Chapter Eighteen : Dangerous/Safe

5am

In the middle of the night, Jungkook woke up suddenly when he felt a slight pain down his neck knowing right away that he wasn't in his bed, usually he'd walk to his room but there's something stopping him from that.

The man opened his eyes in the middle of the night, and he wasn't alone. He turned his face a little to find you sleeping next to him, Your head resting on his chest while his arms wrapped around you, you two were cuddling in the couch, both tired and asleep.

The man stopped breathing for seconds, He liked it, The feeling of you near him. Jungkook liked it.

This feeling is so strange; it stretches throughout his whole body. It's overwhelming, The man felt as though he's in a dangerous fire, yet he's completely safe at the same time, Dangerous in the way his mind is telling him whatever this is, is wrong. You weren't his real wife, you weren't his girlfriend and definitely you weren't a person he wanted to start something new with, That will be wrong. Yet in the same time it's safe, Because the feeling is giving him peace, he feels so light as if nothing actually matters now, as if he's forgetting everything.

Jungkook painfully smiled when recalling the day before, How you smiled and made him follow you everywhere, You made him try new things he never imagined he'd do but what happened in the morning made him sighed.

'Honestly Jungkook, I thought you'll be uncomfortable.' 'I mean we live together and all but I shouldn't invade your privacy.'

Jungkook understood what you meant and you were totally right, You both are fresh out of a relationship and not just a relationship, a one that almost lead you both of marry a different person.

He sighed and tried to stand up from the couch, If you woke up any second you'll obviously get uncomfortable with him so he gently moved his arm from your body and pushed himself away but then he froze when you groan from the sudden loss of the warm feeling and pulled him back to you, this time you grabbed on his shirt afraid he'll leave. Well, of course you didn't know what you were doing but it sure made the man's heart race.

Fuck it.

Jungkook lay there with you caged in his arms, he closed his eyes and drown in the dream land again.

You tried to move but couldn't. Unwillingly, You opened your eyes to find where you were stuck. As you did,you felt something around your waist. Closing your eyes again and tried to come to your senses. Waking up from sleep fully, You opened your eyes and on the next second,Your eyes widened when you found yourself in Jungkook's arms.

How did we end up like this?..........

You thought and pulled your hand away from his back and tried to move but he pulled you closer and straighten on couch while taking you with him. you looked at yourself and him. You were on his chest.

Your cheeks heated up when you saw yourself like this. You tried to free myself but he was holding you so strangely in his arms that you couldn't move, biting your lip and knowing your face was crab red you tried to calm down.

The man seems in a deep sleep, It was wrong yet you felt good.

Smilingly, you rested your head on his chest and wrapped your arms around him to listen his heart beat. For few seconds,you keep listening his heart beat and then again tried to move but he turned to left side with you in his arms, As he turned, your breath stuck in your chest because he dipped his face in your neck and his hot breath start teasing you.

"J....Jungkook." you tried to move him but he snuggled more in you and his hand ran on you belly making me close your eyes as the sensations start filling up your body. You went totally frozen as his heated lips touched your neck, you held the blanket tightly in your fist to stop yourself from making any noise. He didn't know what he was doing to you unintentionally.

I opened my eyes and slowly, taking a deep breath, you finally realized what was happening, you pushed his hand away from your waist and tried to move but again he tried to stop you.

You knew it's gonna be awkward if you kept giving up, so..........

" JEON JUNGKOOK.." You shouted and pushed him away aggressively making him fall down from the couch landing on his back.

" YAAAAAA WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU? "he shouted back and rubbed his back " What's with the barbarous behavior in the good morning?"

You held the blanket over your body and glared at him " Why are we here? Did you make me sleep with you? Pervert ...." you rolled your eyes when he stand up.

" Well I am sorry to tell you this but you were the one who came and slept over my chest." He throw a pillow toward you.

" I.....d...didn't." You looked away, Your cheeks were still red " I tried to push you away many times but you were pulling me back, I DIDN'T SIGN UP TO BE YOUR TEDDY BEAR." with this you stood up throw back the pillow on him and run toward the bathroom leaving the man smiling though the back and neck pain you caused.

Jungkook lay back on the couch and closed his eyes again thanking God it was Sunday and he still has the time to rest.

After taking a shower, you wore your clothes and walked toward the living room only to find Jungkook confused on his video game cursing and shouting at the characters as if they can hear him.

You shook your head in disappointment but smiled at his silliness " I am going out." you announced and he immediately paused and looked at you.

"Where?" He asked " Can I come? "

" Huh? " You blinked and shook your head "I will meet Soyeon and of course you can't come.."

" Why? " He whined " I swear I won't bother you just take me with you pleaseeeeeeeee." He put down his controller and begged.

You laughed and put the scarf around your neck " Jungkook stop being a child, I am gonna meet a friend...Have lunch, go shopping and most importantly we'll talk ...... girls talk, why would I take you with me? "

The man sighed and looked away then back at you ..... panicked " W...what am I supposed to eat if you're having lunch with her?" he whined again.

What's wrong with him?

Where's the cool lawyer?

" I don't know Jungkook, Just order or something.....I mean do exactly what you were doing before i came to live here, okay? " You smiled and walked to grab your watch from the table next to him.

" I don't r....remember." He pouted cutely making it almost irresistible for you to handle. and what you did next was something you never .......ever though you'd do.

" Oww you're so cute.." You leaned down pinched his cheeks before you two froze.

Realizing what you have just done, you swallowed hard and looked away immediately " Ammmm I am leaving."

Jungkook just blinked his eyes confused while watching you leaving the house, he touched his cheek... where you had just pinched him and then smiled like an idiot and start laughing with himself.

" AAAhhh I am gonna kill myself." You faked a cry " I am so stupid...." Soyeon laughed while watching you whine and hitting your head on the table after telling her what happened with the two of you.

" I think it's so cute and romantic......AAhhhhh" She looked up daydreaming when you slapped her head.

" Romantic my ass." You glared at her "He's not my boyfriend Soyeon Ah , it's not good.."

" Why not? " She looked at you " You two are married yet in the same time you're both single, Don't you think it was fated that you two will meet and fa----------YYaaaaa STOP HITTING ME." She shouted when you hit her head for the second time today.

" WELL SHUT UP." You glared at her not caring about the stares people were giving you. "Don't make me think of those stuff weeks after my shit of fiance cheated on me." You sighed and grabbed a bite of the bread next to you." I am not stupid anymore, I won't give my heart to the first man who will be nice to me."

Soyeon sighed " Don't judge Jungkook I say.... That's it."

" I am not judging him I am just not ready.......and..... He has a ....g..girlfriend" You bite your lips and sighed again.

"You said he told you that he broke up with her." She asked confused.

You nodded and looked at your friend " He did.....but I don't quit believe that, His situation isn't the same as mine. I am pretty sure once the misunderstanding will be clear he'll get back to her..... His friends are friend with her too so I am sure they'll help them doing that."

And when that happen, You won't have a choice but to move out.

Your phone vibrated again, another message you received.

Jungkook had been texting you the whole time saying stuff like...

Soyeon watched as you unlocked the phone and checked the message.

" My god..." You smiled

You chuckled and took a picture of the food in front of you then replied to him.

With a last smile you put the phone down and grabbed the soda glass to take a sip but you were stopped with an electric stare from Soyeon making you swallow " W....What?"

" You're not ready huh? " She glared at you " You already fall for him bitch."

You blinked twice then shook your head " W-what? No.... that's not true."

" Yeah yeah.....the last time you texted someone back while you're with me with a smile was in ...........Mmmmm twenty........-never " She sighed " I have been watching you since the morning Y/N, Your face is lighting up every time you receive a text from him, Are you sure you don't feel anything toward him?"

You swallowed.....hard. " Oh shut up Soyeon ah..." you rolled your eyes " Of course I don't, he's a friend .... I won't be rude to a person open his house for me to stay, I had to text back.... "

Soyeon placed her elbow on the table and her chin in her hand and stared at you, didn't talk but just stared at how you confused on your food ignoring her.

The girl sighed " Okay, whatever you say."

You heard the phone vibrating again but this time you didn't want to check, true you felt bad but Soyeon was watching.

After lunch, you welt with Soyeon to the mall because she wanted to buy a new dress. Her boyfriend is coming to Seoul next week.

we two walked around and talked, laughed and sometimes hit each other until it was around 4 in the afternoon when you decided it's time to go home.

" I am home." You said as soon as you entered, looking around the living room Jungkook was nowhere to be found.

When you thought he was probably is his room or out with his friends you heard the door of the bathroom slamming so automatically walked toward the hallway only to see a Zombie.

Well........Not exactly a Zombie, There was Jungkook looking as pale as a ghost, his face sweaty and lips turning blue, Just from looking at the man's face it was obvious that he was in a lot of pain.

" J....Jungkook, are you okay? "You run toward him watching as he stumbled to the corner of the hallway.

"Oh...Y..you're h..here!" before he could say something else, his hand gripped his stomach and his eyes went wide and wild as waves of heat coursed through his blood and a cold sweat glistened in his gaunt features.

The man didn't wait another second before he run back to the bathroom locking it before you can follow him.

His stomach tightened and ached all the more. he kept swallowing, and his throat kept clenching, but no matter what he could not stop the warm feeling rising through his chest, he throw up everything and retched until all was left was clear stomach acid that burned his throat.

Hearing everything, you panicked " Jungkook ? " You knocked on the door " Jungkook please open the door, are you okay? "

" I...F....fine."You heard his faint voice saying behind the door then again hearing his groan of pain.

Worried you ran your hand through your hair, teeth tugging at your lower lip " JEON JUNGKOOK OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR..." You snapped and knocked hard on the door until he opened it.

You looked up at his weak looking eyes, You glanced at him, your eyes tight and worried " What happened?"

"N....Nothing, just stomach ache " He gripped his stomach in pain again and turned to the sink again holding both sides and coughed.

You run behind him as he throw up for God knows how many times. "What happened ? Did you eat something bad?" you patted on his back gently

" I d-don't know " He breathe in and out, you walked next to him and opened the water tube, when the water comes running you used your hands to wash his face, the man closed his eyes when you did that.

" How many times you vomit ? "You asked feeling your heart aching, suddenly feeling guilty that you weren't here earlier.

" About six or seven times.....I don't know." Jungkook took a deep breath again, You made him sit down at the chair next to the bathtub.

" Jungkook that's so bad " Your eyes softened while looking at him, your gentle hand caressed his cheek " You just ate the pizza? or something else ? "

He closed his eyes again and paused a little before answering back " Also Ramen, two or three pear and the yogurt that was beside the sink---"

"WHAT?" Your eyes widened " Those were expired, I moved them out of the fridge to throw them away."

" And how the hell I know?" He rolled his eyes "I only get inside the kitchen since you came to live here." you watched as he gripped his stomach again.

You bite your lips "Still in pain?"

" N..Not much.." He closed his eyes then opened them to look up at you, Your eyes showed the kind of gentle concern Jungkook has only seen once......From one person.

His mother.

You laid your hand lightly on his shoulder " I think it's better if you go to the hospital, You'll be fine after a stomach lavage, you said you have an important trial tomorrow.." You spoke with such a soft voice that Jungkook felt that your words were calming him more by the way they were said than the actual words. It felt as if he was wrapped in a blanket of your caring. The man almost forget the pain in your eyes, he wanted to keep looking at you but another wave came out.

Jungkook didn't even realize how he followed you to the hospital and now he was already laying in one of the beds in the emergency room, empty stomach and an I.V drip attached to his arm.

" You okay now?" You asked for the thousand times.

Jungkook laughed "Can I ask you a question?" He smiled and looked at you, you nodded. " Do you curse every time there's a patent or something?"

"Huh?"

" you know....' JEON JUNGKOOK OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR' sort of things" He imitates you in a funny way making you slap his leg playfully.

" I don't sound like that." You rolled your eyes.

" I don't sound like that." He imitates you again and roared with laughter.

" Shut up." You glared at him.

" Shut up."

" Jeon Jungkook stop being a child." You sighed

" Jeon Jungkook stop being a child."

" You're not gonna stop? " you threatened him

" You're not gonna stop? " He teased over again.

" I love you."
