave up and fell backward with a thud on the sofa.

"Man up, it's not the end of the world besides I've seen her and she's not that bad, instead.. she's better than Emily" Leia words attack me deep and hard with the mentions of her name, the one that made me lose this agreement with mum.

Sara agreed with Leia and nods hard to make me see it. The guys have been quiet since Leia speaks up, she's definitely an alpha. Sometimes I wonder how the hell did Alex fall for her, all of us are childhood friends and he definitely knows her well enough to avoid her instead of falling for her. Still, people said love blinds, and I've been there also to know that.

Mum and Dad walks inside arms in arms with a big smile "How's the groom? Has he tried to run away?" Mum provoke me with her bright smile. Dad just pats me on the shoulder channeling up the courage.

"It's time Adam, how're your vows? I bet it'll be brilliant" Dad trying to make me smile as he reaches my hand and gave a warm squeeze as he always did. I smile at him and gave an assurance nod.

I stand up to walk towards the door and take a deep breath along with it. My friends pat my back giving me all the courage I need as I walk towards the wedding hall.

Soon after I arrived at the wedding halls and I stand next to the wedding officiate. He asked me about my wedding vows and I answered him with a nod and a smile. A few minutes later the door at the end of the hall's opened and there she is the stranger, a bride of mine walking with her hands on top of her father's hand. Both of them are walking towards me and I saw her looking at the floor instead of me who's in front of her.

I take a glance at my family that is smiling at the front seat, and then at the boys who are behind me also smiling. I stepped down a bit to accept her hands from her father and I nods respectfully at him, Mr. Lee. He puts her hand in mine and gave a slow pat while saying "Please take good care of Nea, she's a precious daughter of mine".

"I will, Mr. Lee" I smile while taking her small hands in mine and walk together to the wedding officiate.

The wedding officiate starts to officiate our wedding and our hands are still intact with each other, luckily she wears gloves or else she will know that I'm nervous as hell since my palms sweating profusely.

I can't hear any of the words the officiants said until a gentle squeeze in my hand alarms me. I looked at her and our eyes met each other for a moment, I saw her blue eyes looking straight into my brown eyes. She shakes my hand a little bit to not make it obvious and I realize that the officiant has been calling my name a few times.

I nodded and both of us facing each other and then to the guests to read our wedding vows.

"On this day,

I take you to be my partner for life,

As we get to know each other,

Learning all about us,

I promise to live in truth with you

And to communicate fully and fearlessly,

I give you my hand and my heart

As a sanctuary of warmth and peace

And pledge my love, devotion, faith, and honor

As I join my life to yours."

As it ends, the wedding officiate announces us as husband and wife alongside with the cliché "Now you may kiss the bride". I flustered and faced her but again she didn't look at me in the eyes. I pull her chin up and our eyes met. As if the time suddenly been put in slow motion I cupped her face along with the veil and kiss her lips on top of it.
