"Morning girls!" I bellowed as soon I stepped in the kitchen which was only occupied by my besties. They were already fully clothed while I was still on my pajamas. Carter was still taking a shower and I couldn't find the boys.

"Wild night?" Lila arched a perfect eyebrow as I blinked to adjust my sleepy view.

"Huh? How-?," I stuttered as pink covered my cheeks. My friends quietly chucked and I crossed my arms with a questioning look on my face...

We weren't that loud...were we?

"Here's your coffee!" Maddie winked at me and held my hot cup of coffee.

"I'm seriously under Carter Knight's spell. He's so..." I trailed off and let my mind wander on last night and how unbelievably flawless it was.

"We kind of felt it coming....you know it's hard to miss how bright your eyes become when he is around or how happy you are when he's at your side. You're both so cute... ,"Nicole admitted as she smiled at me.

I was about to reply when Sawyer entered the kitchen and shouted: "Hi girls! Fuck...whoever made pancakes I love you!!!,"he instantly filled his mouth with a fresh pancake and sat next to Lila. Vaughn entered the room a few seconds later without a good morning or such and headed to the fridge.

"Do we have plans for today?" Lila asked and took a gulp of her hot coffee.

"Well we could go to the lake? It's hot outside. Did you take your bathing suit?" Sawyer innocently asked as he licked his fingers clean. The girls and I nodded and we heard Vaughn unclasp a can of Red Bull and curse under his breath.

"Morning!!" Carter and Nate finally joined us and we starting chatting about today's plans which included going to the lake.

"Or maybe they could go to town and do their fucking nails or whatever the fucking boring shit bitches do to fulfill their shitty days. So they can fucking leave us the fuck alone for once." Vaughn proposed and all of sudden Carter got up from his chair and punched Vaughn straight on his face. We all held our breath as Vaughn looked at Carter with pure hatred in his gaze.

"I thought I was clear last night? I don't condone this fucking bullshit of yours, Vaughn Bates. If you can't behave like a fucking man I suggest you to leave and never come back...you don't want to play this game." Carter said menacingly and Vaughn's nose started bleeding. He pushed Carter out of his way and left the room without further explanations. A few seconds of silence filled the kitchen before we heard a car roar to life.

"He should probably try to get his dick wet...he must need it because he has been acting strangely." Nate joked, breaking the uneasy silence.

We spent the entire day at the lake creating new memories. The lake was amazingly beautiful and the water was perfect to swim, we pic nicked and had fun. We hadn't gotten any news from Vaughn and the boys didn't seem to mind or worry about it.

At 6pm we headed back home and the boys went straight to their bedrooms to take a shower. Maddie and Lila headed to the kitchen to prepare something to eat as Nicole and I tried to find a good movie to watch.

" Fuck no!!," I heard Lila from the kitchen.

"Is everything ok?," I shouted before joining Maddie and my other friend.

" We have only alcohol to drink... I forgot we drank all the juice and water yesterday!," Lila explained while Maddie looked all around the kitchen.

"There's a small supermarket in town...we could go and buy some drinks?," Nicole proposed and I nodded.

"Yes! That's a good idea. I'm gonna take Carter's car keys and we can go!," I speed- walked to my bedroom and noticed that my boyfriend was still taking his shower so I didn't bother him. After stealing his keys, Nicole and I headed out.

"Are your parents still in London?,"I asked my British friend as she stared without blinking at the windshield.

"Oh! Yes...they are. "She replied and gulped almost in fear.

"Are you ok?."I demanded.

"Faster! We've been followed since we left!," She yelled and my heart skipped a beat. I looked at the rear-view mirror and saw a black car, I speeded and the car followed.

"Call Carter!" I shouted as sweat covered my pores. She reached for my phone and typed my code before dialing Carter. I couldn't take my eyes off the rear-view mirror as the car raced toward us at full speed.

"Carter we need—Elle!!!! Stop!," Nicole shouted at the top of her lungs and I noticed a deer standing in the road, she escaped her death but our car met a tree. The airbags exploded and blur invaded my eyesight.
