Leonardo's POV

I froze the moment I heard her voice, the hair at the back of my neck stood and the goosebumps that she has always managed to give me ran through my whole body. It has been months but I could recognize her voice even in my sleep, her angelic voice . I raised my head and looked in her direction, the room became hot all of a sudden , the tension highly evident. My eyes focused on her and found her already looking my way . The room felt empty, it felt as if we were the only souls in the room. My eyes locked into hers , emotions daring to pour out from the both of us . She looks beautiful and healthy, compared to the last time I saw her. Her wounds have healed up perfectly and not even a single scar was visible on her face. Her eyes started to get glossy as she looked back into my eyes with an unreadable expression, anger ? maybe. Throughout the past few months, I have been trying to erase her from my memory and I failed miserably but nobody was aware of that because I stopped talking about her months ago and nobody dared to mention her name in my presence either but seeing her now renews all the shit I felt towards her. No woman has ever been able to make me feel, even the mother of my children but she ! She did it effortlessly . Amanda taught me affection and adoration and she doesn't even know that, she intrigued me from the very first moment I laid eyes on her, I knew for a fact that I would never be able to erase her completely from my mind .

We broke eye contact and my eyes scanned her figure , she must be happy with me and my family out of her life because she now had a thicker frame and her skin was radiant and looked gorgeous. The waiter uniform did her no ju- WAIT WAITER ?!

" I'll take your orders when I come back with your drinks . " I heard her say before she hurried off. I stared at her as she disappeared behind the counter, into the back . We all sat silently at the table for at least a minute , I turned to look at Mia and she already was looking at me with tears threatening to leave her eyes, I heavily sighed before putting my hands on my face .

" What is going on ? Who's that chick ? " Romeo asked pointing in the direction Amanda went in, I picked up my menu, ignoring him.

" She's nobody you should be worrying yourself about . " Leonardo answered glaring at him and Romeo put his hands up in surrender.

"Calm down I just wanted to know who she was since everyone tensed up when she approached the table, I couldn't give a fuck about her ." he said before smacking his lips.

"Watch your mouth." I said calmly still looking at the menu .

" Whatever man. " he said before picking up the menu in front of him.

" You good ? " Mason asked and I just nodded, not wanting to talk to anybody but my mind couldn't help but wonder, what the hell was Amanda doing as a waiter ? She could've found herself another job, she had the qualifications ! Why di-

"BABEEE ! " Brittania said snapped her fingers in front of my face. Oh ! I might have forgotten to tell you guys that I'm back to messing with Brittania , the girl is good company anyway. She helped keep my mind off stuff these past few months and she was good at it too.

" It's Leonardo ! What do you want ? " I turned and looked at her with a bored face , Brittania was good company but she irks me a lot.

"Omg, rude !" she rolled her eyes before pouting making me cringe , a pout looks cute on every girl but Brittania , it's probably the fillers in her lips.

"I've been trying to get your attention ever since I came from the bathroom, what's wrong with you ?" she asked with her heavy head rested on my shoulder, they do head fillers too ?

" Nothing ." I simply said before shrugging her head off my shoulder, that shit was heavy ! My one arm was starting to get numb and I'm not exaggerating.

" But yo- You know what ?! Let's forget it ." she said rolling her eyes before crossing her arms.

" Good idea ." I said and I heard her groan but I ignored her, looking in the direction Amanda went in, waiting for her to come out again.

" Did you guys order already ? Why... is everyone so quiet ? " Rubi asked when she came back to the table from the bathroom , I'm assuming.

"Yes and we ordered for you and her too. " Mia said with her head rested on our father's shoulder and by the way, Mia hates Brittania with so much passion and vice versa. I don't know why or when and I honestly don't care either, women do that every time and with everyone.

" Here are your drinks , are you guys ready to order ?" Amanda said coming out of nowhere causing all heads to turn and look at her but she had her face down, looking at her notepad in hand.

"Omg, yes ! I'm starving , I'll have the double cheese burger with fries but I want my burger without the pickles and my fries curly, please and th- Hey ! Amanda ." Rubi said when Amanda finally raised her head and her eyes instantly widened when they landed on Rubi and I also noticed that her eyes were now red and puffy .

" Rubi ! Uhmm... Hey ! w-what are you doing here ? " Amanda asked while stumbling over her words, my eyes looked between her and Rubi , I don't remember these two meeting.

" You guys know each other ? " Mia asked while looking between Rubi and Amanda. Amanda glanced at Mia for a second before moving her eyes back on Rubi again, ignoring her and Mia lowered her head obviously hurt from being ignored by her friend.

Mia never stopped talking about Amanda, no matter how much I ordered her not to. Her love for Amanda never faded, cutting ties with Amanda broke her heart. The first month she wouldn't even speak to me or the rest of the family, she hated us for forcing her do something that she wasn't ready to do at the moment.

" She does look familiar , we've never met before ?" Brittania asked while looking at Amanda intensively.

" No. " liar ! I'm certain that they have met before.

" Well we met today at the mal-well inside the matern- " Rubi started but got cut off by Amanda.

" YES ! we met today at the mall, yes ... Uhmm excuse me p-please. I'll send a uhmm... another waiter for you . " she said before rushing off again, leaving everyone puzzled. I wanted to run after her and talk to her but I've been doing so well these past months at forgetting her and I was planning on keeping it that way.

" Rubi, was today the first time you saw Amanda ?" Mason asked while twirling his straw inside his glass of Lemonade.

"Yes-Well No ! It wasn't my first time seeing her, I saw a picture of her when I was working on her case when she was kidnapped but it was my first time seeing her in person today at the mall." she said before taking a sip of her Lemonade

" Oh ! That explains it because I do not remember you guys meeting each other. " Luciano said while chewing his straw.

" Yes, and you know what's funny though ? I didn't recognize her until she told me her name. " she said before chuckling.

" She does look different, I almost didn't recognize her too. " my father said shrugging his huge shoulders, Amanda did seem different. She always had beautiful features but now-I don't know, she looks... more gorgeous ?

" Why are you guys going on about this girl ? Who is she ? " Rome , Romeo's twin brother asked

" OOO ! I KNOW WHO SHE IS !" Brittania yelled with her eyes wide and eyebrows raised .

" Don't. Yell. Woman. " Luciano said mugging Brittania who just rolled her eyes and continued talking.

" I saw her in your office, remember baby ? When I visited you that one time but back then she was much more slim compared to now , did she have surgery ? " she asked while looking at me.

" How the fuck would I know ?" I asked before taking a sip from my drink.

' Not everyone what's to be plastic like you . ' Luciano mumbled but I heard him and probably my father too because he snickered.

" I doubt if she had surgery, it's probably the pregnancy. Pregnant wom- " Rubi started but got cut off by me, Mason and Mia.

"PREGNANCY ?! "

" Yes she's pregnant, I saw her belly today when I met her. Why do you guys look lik- " I cut her off again before she could finish.

" Amanda is p-pregnant ? What ?" I asked obviously taken back by this new information.

"Yes, 4 going into 5 months, that's if I heard her correctly but I'm pretty sure I did." my heart sank immediately after she said that.

" 4 months going into 5 ? But I don't remember her telling me that she was seeing someone, we w- " Mia spoke as I zoned everyone out . I don't remember Amanda seeing anybody else too, if she did I would have kno- I was the only one she was ' seeing ' and we did have sex in Russia and that was indeed 4 months ago but- No! Amanda would tell me if she was pregnant, she would.

She wouldn't keep it from me !

Amanda wouldn't dare.

Y'all I did the worst thing ever, I started writing my second book ! Which I promised myself I wouldn't do until I finished 'To New York' because I'd get over excited and possibly start neglecting this book which is happening don't worry y'all, I archived the book and I'll only focus on my first baby.

Anywho... the cat is out of the bag !! I'm scared for Amanda, there's no telling how Leonardo is going to react . Sorry for the short chapter btw 😩 I'm studying, the exams are coming up.
