《DeLuca's Home for Mentally Disturbed Boys (BxB Fantasy Polyamory)》Chapter 38

"Wait, Mr. Lucaon, you don't need to do that." started Mr. Knoll, his startled expression not lost on me.

My uncle ignored him while he fed me bites of the cheese and broccoli-stuffed chicken breast that had a creamy bacon sauce over it. It was super yummy.

"I have noticed your unseemly behavior towards the waitresses and it has further lowered my opinion of you. It seems as though the waitstaff is very familiar with you, so it is likely that the manager cannot remove you from the premises due to his involvement with you."

I took another bite, my tail wiggling on my right and hitting the chair legs. Uncle Andros patted my lips with a cloth napkin, because he wouldn't let me remove my hands from his right forearm while he held me to his torso. I was a bit embarrassed at first, but I was reminded of Daddy doing the same in front of everyone, so I was fine after the first bite.

Uncle Andros fed me another cube of the pan-fried sweet potatoes that were perfectly caramelized, which were so yummy. I wanted to make them at home so badly. I was getting addicted to the sweet and salty taste. The last few bites were finished quickly, and I was happily stuffed.

"But, Mr. Lucaon—!"

"Enough. Bring the manager of this establishment. I will call the owner."

"Pup, get the waitstaff. Tell them that I require their presences."

"Yes, Uncle Andros. Thank you for dinner, and I love you."

He smiled inside my mind. "You are very welcome, Anwyll. I love you too, pup."

I hopped down from his lap and walked quickly from the room. I heard the door slam behind me and I yelped when Mr. Knoll grabbed my arm.

"Where do you think you're going, you spoiled little brat? Rat on me, huh? I'll show you who's boss." he hissed in my ear and clamped his hand over my mouth.

I struggled, managing to elbow him in a soft place. I pushed him away from me and ran out into the main area. I bit my lip, then spotted Walter a fair ways away. I managed to duck in time for Mr. Knoll to miss my hair, then dashed in the direction that Walter went. The waitstaff may listen to him, since I look like a little kid.

I glanced behind me to see Mr. Knoll walking quickly after me with a murderous glare. I easily maneuvered around the waitstaff with their plates, but heard crashes and shouts behind me. I caught sight of Walter's light blond hair, subconsciously noting the shorter length.

"Wally!" I cried, yelping when Mr. Knoll grabbed my hair. "Let go of me, you bastard!"

"Oh, the little girly boy has a potty mouth, huh? I should wash it out and spank his bum."

I stiffened and struggled a bit more. "Wally!" I shouted, which brought the attention towards Mr. Knoll.

He grunted and brought me around the corner, while I wiggled and slammed my fist under his jaw. His teeth snapped shut and blood spurted from his mouth. He released a shriek, then grew silent. It was scary. I kept struggling, and suddenly I was being ripped out of Mr. Knoll's hold. I clung to whomever it was and tucked myself close to him.

"There, there, child. I heard you call me. How do you know that name?"

I blinked at the unfamiliar voice and twisted to look into the face of an older version of Walter. "Wally's dad?"

Walter Sr. chuckled heartily, and petted my head. "Ah, you were calling for my son. What a precious child. How do you know him?"

"From high school."

His grayish-green eyes widened. "Are you the famous Anwyll?"

I giggled. "Mm, yep. Thanks for saving me from Mr. Knoll."

His expression turned dark. "Why did you need saving?"

"He's a really horrible man. He pays the manager here to keep him quiet about him touching the staff here. Mr. Knoll got angry that I told my uncle, and he tried to grab me when I left to get the waitstaff like my uncle told me to."

Walter Sr. tucked my head against his chest. "Who is your uncle?"

"Andros Lucaon, at your service." spoke my uncle and bowed slightly, as he lifted the unconscious Mr. Knoll by the back of his collar.

Walter Sr. weakly laughed. "This man had a death wish trying to attack your nephew, Mr. Lucaon."

"Did you take him out?" asked my uncle, but he gave Mr. Knoll to the big guys from the banquet. I guess they were bodyguards of sorts.

"No, Anwyll landed the strike as I approached, but I extricated him from the attacker's grasp. I hope I have not done anything to offend you."

Uncle Andros finally approached us, and he took hold of me and tucked my body safely into his side. "Offend me? You have helped my family, and in turn helped me as well. May I ask how you know Anwyll's name?"

"This is Wally's dad. Wally is my friend from high school and he's the one I met earlier in the washroom." I explained, since Walter Sr. appeared to be too shocked to answer.

Uncle Andros petted my stinging scalp, and I sighed with relief. It felt so nice to be soothed again. He kissed my head, and closed his eyes for a moment. "May I have your name?"

"W-Walter McMann, Mr. Lucaon."

"It's been a pleasure to meet under these circumstances." rumbled my uncle, and he held out his left hand.

Walter Sr. met my uncle's hand and shook it firmly. "I don't have the foggiest idea as to why, but thank you."

"No, thank you." murmured Uncle Andros. "You did help my nephew."

I rubbed my cheek on my uncle's shoulder. "Mm, thank you, Mr. McMann."

Walter Sr. seemed a bit disappointed for some reason, and I wondered if it had to do with the nickname I used for his son. Uncle Andros let me lean away from him and give Walter Sr. a hug, which the older man clearly enjoyed.

"Really, thank you, Wally. I was scared until you saved me." I whispered, kissing his cheek in thanks.

Uncle Andros eased my head back onto his shoulder, then gave his card to Walter Sr. "Call me next Monday, and we can work something out."

Walter Sr. bowed his head in thanks. "Thank you very much. I will be sure to do so."

Uncle Andros returned to the private room, that Mr. Knoll's assistant had booked, where all of the waitstaff had gathered. The manager was nowhere to be found, and my uncle called the owner of this place while he leaned on the wall.

The call went well, but the owners were shocked to find out about what was going on, so they promised to find new management before the weekend. The owners listened to the employees' honest reports and within ten minutes everyone was looking happier and much more relaxed.

Uncle Andros paid for my food and quietly slipped out without another word. David opened the door to the vehicle, so my uncle slid in without another word. He placed his briefcase next to him on the seat, then buckled us in. Uncle Andros was awfully quiet, but I could sense that he was relieved to finally head home. It was almost six o'clock now, so we had a couple hours to ourselves at his apartment.

David was bid adieu, and I said goodbye to him with a bright smile before he drove away. He wiggled his fingers and pulled out of the parking space. Uncle Andros stepped into the elevator while I snuggled closer when the metal box lifted from the underground parking lot.

"Do you have tea, Uncle Andros?"

"Yes, pup. Would you like to make a pot when we get back?"

"Yes, please." I grinned, hugging his neck. "May I can make something for you to eat, too?"

"You really can cook?"

I nodded as the elevator ground to a halt and the doors opened. "Mmhm, I was forced to learn at first, but now I love it."

Uncle Andros nosed my head while he stepped out onto the top floor and headed for his penthouse suite. There was another one on the opposite side, and I absentmindedly wondered who that belonged to. Uncle Andros opened his door and set me on the floor, then as the door closed, the other one swung open. My silver-flecked violet orbs met with a flash of fiery orange and amber, and those flickering orbs sparked a brighter shade when they saw me. The door shut with a clunk. Uncle Andros locked it, then ushered me into the kitchen.

"Here are all the items for tea." he said, showing me a cabinet that had the teapot, and multiple boxes and tins of different kinds of tea. "The kettle is on the stove. I'm going to get changed. Don't burn yourself." he added, kissing the top of my head before going into his room.

I giggled to myself while I filled the kettle and set it on the correct ring. I turned it on, then pulled out the teapot and set it on the counter. I bent over to look at the varieties and heard my uncle approach. He took a seat at the island and silently watched me while I rifled through the boxes. I finally found one that seemed to be Uncle Andros' absolute favorite. It looked like it would be yummy. I took a packet and closed the door to the designated tea cabinet, then set it next to the teapot.

"Come here, Anwyll."

My ears swiveled before my head could do it, which made my uncle laugh. I climbed up onto the seat next to him and felt his left arm move to cuddle my form into his dominant side. I rubbed my head on his chest and tilted it back in preparation for a quick kiss. Uncle Andros' chest vibrated with a rumble of pleasure when our lips met and I whimpered with a bit of dissatisfaction when he pulled away.

"All in due time, pup. The kettle is five seconds away from screeching."

I hopped off the stool and ran to the stove, shutting off the ring and moving the kettle onto a cool one. Uncle Andros was laughing for some reason, but I didn't mind. His laughter is really wonderful to listen to, because I knew he was happy. The braying donkey part was funny, though.

Once the hot water was in the teapot with the teabag, I set the kettle back onto the cool ring and put the lid onto the teapot. Uncle Andros set the timer for eight minutes, then scooped me up and set my butt onto the island. He leaned on the countertop with me trapped between his arms. As I watched his current appearance fade into his true one, my blush deepened.

"You are far too adorable, pup. Give me a kiss." he murmured, and I sat up a bit straighter to press my lips to his own. He purred, the deep rumble vibrating the airways. "Good boy."

I flushed with the praise. "Um, Uncle, may I make something for you to eat?"

Uncle Andros chuckled and kissed my squishy cheeks, petting my face and head with his hands as he straightened. I hummed happily, my tail tip wiggling over the edge of the counter.

"What will you make me, pup?" he asked softly, rubbing my scalp.

"Anything you want, Uncle Andros."

He smiled. "How about a grilled cheese sandwich?"

I blinked. "Um, I don't know how—!"

"I know, pup. Let me teach you."

I blushed and nodded, hugging his waist. "Okay!"

Over the next ten minutes, Uncle Andros taught me all the steps. We placed the sandwiches into the pan and heard the butter sizzling. Uncle Andros looked down at me with a pleased smile and picked me up.

I hugged his neck and kissed his cheek. "Thank you, Uncle. For everything today. I love you so much."

Uncle Andros purred again and kissed my cheeks. "You are such a good boy, my cute little wolf pup. You do not need to thank me, though. And I love you so much." he murmured, hugging me closely while he retrieved a spatula.

He chuckled when I leaned down and flipped his sandwich from my position in his arms, then grasped the spatula and first flipped the one I had made, then he turned over his own. They looked perfectly crisp and golden brown, and the cheese was almost perfectly melted. I was getting a teeny tiny bit hungry again.

Uncle Andros noticed me eying the sandwiches and kissed my human ear to catch my attention. I turned my head and he pecked my lips. I blinked in surprise. He set me down with a soft laugh when the timer beeped again for the tea. By the time I had taken care of the tea and poured it into two mugs, my uncle had the sandwiches on the plates. They were both cut in half, and I was excited to try a bite.

Uncle Andros took the one that I made and set it aside while he headed for the fridge. He pulled out a gallon of milk and poured a bit into his mug of tea, then glanced at me for the okay. I nodded with a quiet thank you. My uncle chuckled and put the milk back in its place, then grabbed a couple napkins.

"Let's cuddle on the couch, pup."

"Mmkay!"

He ruffled my hair before he grabbed his mug and his plate. I carefully carried my hot mug to the coffee table first, then as I went back to grab my plate, my uncle tucked me against his chest and sat down on the couch in the corner. I noticed a second plate next to his own and quirked my lips to the side.

"Thanks, Uncle."

"You are very welcome, pup. Is there anything I can do to make you feel more comfy and cozy?"

I shook my head, but I did twist around a bit to remove the suspenders and unzip my skort. Uncle Andros gently pulled it off and tossed it further down the couch. I giggled and snuggled into him again.

"There, now that feels better." I grinned while I folded my legs, making him chuckle and ruffle my hair.

He turned on the TV and handed me my plate and mug. He balanced his own plate on the arm of the couch, stretching his legs a bit more along the length of it. I waited until he took a bite to try my own grilled cheese sandwich. It was still warm and melty, and I liked the buttery, crispy bread. My tail gave away my true feelings during my chewing, and I felt my uncle's hand rub between my wolf ears. I giggled happily, then took a sip of the hot tea that was perfectly milky.

"My oh my, what do we have here?" murmured my uncle, and my eyes darted up to the screen. I saw myself with my face blocked out in an image of my uncle walking into the restaurant from earlier.

Uncle Andros turned up the volume up a bit from its muted state. A woman was talking onscreen.

"Reports have been flying around about a strange child being seen with many well-known names in the business industry such as Angelique Michaels, Annalise Fractal, Timothy Herald, and even the famous Lucaon of Worldwide Business."

"Ooh, she mentioned Angel!" I exclaimed, my tail whacking Uncle Andros' knees.

"She certainly did."

I could hear the amusement in his tone, but kept my eyes glued to the screen while I sipped my delicious tea. It was kind of fruity and had a spicy cinnamon kick to it. I really liked this tea.

The woman turned to the man next to her with a puzzled expression on her face. "Does anyone know who this child is? We have heard from various sources that he can speak business language, but a normal child couldn't possibly do that. Perhaps he's a child genius?" she laughed, and it almost sounded like she was mocking me.

My ears lowered and I huffed, still sipping at my very full mug.

The man shook his head. "I don't know, but he is certainly the talk of the city. And to think the Lucaon would carry him! Astonishing!"

My uncle chuckled when I turned my lips down while I twisted around to look at him. "Newspeople are so mean and rude. May we watch something else, Uncle?"

"Of course, pup. What would you like to watch?"

"Um..." I shyly looked into his beautiful eyes with a blush across my cheeks. "B-Bugs Bunny cartoons, if that's okay."

Uncle Andros tilted his head and closed his eyes. I almost wondered if he was going to say no, but then I felt his body trembling. I put my mug down, then I partially turned around and pressed my hands to his chiseled body.

"Are you okay, Uncle? Did I say something?"

A snicker broke free, and I pouted when I realized he was laughing at me. I took another bite of the grilled cheese and then set it back onto the coffee table while I chewed. I bet Daddy wouldn't say no to finishing it when he arrives at eight o'clock.

I silently sipped at my tea again and blinked when the screen turned red. When a bunch of images popped up, Uncle Andros moved into another area with a dark background and I saw letters appear. He was typing out "Bugs Bunny cartoons." I blushed and made a mental note to thank him once he was finished with his chortles.

My hands were warmed on the hot mug, and the warmth my uncle emitted felt so deliciously addicting. I shivered and felt the hairs on my nape rise along with goosebumps over my arms. Uncle Andros finally calmed down and curled around me to kiss my cheek. He moved back into his spot.

"Thank you, Uncle." I whispered, leaning back into him.

"You are very welcome, my cute pup. Just relax and watch the cartoons."

I nodded and snuggled deeper, holding onto my mug to my chest while Bugs Bunny appeared onscreen. I giggled when he outsmarted a cook to fall into the cauldron in his stead. Uncle Andros ate his sandwich slowly, petting my head with his non-greasy hand. I handed him his napkin and his mug of tea, which he thanked me for with a gentle kiss to my cheek.

Sometime later I had gotten really sleepy, but I tried to hold back. Soon enough, my eyelids were closing and I felt my uncle remove the now warm, empty mug from my hands. I whimpered softly when he moved, but relaxed when he situated my body on top of his own. Warmth draped over us, and the lights dimmed.

"Sleep for now, pup." murmured Uncle Andros, and I smiled and nodded.

"Nighty-night, Uncle Andros."

Nighty-night for a little while." he responded, slowly rubbing my back.
