' Leonardo that's not part of the plan, we're supposed to stay low ! What are you doing ? '

" Fuck the plan Mia ! The mother of my unborn child is sitting next to Diablo , the fucking target . Who knows who else it targeting him, Amanda could get caught in the cross line and you know it ! so please don't fucking talk to me about a plan." I said approaching the bar .

' I hope they shoot your stupid ass .'

I rolled my eyes, not bothering to answer her.

" Diablo . " I said when I finally reached the bar, catching both their attention . Amanda looked like a reindeer caught in headlights but she quickly recovered.

" Leonardo ! You finally made it, took you long enough to come and greet me. " he stood up from his seat and approached me with his arms open.

" They notified you the moment I walked in huh ? " I said giving him 'bro hug' .

" I couldn't take any chances with you. " he whispered in my ear before pulling back from the hug.

" As you should . " I said confidently with a smirk and he gave me a tight smile.

" Where's that gorgeous sister of yours ? Maya ?" he questioned while looking around.

" It's Mia ! " Mia said appearing out of nowhere.

"Well let me just say Ms Mia that you look quite scrumptious tonight ." he said his eyes roaming Mia's body, this old fuck !

" Don't I always Diablo ? " she said his name with an accent and I knew she was feeding on to his shit to piss me off .

" I said cutting her off hoping she'd catch on, you could tell that Diablo genuinely didn't know that me and Amanda knew each other which is perfect because I didn't want any of the people in the mafias to know about her or our child for safety reasons.

She looked confused for a second and so did Mia but they caught on within seconds.

" What are you doing here ? Can you please leave me alone and stop following me " Amanda screamed the moment Mia and Diablo disappeared into the crowd .

" Don't flatter yourself tesoro, I'm here on a mission and the last person I expected to see here was you . Why are you hanging around mafia men Amanda ? Don't you know that Diablo would kill you the moment he finds out that you're carrying my child out of spite ? " I questioned infuriated, raising my voice a little while glaring at her .

" M-Mr Diablo works with the mafia ? " she asked stuttering .

" No he works with Mickey Mouse and the rest of the clubhouse. " I said sarcastically and she threw her head back laughing.

" You watch Mickey Mouse ? All of a sudden you're less scar-- Okay ! I'm sorry dang, I didn't know Mr Diablo was involved in such stuff and besides I just met the man, he's my friend's uncle so how was I supposed to know he was shady ? Give me a break Leonardo dang. " she said rolling her eyes .

" A break ? Maybe if you weren't carrying my child inside of you then I'd give you a break but until then, I have a say on who you hang out with and what you drink " I said grabbing the wine glass from her and slamming it on the counter.

" That was none alcoholic by the way and I'm so sorry to be the one who tells you this but you're not going to tell me what to do with my life. " she said poking my chest with every word she said .

" No I am not and don't you ever compare me to Dia-- " I got cut off by Diablo's son creeping behind Amanda wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her cheek, if I was mad before then I'm definitely Furious now.

" Babygirl I've been looking for you and pops told me that I'd find you here. Me and the rest of the gang are sitting on the other side of the venue, what are you doin h-- Oh my bad man, I'm Pablo ." he reached out his hand when he finally noticed me, I looked at his hand before looking at Amanda who was nervously fidgeting with her hands . Babygirl ? My eye started to twitch .

" I'm the father of Amanda's baby. " I said with bass in my voice disregarding his hand,

" Oh and ? " he said steeping up to me and I pushed him back causing him to stumble back and he got up ready to throw a punch but Amanda quickly got in between us.

" No the fuck you won't." I said cutting her off making her glare at me but I couldn't care less.

" Shut up white boy . " Gablo said and I instantly broke out of Amanda's hold tackling him to the floor and started throwing punches at him, the first one landing on his nose and I could've sworn I heard his nose crack.

Amanda grabbed me by my collar yanking me back and that gave Gablo the chance to get on top of me and getting a few hits before he got pulled off me. I stood up ready to kill him but Amanda dragged me out of the venue into another room which was dimly lit.

" FOR GOD'S SAKE LEONARDO ! CAN YOU STOP ACTING LIKE A MANIAC ? " she screamed the moment we entered the empty room .

" Maniac ? Amanda you're the one in between the arms of that idiot ." I barked back and she rolled her eyes scoffing .

" IDIOT ? I KNOW YOU'RE NOT FUCKING TALKING WHEN YOU INVITED A BITCH TO OUR DATE !" she yelled pointing at me but I was quick to defend myself.

" Amanda that's my cou-- " she didn't even let me finish before screaming at me again.

" I DON'T CARE WHO SHE IS TO YOU LEONARDO ! YOU CAN DO WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANT TO DO WITH YOUR LIFE LEONARDO , I COULDN'T CARE LESS AND PLEASE STAY OUT OF MY WAY AND PABLO'S BECAUSE UNLIKE YOU, HE'S SANE AND ACTUALLY IS A GOOD MAN AND HAS A LEGAL JOB ! AND IT'S FUNNY THAT YOU WARN ME ABOUT DIABLO WHEN YOU'RE EXACTLY LIKE HIM AND YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE IS FUNNY ? YOU CLAIMING THAT YOU'D PROTECT ME FROM YOUR SO CALLED ENEMIES WHEN YOU FAILED TO PROTECT TANIA AND YOUR KIDS ! MATTER OF FACT THE ONLY PERSON I NEED PROTECTION FROM IS YOU, you are bipolar after all . " she spat with so much disgust that my heart couldn't help but shatter . I know I wasn't the most perfect man and neither was I sane but ever since Amanda came into my life, I've been doing much better and I never and would never hurt Amanda intentionally.

" You out of all people know how sensitive that topic is to me Amanda. You know how much guilt and regret I have, up until this day . Amanda you know I'd give anything to have them with me, even my life, that's why I made a promise that I'd never let anything happen to you or our unborn child and it breaks my heart to know that you think so low about me. " I said my eyes getting watery and I saw her face soften.

" Leonardo I-- "

" It doesn't matter Amanda , I now know how you feel about me. You know what's really funny ? Me hoping that we would try and make this work because I actually like you Amanda, a lot. " I chuckled humorless before sniffing, at this point I didn't care about my hardcore demeanor that I always held because my heart, a heart that I barely had was broken.

" I'll stay out of your way but unfortunately for you, I want to be involved in my child's life so see you at the next doctor's appointment." I said walking out of the room into the party, leaving her behind.

I watched as Leonardo walked out the door before breaking down. I slid down the wall sobbing , I should have never said those things to Leonardo. It was like pouring alcohol on a open wound but I let my anger get the best of me and I ruined everything, even Leonardo.

Gunshots rang pulling me out of my thoughts, I heard screams and I quickly stood up and ran to the venue of the party. I watched wide-eyed as people ran out of the venue in various directions while the sound of gunshots resounded all over the place. People stumbled and some fell as they pushed each other , the entire place was a mess, screams, trampling of feet, smashing of glass, gunshots and blood .

My first instinct was to look for De'arra and Keisha so I ran around the room while searching for them but I stumbled upon a body and fell. I looked back at the body and my heart sank to the bottom of my stomach and a scream escaped my lips . I started sobbing while crawling to him, putting his head on my lap.

" I'm sorry ." he whispers, his breathing shallow.

" I'm fine tesoro ." he tries to reassure me and I ran my shaky hands through his hair, tears falling down my cheeks. I inspected his chest and I found multiple gunshots on his chest, 5 to be exact .

" Leonardo please don't leave me, please don't leave us . Please I can't do this without you, Leonardo please ." I said crying while wiping the tears that were coming out of his eyes. He smiles gently at me, his teeth covered in blood and I cry harder because he had a high chance of not making it.

" Hang in there brother, the ambulance is almost here. " Mia said kneeling beside me.

" Amanda ! Oh thank God, we've been loo-- Shit !" I heard De'arra say behind me.

" THE AMBULANCE IS HERE ! OVER HERE !" I heard someone yell and I heard multiple feet running towards us.

" Amanda move so they can help him." De'arra said pulling me into her arms.

" De'arra he can't leave me, De'arra he can't ! He promised me that he would never leave , he promised De'arra." I said sobbing in her arms.

" He'll be just fine Mandy, he'll be fine sweety. " she said wrapping her arms tighter around me.

I know he has took too many lives but God please spare him his.

Well... that totally went south !
