" Yes Mom ! I know better than to overwork myself but I really have to go now, Bye ! And I love you. " she said it back before I ended the call, guilt instantly took over my head.

It's been 3 months since I've left the hospital and since I've last seen Leonardo or any of the Reigns and Yes ! I kept my baby, I couldn't find it in my heart to abort it. I don't even know why I considered abortion because my parents raised me better and also because Leonardo would kill me if he were to find out that I was pregnant and got rid of his baby. No ! Leonardo doesn't know that I'm pregnant and neither do my parents or family. When Leonardo told me to keep my distance, I did ! And I haven't told my parents about my pregnancy because I'm scared of disappointing them and the rest of my family. Where I'm from, a woman is not supposed to get pregnant before marriage and if she does get pregnant before marriage, then that's a sign of disrespect towards her parents and traditions. I also didn't tell them that I got "Fired " from Reigns Inc , basically what I'm trying to say is ' I've dug myself into a big hole' . I'm now 4 months pregnant and I've managed to get myself a " job "as a waiter at a 'fancy' diner owned by my landlord, Mr Smith and his wife. It wasn't your typical "overcrowded, dirty diner" around the corner, it was more like a restaurant but had a diner theme to it. You're probably wondering why didn't I apply for another job with the qualifications that I have ? I tried ! But they refuse to hire a pregnant woman, who will shortly require a maternity leave. I have enough money to last me until the end of my pregnancy but I eventually got bored sitting in the house and doing nothing so I asked Mr Smith if he could give me a job so I can keep myself busy until the baby arrives. Mr Smith and his wife didn't mind having me around the restaurant, I helped wherever I could . With the money I earned from Reigns Inc, I've managed to pay my rent for the next 3 months because I wanted to start buying stuff for the baby next month although De' arra already beat me to it. These past few months, my relationship with De'arra and Ken , has gotten so much stronger. I love them so much, I've been going through a rough time these past few months but they always manage to bring a smile to my face. My parents went home two weeks after I was released from the hospital and De'arra and Ken never left my side, they basically were the only people who knew about my pregnancy and they were excited about it more than I was. De'arra already bought clothes and bags for the baby and Ken bought plenty sneakers, we don't even know the gender yet ! They attended every doctors appointment with me, every single one of them ! Because of that I decided to make them the godparents of my baby.

I heard a knock on the door and gathered all of my necessary stuff and headed towards the door.

"Hey momma, you're read- damn ! My nephew is really getting bigger and bigger each day. " Ken said once I opened the door

"Kenneth Walker ! For the last time, it's a girl" he scoffed before shrugging

"A girl ? yea right, okay " he said obviously ignoring what I just said.

" Yes ! And you need to come to terms with that. Where's D ? " I asked stepping into the hallway, handing Ken the keys so he can lock up.

" She's downstairs in the parking lot, she decided that she was going to wait for us in the car. " he said locking up the door and turning to look at me.

" Let's go then , by the way did those Dior sneakers arrive ?" I asked as we headed to the elevator

" THEY ARRIVED YESTERDAY MORNING ! I can't wait for you to see them, they're so beautiful. You should get yourself a pair Andy " he said calling me by the nickname he gave me while beaming with excitement. Me and Ken shared the same obsession with sneakers, according to De'arra , I was a tomboy.

" I need the Chanel ones first, those a straight fire ! But I might get a pair " I said as we entered the elevator.

We arrived in the downstairs, in the parking lot still talking about sneakers.

"Took you guys long enough, I've been waiting for hours and I'm not exaggerating." she said pouting as me and Ken exchanged looks before laughing, De'arra smacked her lip before approaching me and bending down to kiss my belly

"Hey niecy pooh ! I can't wait till you get here, your mother and Ken bore me. " she said as she cooed at my belly, now it was Ken's turn to smack his lips

" Ne-phew ! Nephew, It's a boy De'arra ." Ken said side eyeing De'arra causing me to laugh.

"Boy bye ! My godparents senses tell me that it's a girl and my godparent senses never lie. " she said with confidence with her head raised high.

" They never wrong ? But De'arra... It's your first time being a godmother, nobody has ever trusted you enough to give you that title " Ken said in between laughs and I couldn't help but burst out laughing.

" Can we go ? We're going to miss the appointment " De'arra said while smirking before unlocking the car and we all got in.

" Everything looks fine mommy, your little peanut is growing perfectly and he or she looks healthy. " The doctor said before wiping the gel from my stomach.

"Doctor ? One question, is it safe to drink wine while pregnant ?" Ken asked and i immediately knew where this topic was heading.

" Yes bu-" the doctor started but me and De'arra cut her off before she could finish

"TOLD YOU !" we said at the same time while looking at Ken

"Woah ! Yes it's safe to drink wine while pregnant but it should only be one glass a week ." the doctor said looking at me and De'arra but mostly me. Ken cleared his throat about to speak but I beat him to it.

"Don't even say it Kenneth ! " he burst out laughing, throwing his head back before falling off the chair and we all laughed making him mugg the hell out of us.

"I don't see what's funny " he said sitting back on the chair and taking his phone out causing all to laugh harder.

"Can we get the screen pictures doctor ? " Ken said, a little smile appearing on his face. Him and De'arra need to get pregnant soon because they both adore babies and I'm sure that they would make great parents.

"I think they're called ultrasound pictures Bae " De'arra said before chuckling and Ken glared at her

" Sure, I'll go get them now and your vitamins and De'arra stop harassing this boy " the doctor said giving De'arra a look while chuckling

"Tell her Doc ! Matter of fact get her escorted out of your building for peace disturbance " Ken said while dodging De'arra hits, me and the doctor laughed at them before she left the room to get my vitamins.

" You two , stop ! " I said pulling my t-shirt down to cover my belly

" It's her, De'arra always wants to get physical with her manly hands." Ken said making me laugh

" I'm not even going to entertain you , sis ? Why don't you want to know the gender ? The curiosity is killing me." De'arra said whining before hugging my waist, putting her head on top of my belly.

" You better move that big ass head, suffocating my nephew and shit " Ken said mugging her causing me to laugh.

" I know you ain't talking with that huge watermelon on your shoulders, stick looking ass " De'arra clapped back making me laugh harder and Ken to chuckled . Shortly after the doctor walked in and handed me my vitamins and ultrasound pictures which De'arra quickly snatched out of my hands. She told me what to eat and what not to eat and my next appointment before letting us go. We left the clinic and went Chick-fil-A to grab something to eat because I was starving and went back home for De'arra's movie night that she has every month with her family and friends at her place. I honestly didn't want to go because I was exhausted but De'arra insisted.

De'arra was in the kitchen with her mom and cousin, Lauren preparing for the night while me, Lia and Ken occupied the kids until it was time for the movie, mostly me and Lia because Ken was busy playing fortnite or whatever that thing was called.

"What are you having ?" Lia said and I looked at her puzzled until she pointed at my 4 months pregnant belly.

"Oh ! I- I don't know, I want it to be a surprise " I said repositioning myself so I can be comfortable, she nodded.

"Can I touch it ? Your belly ? " she asked shyly and I chuckled at her before nodding

"Oh my God ! It's so hard" she said with her eyes widened causing me to chuckle

"Yea , I know " I said before smiling and rubbing my belly.

"Can I touch too Mandy ?" Kelly, Ken's niece asked with toothless smile

" Ofcou- " I started but got cut off by Raven and Kevin, De'arra niece and nephew

"Can we touch too Mrs Mandy ? " they both said at the same time and before I could respond, all the kids were now surrounding me with their hands reached out and screaming "Can we touch "

"EVERYONE ! THE MOVIE IS READY, COME TO THE LIVING ROOM " De'arra's mom yelled from the living room and all the kids ran out the room to her.

"Thank you Lord. " I mumbled throwing my head back

"Come on sis " Ken said offering his hand to help me off the couch I was sitting in while laughing at my distress. I took his hand and we headed towards the living room. De'arra and everyone did an amazing job because everything was set up nice and beautiful.

" Mandy ! Come sit next to us " Raven yelled waving her little hands in the air for me to notice her, I chuckled before walking towards her and Kevin.
