《King of The Vamps》Prologue

As a child, she had always heard the make-believe stories. The ones about witches, and vampires, and werewolves, and goblins. No one actually believed in those stories. How could such mythical creatures be real? But what if they were real?
Amaryllis Tait Westbay never believed those stories, not even when her older brother Luca tried to scare her. As she got older, she enjoyed reading the fictional romance novels based on supernatural creatures, but she still never believed. Bloodsucking creatures that looked like humans with blazing red eyes were simply not real in her mind. However, Amaryllis could not have been farther from the truth.
Ulric Nixon Posillico had been the King of the vampires for three centuries. He took the throne on his twenty-fifth birthday, the time in which royal vampires stop aging. The non-royal or regular vampires stopped aging on their twenty-third birthday. His parents had ruled for four centuries before he obtained power, but they wished to step down and spend more time with each other.
For two hundred years, no one in his kingdom had seen even the slightest form of a possible smile. Ulric was an emotionless, stone cold, hard man. He had only cared for a select few people in his life, and even that number had dwindled over the years.
His kingdom loved him and respected him, but never talked back or disobeyed for they wanted to continue living. He was a powerful and vicious man, feared but held to high respect by all. Ulric protected his people and would lay down his life to protect them if needed. No one would ever be strong enough to kill Ulric though, for he was the vampire king.
As the years went by, his aggravation toward past wounds manifested themselves into a dark, twisted reality. He couldn't be bothered to love or take interest in another.

His violent tendencies grew and so did his anger. He took his anger out on humans, a species Ulric believed to be weak and inferior to vampires. Soon his empire had grown all over the world and the vampires had taken over.
The humans were treated awfully by the vampires. They were given strict laws to live by and if they disobeyed, a vampire would love to drain the blood from their body. All the humans in the world were forced to live in small towns around the countries. They were forced to live in such small towns in order for the vampires to keep them contained and under their control.
Once a year, the vampire king went around the United States - that is where the Kingdom is based - to a different town. He gathered all girls from ages sixteen to twenty-four from the town. The girls were forced to stand in a line, while the King observed them to decide who he would pick. He would pick the girls he deemed best to be his servants, whether that be a cook, a cleaner, a farm hand, a blood source for royals, or his own personal plaything. No girl that was picked ever came back.
Now it is Amaryllis' turn. She is a very sheltered and innocent eighteen-year-old girl. Ever since the vampires had taken over when she was eight, her father had kept her under strict house arrest. Amaryllis did not have a problem with that though, as she didn't want to be outside where the bloodsuckers could get her. But now that the king has come, there is not much she can do to stay away from them.

8 170Those You Don't Notice
A what would you do situation. VRMMORPG this is my what would I do in this situation. A realistic VRMMORPG came out boasting a 90% realism. Quests are made to suit your character and actions. Everything you do is up to you. A free reign universe, multiple destructible or create- able worlds. Even worlds that can be Terra- formed. This is the story of me the author and what I would do if given the opportunity to partake in such an adventure.
8 90Those Zombies Again
One day Sam wakes up in a world full of zombies and tries to survive.PSFirst of all i would not recommend this novel if you haven't read like hundred of novels already. Its pretty weird and depressing novel. This story is told almost completely from MC point of view. Third person.MC is a pretty ugly random guy with different psychological problems. He is antisocial and limited person.Lore - Since MC is limited and barely interested in people or just surroundings, you will get pretty limited descriptions on stuff, it was meant to be like that.Characters - Obviously for the same reason, you will not see much characters, usually you wont get their description or even names.Fights - I personally hate those fights in novels which take like few chapters to describe some shitty encounters. For example MC is making his "move" and then you get half chapter of description of his thoughts and the ways his face is looking, and the way like his opponent surprised and the way crowd is reacting and so on. I really hate all that shit so fights in this novel will be described not that often, only if an equal or a new opponent, and only in a strict and straightforward way, no bullshit. Now this novel is not exactly fantasy, its more like grim realistic-fantasy.But i will have to explain what i mean. Lets take rape in most novels as an example. Usually MC will be justified to rape a girl one way or another. Common example is aphrodisiac. Or the girl were trying to kill him so he had to "punish" her. Or she just happened to jump on his thing and then after rape she become his girlfriend etc, Those are examples of "fan service" in novel. So MC would be justified and readers woun't feel too uncomfortable to read something like that.So there is no "fan service" in this novel, like at all. You will have to read some stuff that will make you feel uncomfortable and you woun't like it.Common sense also means that there is barely gonna be any "random" events which MC is gonna be part of. No treasures and superpowers he founds because he is "special". He will not meet antagonists on his way. This novels world will not spin around MC in any way. He will usually sit in his deep cave and no one around will give a damn about him or even know of his existence. So this novel is not for you to have fun and enjoy reading. Not to make you feel comfortable, satisfied or happy. Its probably the opposite. There are some standards which novel usually sticks to in order to become popular. Obviously i did not meet those standards at all.
