Adam has been laughing for the past 10 minutes and I'm really tempted to knock him the fuck out

"I'm sorry it's just, how the hell do you not know how to ask a girl out" he chuckled from the seat next to me

Me and Adam have Chemistry together and my dumbass decided to ask him for some advice on asking Jennie to the school dance

"You know what forget it, it's not like you know how to ask someone out either" I said turning my gaze away from him

"Alright Aaron, watch me then" he smirked rising out of his seat

"Excuse me are you a soda?" He asked walking up to some random girl in class

"Huh?" she replied with a confused expression on her face

"Cause you look sodalicious" Adam said as he bursted out laughing

Why the fuck did I ask him for advice in the first place

I chuckled as the girl walked away from him without saying anything

"Alright maybe she didn't get the joke because she was deaf " Adam muttered walking back to his seat

"I'm pretty sure she's gonna wanna be deaf after that" I mumbled

Adam was about to say something but he was suddenly cut off by the school speakers

'Aaron Wilson and Adam Jones please report to the Principals office'

"Did we do something?" Adam asked as we made our way out of class

"Well other than throw a girl off a cliff, no not really" I muttered

"Holy shit do you think they found out we did that?" He asked again as we walked in the office

The principal wasn't in here but I spotted three chairs across his desk, Jennie was sitting in the middle one

I sat down in the chair next to her and Adam sat on the other side of her

"Do you know why we're in here?" Adam asked turning his gaze to Jennie

"No clue, they didn't tell me"

"Do you guys think we're in trouble?" She said again

"Let's hope not" Adam muttered as the door to the office opened

The principal walked in, he looked like he was around 60 years old, he had blond hair and his skin was really wrinkly

"Holy shit is that Donald trump" Adam mumbled with a disgusted look on his face

"Do you kids know why your in here?" The principal asked walking to his seat

"You need advice on a new skincare routine?" Jennie asked as Adam snorted

"No! And my skin is already perfect!" The principal yelled

"Your in here because your all suspects!"

"Suspects?" me, Adam, and Jennie said at the same time

"Suspects for what?" I asked

"You all were the last people Martha talked to before she died, so I was wondering, we're any of you part of her death?"

Oh shit

"She threw herself of a cliff , we weren't involved" Adam replied

"But why would she throw herself off a cliff though?"

"Why wouldn't she, I mean if I was her I would have killed myself a long time ago" I said

"That is very disrespectful kid!"

"Alrighty this is a waste of time let's go love" I said turning my gaze to Jennie as we all stood up

"You can't just walk out without permission!"

"Watch us old man" Adam said as we all walked out

"So do y'all wanna have a threesome in the Janitors closet?" Adam smirked looking towards us

Instead of responding I grabbed Jennies hand pulling us away from him

"Oh come on, I'm horny!" Adam yelled from behind us

"You know you and Adam would make a good couple" Jennie smiled looking up at me

"there's only one person I want and it's not him" I chuckled looking down at her as we walked towards a bench outside the school

I noticed we were still holding hands and I didn't wanna let go

I pulled out a pack of cigarettes from my pocket and put one in my mouth as we sat down and I made sure to blow the smoke away from her

"Why do you smoke?" Jennie asked from beside me

My only friend died from smoking when I was younger so I started smoking because I wanted to die, I ended up getting addicted to it

"It helps me feel less stressed sometimes I guess"

"Aaron, you know that if you ever need someone or feel stressed ill be here with you, ill always be here with you" she smiled at me as I felt my heart beat faster

I think I love her

But what if she doesn't love me back?

"Jennie I have a question" I hesitantly said

"Yes Aaron?"

"I was um, wondering if you w-wanna go to the school dance with me, I'm sorry I didn't get flowers or like a box of chocolate I want s-sure how to ask" I stammered growing nervous

"Your so cute" she chuckled

"I'm not fucking cute" I muttered

"And of course I'd wanna go with you" she said resting her head on my shoulder

I couldn't help myself, I started smiling

"You know I'm here for you too right?" I uttered as her gaze moved to mine

"I'll always take care of you, and I'll hurt anyone for you love" I muttered looking at her beautiful eyes

She wrapped arms around my neck pulling me in for a hug

"I don't deserve you" she quietly mumbled

"It's the other way around darling"

I wish she would know how much she helped me, she's the light of dark tunnel for me, she helped me out of that tunnel with her light, I want that happiness that she gives to me to last forever

Shes my everything

And I hope I never lose her
