I was introducing Aaron to Emma and Juliette at lunch, but I'm not sure if that was a good idea

I chuckled as Aaron placed his hand on my thigh growing nervous from there death glares

"So you guys are going to the school dance tonight?" Juliette asked

"Yeah we are" I replied

I cant lie and say I wasn't nervous about tonight, Ive rarely went to events that include a lot of people because of how bad my social anxiety can get, but I'm happy Aarons gonna be there with me

Hopefully nothing goes wrong

"The only reason I'm going is because of the free food and I get to see my pretty girl in a dress" Emma said smiling towards Juliette

Looking over to where Adam was sitting I noticed that he was more quiet than usual

"Adam are you ok?" I asked

"Yea I'm fine" he replied forcing a small smile on his face

I grew a little worried because Adam wasn't usually this quiet, he can be annoying but I still cared about him

"Hey have any of you guys found out what happened with Xaiver? He's been missing for like 2 weeks" Juliette asked as me and Aaron grew tense

"Nope, I have no clue" I replied

Before she can say anything else the bell rang

"I'll see you guys later" Emma said walking away with Juliette

Adam immediately got up leaving the cafeteria without saying anything

"Do you think Adam is ok" I asked Aaron as we walked out

Looking over to Aaron I noticed that he was growing worried

It was obvious Aaron cared about Adam even though he doesn't show it

"Maybe we should talk to him" I said again as Aaron slowly nodded

We walked outside the school building looking for Adam, I immediately spotted him sitting on the bleachers

Me and Aaron made our way towards him as his gaze met ours

This didn't look like the same Adam, he's usually always smiling and happy, but today he looks miserable

He had really bad eye bags and his eyes were red like he's been crying, and his face showed no emotion

"Adam, you don't have to talk to us, but I just want you to know that we're here if you need to talk, I don't like seeing you sad" I said as me and Aaron sat on either side of him

I'm not going to force him to say anything or keep talking about this if he doesn't want to

I hate when people force you to tell them what's going on, because sometimes it's hard telling others what your going through, some things are just not easy to talk about

"I don't like seeing you sad either man" Aaron muttered

"I knew you guys cared about me" Adam said with a sad smile

"I'm just tired" he said again

"People always assume my life is fucking great because I'm always happy" he uttered

"Keep talking, you can talk to us, we're here for you" I said

"H-her name is Katie, a girl I fell in love with two years ago, when I lost my family I felt like I had no one, but then she came along and made me feel happy, I gave her my heart" he said while fidgeting with the bracelet on my hand

"What happened" I asked

He sighed before speaking

"She was cheating me the whole time, she lied to me, she manipulated me, she hurt me, and I saw her with her boyfriend this morning, apparently she goes to this school now"

"Do you want me to throw her off a cliff Adam" Aaron muttered

"How generous of you Aaron" Adam chuckled

"Adam, you don't deserve what she did to you and I don't want you to hurt yourself over some bitch, she lost an amazing person and I'm pretty sure she's not going to find anyone better than you, I know it feels like you don't have anyone but me and Aaron care a lot about you, even though Aaron doesn't show it, he cares" I said as Adams gaze met mine

"Marry me Jennie" Adam said pulling me in for a hug as Aaron pulled him off of me while smacking the back of his head

"You don't have to get jealous Aaron Ill hug you too" Adam laughed as Aaron got up moving away from him

"Oh no you don't,come here baby!" Adam yelled chasing Aaron

Yep Adam is definitely back to himself

"Jennie fucking help me!" Aaron yelled before getting tackled by Adam to the floor

I felt myself becoming happy as I watched them

But that happiness is exchanged with confusion as soon as I spotted a dark figure standing in the field

For some reason,

That person is looking straight at me
