" Babygirl you need to calm down , all dat stress ain't good for the baby." Pablo said rubbing my back as we sat in the waiting room waiting for the doctor to come and give us feedback, Leonardo has been in surgery for 4 hours now.

" He's right Mandy ! The stress isn't good for baby pooh . " De'arra said kneeling before me, moving my hair from my wet face.

" I can't help but stress, they've been working on him for 4 hours, 4 HOURS D." I said crying harder and Pablo pulled me into his arms. I'm so grateful that him and De'arra were here with me because there still seems to be tension between me and Mia, she hasn't said a word to me the whole night .

" You guys should go and check on Mr Diablo." I said wiping tears from my now swollen eyes. Mr Diablo was shot in the leg twice, he had surgery to remove the bullets.

" Okay but I'll be back again to check up on you." De'arra said before kissing my forehead.

" No it's fine, you guys can go home. I'll be fine." I let out a small smile .

" But promise to call us if you need something even if it's to accompany you to the bathroom. " Pablo said and I chuckled before going into his open arms.

" I promise P , thank you for putting your differences with Leonardo aside and being here for me. " I said sighing and he kissed the top of my head before pulling away.

" You too D , thank you babe ." I said pulling her into a hug and squeezing her tight .

" Girl you know I'll always be there for you with your fine ass baby daddy. " she said winking after pulling away from the hug and I simply just chuckled at her before nudging her.

" Goodnight babygirl ." Pablo said taking De'arra's hand and I waved at them before they headed towards the elevator .

" Your friends care about you." Mia spoke for the first time ever since we arrived at the hospital.

" Yes ." I said simply before going back to my previous seat.

" You're lucky to have them." she said nodding, her face red and swollen.

" Yea, I'm grateful ." I said fidgeting with my fingers. Minutes went by before she spoke again.

" I wish I had friends like that ." she said barely above a whisper but I heard her. It breaks my heart that she feels lonely, surely our friendship meant more than our stupid little misunderstandings.

" You have me Mi ." I said softly standing up and sitting next to her. She looked at me for a minute before taking my hand into hers.

" Amanda I-- " Mia was cut off by the doors of the elevator opening and her family coming out. She instantly stood up and ran into her father's arms sobbing. I awkwardly scratched the back of my head avoiding eye contact, I hope they're not mad at me for keeping the pregnancy away from their son.

" Calm down baby and tell us what happened ." Mr Reigns said rubbing Mia's back. Mia started explaining to her family what took place 5 hours ago, we'll I'm assuming she was because she was talking in Italian so I didn't hear shit she said .

" No, no, no, no, no . " Mrs Reigns said dropping to her knees crying her eyes out , Luciano rushed to her side and wrapped his arms around her. Mr Reigns furiously punched one of the paintings that hung in the hospital hallway while yelling in Italian. Mason wrapped his arms tightly around Mr Reigns , restraining him and Mia sobbed in Rita's arms . Leonardo has to survive this , he'd be breaking a lot of people's hearts if he didn't . I quickly wiped the tears that were running down my face while looking at my growing baby bump . Leonardo better not leave me to do this on my own , my family isn't talking to me, probably under the influence of my father and the Reigns pretty much have their own lives, I can't guarantee their involvement in my child's life and De'arra and Ken have their own lives too so I was basically on my own and that scares me.

I was the first one to see the doctor approaching so I quickly stood up.

" Uhmm... the doctor ." they all rushed to my side when the notice the doctor coming.

" How is my son Doctor ? "

"How is my brother ?"

"How is he Doctor ? "

" Is he awake ? "

" Is he alive ?"

Everyone said at the same time, the doctor's eyes widen before telling the family to calm down and let him speak and everyone instantly went quiet.

" We were able to remove the bullets and stop the bleeding in time but I can't lie, the bullets did some damage but fortunately one of the bullets hit his rib missing his lung by an inch, he's a lucky man because one of the bullets also missed a nerve but it did hit his shoulder blade . He is alive but he's in a very critical state, he's in the ICU now. We did all we can, it's now up to him to fight for his life . " the doctor said sympathetically while looking at the state the family was in. I slowly walked backwards , zoning everyone out before turning and leaving the room.

Leonardo don't you dare leave me alone.

I turned a few corners before arriving at the chapel, I went through the doors and walked down the aisle . I dropped to my knees when I reached the statue of Jesus on the cross that was placed at the front. I dipped my fingers in the little bowl of water that was placed in front of the statue and made a cross on my forehead.

" In the name of the father, the son and of the holy spirit . Father I humbly come before you asking for mercy , I know Leonardo is undeserving of your mercy and grace because of the way he lives his life but please allow me to apologize on his behalf father . I know we barely have a conversation me and him, we never agree on anything, we argue about the smallest things but i l-I-love him father and I want to raise this baby with nobody but him. God please forgive him for his sins , I know I'm asking for a lot but please spare him his life, I beg father . You already blessed us with our little baby , don't take it's father away from her / him. You gave Leonardo a chance of being a father again , you should see how his eyes light up when he speaks about the baby, please don't take this from him. God please don't forsake us. Please... " I cried harder while looking up at the statue . I felt arms wrap around me and pull me into their chest.

" He heard you sweetheart , he heard you. Now please stop crying because Leonardo may not be around now but we're here. You're now family Amanda , not only because you're carrying one of our own because of how genuine you are, because of how much you love my son and because of how he loves you. Stop crying baby, you'll hurt yourself and the baby. " Mrs Reigns said kissing the side of my head , her voice breaking . I reached my hand out to wipe her tear stained face before wrapping my arms around her and we stayed like that for quite some time before pulling apart.

" Let's go sweetheart , Mason went to go buy everyone some food ." she said standing up and offering her hand to help me stand but I shook my head.

" No it's fine Mrs Reigns, I'm not really hungry but you can go though." I said sniffing while wiping my tears.

" I'm not taking no for an answer Amanda, you need to eat for the baby's sake and you need to rest ." she said kneeling beside me again.

" But how can I rest Mrs Reigns ? How can I rest with the father of my child laying in ICU with no guarantee of him waking up ? How can I? " I asked sobbing not even caring of how much of a mess I look. Mrs Reigns rubbed my back as hiccups escaped my lips .

" I-I said some pretty nasty things to him Mrs Reigns before he got shot , I probably broke his heart but I-I swear I didn't mean any of the things I said, I was just mad at him and I took it too far and now I might never get the chance to apologize to him and he'll probably stay mad at me... Forever . " I said sniffing trying to restrain myself bursting out in tears.

" Don't bit yourself too hard , Leonardo will be okay and you too will get a chance to talk things through and raise this little sweetheart. " she said giving me a small smile .

" I hope so Mrs Reigns." I said wiping my face before yawning .

" Call me Nicki and let's get you out of here, you need rest . " she said helping me stand and we walked out of the room hand in hand .

Leonardo wake up.

I literally cried when I wrote this chapter, I can't imagine half the pain Amanda is going through but anyway...
