The last time I was inside Marianne's house, we took each other's virginity's and her father chased me out with a fucking baseball bat while I was still in my boxers. Marianne and I laughed about it the next day but I never went back there.

Emily would've probably found that story funny but I felt like she'd also feel threatened by Marianne, who wouldn't? She was a looker.

"I wonder what goes through your head whenever you're quiet." Said Emily as we both stared at the booming mansion.

I glanced at her, she was in a yellow bikini top, jean shorts and Converse shoes, she looked sexy in everything.

"I'm thinking about you and me in your shower, having crazy, wild, very wet, loud sex." I responded.

She rolled her eyes but smiled so hard her cheeks turned red.

I snaked my arm around her waist and pulled her to my chest, "Please say yes?" I whispered in her ear.

"I really want to see Jared but how about we drink our asses off and have crazy drunken sex instead?"

I shook my head at her, "Are you saying that because you know I don't drink?"

"Kinda, c'mon." She held my hand and dragged me to the front door.

She was about to knock but then she paused, turning to look at me from head to toe.

"What?" I looked down at myself.

"You're dressed for the wrong party." She half laughed.

"No, I'm not."

"You are." She reached for the hem of my t-shirt.

"Emily-"

"Adrian." She responded playfully, I rolled my eyes and let her take the shirt off. "You look hotter without it anyway." Her eyes lingered on my chest as she hung my shirt on her shoulder.

"You're eye fucking me, again."

She bit the corner of her bottom lip and her eyes were on my face again, "My response might shock you so I'm gonna keep it to myself. Now how does this work? Do we knock?" She glanced at the door.

I sighed before opening the door and stepping inside.

The house was already crowded.

I always found it weird how Thornpark kids played dance music instead of rap music.

I held Emily's hand as we pushed through the half naked bodies. We made our way to the pool where there were even more people, filling up the pool, smoking pot, sniffing drugs, making out or maybe hooking up, some were just chatting.

"Emily!" Someone shouted, we looked at the same time and saw her loud friends waving.

"Be right back." She kissed my lips and rushed towards them.

Great.

I looked around the place for Jared but he was nowhere in sight.

I suddenly felt someone's fingers trailing the tattoo on my back, I closed my eyes and cursed my life.

It was definitely going to be someone I once hooked up with. I turned around and found Marianne smiling at me, she was in a red bikini and her blonde hair was damp which brought out her baby blue eyes.

She was a looker.

"Adrian Mackey." She smirked, eyeing me from head to toe.

"Marianne... What's your last name again?" I asked, curiously pointing at her.

"Asshole." She punched my shoulder playfully and we both laughed, Then my back became heavy like those eyes were watching me.

And like the universe was telling me you're so fucked, Marianne wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me, I just patted her back because well, she was watching.

"Uhm, Adrian, there's a girl looking at us like she's about to murder one of us." She pulled away and laughed.

I didn't have to turn and look in order to know who it was.

"Her name's Emily." I said, smiling.

She raised her brows at me, like it was actually shocking to her.

"Emily?" She pointed at the tattoo on my chest, "Are you guys smashing?"

"Dating and smashing, yes." I chuckled.

"Dating?" She gasped dramatically, "You're joking right?"

"No, I'm a human being, human beings tend to do that."

"Yeah but remember sophomore year? Right before you and I-"

"Yeah, I know what I said but she changed my mind." I shrugged. She stared at me suspiciously and amused for some reason.

"What did she do to burst your bubble?" She was now curious.

"She didn't even try to burst my bubble, it just happenend." I said.

"Wow, I wanna meet her." She tried walking passed me but I grasped her arm.

"No, we're not doing that." I shook my head in disapproval.

"Why not?"

"She asks a lot of shit, it's very annoying." I said honestly, she smiled.

"I don't mind." She lifted her shoulders.

"I do." I responded.

"What? You scared I'm gonna tell her about the time my father kicked you out half naked?" She asked, laughing at the memory.

"We don't talk about that and no, I just don't want to make her feel uncomfortable." I sighed, pushing my hair back.

"You would have led with that." She pursed her lips, "C'mon, I wanna know more about this Emily." She started walking around the pool, to where the drinks were, I followed.

I felt my phone buzz in my pocket, I pulled it out and read a text from Emily.

I smiled at the screen and didn't reply, I just shoved my phone back in my pocket and looked at Emily from across the pool, she was glaring, I shrugged my shoulders and brought my attention back to Marianne.

I knew that killed her.

Marianne extended a red cup in front of me.

"I don't drink." I shook my head.

"Oh." She took a sip, "Do you want me to get you something else?" She asked.

By something else, she meant drugs.

"No, I'm good." I assured her and she smiled at me, looking amused yet again.

"So do you love her?" She turned to face in Emily's direction.

I tensed at her question which didn't have an answer, it was at times like these that I wished I took alcohol, cause I definitely would have had a sip, a very long sip.

She turned to look at me when I didn't respond, "Adrian, please don't tell me you haven't told her you love her."

"Well it's not exactly easy when you don't even know what love is."

"Has she said it to you?"

"Yep, three times."

"You're even counting? Wait, so you didn't say it back all three times?" She widened her eyes at me.

"Nope." I took the cup from her hand and had that long shot after all.

It didn't taste like shit.

"Hey, guys!" Jared came from nowhere, swinging his arms around our shoulders and squeezing us into him.

"Hey, skinny!" Marianne patted his chest and grinned up at him.

"Uhm, rude, I've been working out lately, I'm so glad you've noticed, Marianne." He said to her before turning to look at me with a subtle smile, "I missed your ignorant ass." He said, I rolled my eyes and grabbed another cup from the table.

"I definitely didn't miss you." I drained the liquid down my throat.

"You sure do chug a lot for a person who doesn't drink." Said Marianne.

"I drink when I'm stressing." I put the cup down on the table and looked at Jared's hand which was still wrapped around my shoulder, he noticed the look and removed it but still kept the other one on Marianne's shoulder.

"Where's Emily?" He asked.

"Somewhere." I responded, looking at the table and debating on whether or not I was about to go full time alcoholic.

Then I felt a tap on my shoulder, I looked and found Emily standing there with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Speak of the devil." Jared eyed her from head to toe, I glared at him.

"Good to see you too, Jared." Her tone sounded rude, "Can we go? I'm bored." She looked back at me.

"Bored?" Marianne asked, looking around the place.

Nothing about that party looked boring.

Emily looked at Marianne, plastering a fake smile, "Yes, bored. I mean, all I see is rich bitchy girls trying to hit on other people's boyfriends and that certainly bores the shit out of me." She said calmly.

Ah, here we go.

I grabbed another cup and had a sip.

Marianne chuckled while exchanging a glance with Jared, I took a deep breath and tried not to smile at the whole jealous-Emily thing.

"Sorry, I don't think we've met. I'm Marianne." She extended her hand in front of Emily, Emily looked at the hand with her arms still folded over her chest.

"I'm Emily, Adrian's girlfriend." She pointed out, without shaking Marianne's hand.

Marianne glanced at me with that amused look before she said something so very uncalled for.

"Well, since we're introducing each other like that, then I guess I should be saying, I'm Marianne, Adrian's first."

Jared snorted a laugh, I just buried my nose in the red cup as I felt Emily's burning gaze on the side of my face.

"Nice to meet you, you're not what I imagined, I was expecting Kardashian booty." I heard Emily respond after a few seconds, I literally chocked on my drink, Jared laughed, clearly enjoying everything.

Marianne looked at me, clearly offended by the comment.

"Wow, Adrian, you forgot to mention your girlfriend was such a jealous bitch." She said snidely, Emily took a long stride towards Marianne, ready to snatch her eyeballs out. I wrapped my arm around her waist and held her back, she tried to break free but I tightened my grip.

I didn't even know what was happening, was she like trying to fight Marianne?

"Let go of me!" She demanded, gritting her teeth.

Marianne picked a cup and raised it in the air like she was giving a toast.

"It was nice seeing you again, Adrian." She said before turning around and walking away from us, Jared shook his head amusing at Emily before walking passed us.

I released her and she immediately started walking towards the exit, angry walking out the exit.

Goddamn it.

I didn't rush after her, I took my time knowing that I drove us there and she would be outside, waiting for me.

And after taking one last drink, I decided to go out and as soon as I walked out the door, she was there, leaning against my car.

Smoking?

"Wow." I clapped my hands, seriously impressed by whatever she was about to do to Marianne, "Didn't know you had it in you." I stood in front of her, she released a puff of smoke and it hit my face, I snatched the joint from her fingers and threw it on the ground.

"Care to explain?" I asked, she glared at me before doing the worst thing a girl could ever do to a guy.

She placed her cold hands on my bare shoulders and she kneed me. HARD.

FUCKING HELL.

I bend over, holding my junk over my jeans.

"You fucking psycho BITCH!" I shut my eyes.

God that hurt.

"Hurts, doesn't it?" She chuckled.

CHUCKLED!

"What's wrong with you?" I looked up at her.

"I love you. that's what's wrong with me." She responded, "Oh, it was nice seeing you again, Adrian." She mimicked Marianne's tone, rolling her eyes. "Fucking pathetic."

"Is that why you had to hit me right in the dick? That's low and quite sad."

"Adrian's first? How ridiculous." Her tone with a strong hint of Jealousy.

I stayed still for a few more seconds.

"I want a divorce." I said, attempting to stand up straight as the pain started to fade.

"We're not married, dumbass."

"Okay, so will you marry me so I can divorce you?" I asked.

She rolled her eyes, "I hate you." She said, looking at my chest with gleam in her eyes.

"I can see just how much you hate me, Emily." I responded sarcastically.

"So, shower sex?" She seemed to have gotten over the jealous phase.

"Yes ma'am." I fetched my keys out of my pocket and she smiled. I kissed her smile.
