"I cannot consume food in front of others." he admitted in a soft voice full of shame. "It makes my skin crawl, and I almost immediately feel the urge to vomit."

I pressed myself as close as I could to him and hugged his neck. "I'm sorry for asking at the cafe, Uncle Andros. I was just worried, 'cause Daddy and Angel eat the food I can't finish when I'm with them."

He cupped the back of my head, nuzzling my silvery-heather waves. "I know the reason why you asked had no ill-intention behind it, so please do not apologize."

I hummed in response, now sliding back down into his comfortable embrace. He chuckled, stroking my wolf ears with gently movements. I shivered a bit, my ears twitching in his hold.

"May I ask why you can't eat in public?"

Uncle Andros paused in playing with my ears. "I have never spoken to anyone about it, but there's this odd sense of safety and comfort around you, despite your small size."

I smiled, pressing my cheek to his chest again. "I don't know why, but if it brings other peace and happiness, then that makes me happy in return."

My uncle started purring again, stroking his fingers through my hair. He kept cuddling with me, even as he let his head flop back with a deep sigh.

"As I am sure Alex told you, I am not a full dragon. And because of that, my existence within the clan is tolerated. Due to my status as 'not quite a dragon,' I was watched with critical gazes anytime I left my room. It made me incredibly self-conscious. When I was called terrible names and picked on by the few true dragon children in the clan, it caused an unpleasant reaction in my immature mind for whenever I ate in the Great Hall. It was as though I could hear others' thoughts and sneers ringing in my ears, even when no one spoke to me. Vomit would spill moments after taking a single bite, and I kept to myself after the second time."

My eyes widened. "You were bullied?"

"Think of it this way, Anwyll. If someone like me, an 'impure dragon', were to stay with uppity, prideful pure dragon bastards, then being ostracized and harshly criticized is completely normal. The clan is like a hierarchy of royalty. The only reason that the clan allowed me to live in the compound until my adult stage of life was because of my draconic features."

"They really are the worst. I'm glad I stood up to your father, Uncle Andros."

"You stood up to him?"

"Mmhm, he was being really rude. I don't want to show my other form to someone who thinks pureblood dragons are superior to everyone else. As soon as he saw that I didn't have draconic attributes, he looked at me like my mother used to—like I was the worst kind of scum." I huffed, swinging my tail up so I could cuddle with it in the crook of my right arm.

Uncle Andros growled at the last part, pressing kisses to my head. "Bastards! The whole lot of them!"

I burst into a fit of giggles, which made him snort. I beamed, clutching onto his shirt. "Thank you for telling me, Uncle Andros."

He smiled, rubbing between my wolf ears. I grinned at him as he pressed his lips to my head again.

"No, perhaps I should be thanking you, my sweet nephew." he said with a smirk, rolling onto his knees.

I flopped onto my back with a startled squeak, and my eyes widened when his fingers began to wriggle. "Eep!"

He chuckled while I laughed, his merciless fingers wriggling up and down my sides. I whined a minute in, reaching for his hands.

"Uncle!" I exclaimed, making him smirk again as he hovered over me with his hands on the couch cushions below me.

"You bet, little Anwyll." his rumbly chuckle made me purr with happiness.

"Hehe, that's true." I giggled, my tail wagging over the edge of the couch.

Uncle Andros stared at my face for a minute, studying my features. His body tensed, then I watched him lean slightly to the right to place his left hand on my cheek. He stroked it with his thumb, a fond expression in his eyes.

A timer suddenly beeped on my uncle's phone, which made us flinch as the sound struck through the gentle silence. Uncle Andros released a heavy sigh as he curled down to kiss my forehead.

"It seems that my time to eat has come. Perhaps I should send you home." he murmured, sliding his left forearm underneath the gentle curve of my spine to begin lifting my small frame.

I pouted a bit, but kissed his jaw while he moved off the couch with my form in his arms. I hugged his neck, my tail whirling when he pecked my cheek.

"Thank you for spending the day with me, Anwyll. I hope we can do this again soon."

"Thank you for inviting me, Uncle Andros. I had fun with you, and I loved spending time with my one and only uncle." I grinned, my tail still wagging at high speed. "I am also really looking forward to when we can spend more time together soon."

He set me on the island, which made me tilt my head. He stared into my face for another thirty seconds, and that had my heart pounding an erratic beat. My uncle was truly stunningly beautiful, even with his buff, tall frame. His eyes trapped me in their hypnotic dance as they flicked over my face.

"Stay here, pup."

I nodded, then watched him go to the fridge. Uncle Andros pulled out the box from earlier, which made my stomach growl a bit. He chuckled as he opened it, tearing off a piece from that grilled cheese. He handed it to me, so I thanked him with a broad smile. My uncle watched me nibble at it until it was nearly finished, then placed his hands on either sides of my hips on top of the island.

I glanced up with a curious expression, but my eyes widened when he pressed forward and kissed me. I gasped softly and he stole the last piece with his lips. He pecked mine once more to shove the piece of sandwich into his mouth, then hugged me while he chewed. I was shocked. Not only because he kissed me, but because my uncle was actually able to eat something in front of me.

"Simply amazing," he murmured, the guttural tone sending delightful shivers up and down my spine. "I haven't been able to eat in front of anyone for centuries."

"How did that work out in your dating life, Uncle?"

He chuckled again. "Not very well, my dear nephew. However, this is a nice change. I enjoyed the way it felt and the way it tasted with you in my embrace."

I pressed my nose into his neck. "Um, Uncle Andros, why did you kiss me?"

"Because I absolutely adore you, my sweet nephew. There's no other way to explain it other than through a simple peck on the lips."

I hummed, wrapping my arms partway around his waist. "So I guess you love me a lot, huh?"

"Yes, I do."

"I'm glad, Uncle, because I love you a lot, too."

His breath hitched, and he slowly curled down around me again with a low sigh. "You are too precious, Anwyll. I fear that I may not allow you to return your daddy, so I will send you back now."

I puffed my cheeks out, but held his hands when he offered them. I knew he was going to use some kind of magic, so I bounced up a bit on the counter and pecked his lips. His eyes widened just as I saw him fade from sight.

My vision darkened, and suddenly I was standing in the hallway near the common room. I staggered, catching myself on the wall. My mind was weird, and my vision was wonky with how it swirled and swayed. Now I felt like vomiting.

"Hmm, so this is the little hybrid." hissed a light voice, and I warily raised my wavering gaze to a young man with strawberry-blond hair and bright red irises. He smirked when our eyes met. "You're cute, but you will be coming with me."

He moved faster than I could blink, and suddenly I felt a sharp sting in my neck. I gasped, struggling in his tight embrace. My limbs were growing weak, and it felt like I was forgetting something.

The telepathy thing.

Oh, I can talk to Daddy! But my mind wouldn't focus. It just kept flicking over each thought and emotion as my vision swirled.

"Did Daddy's father order this?" I rasped, my head falling back.

His smirk deepened when our eyes met for another moment. "Ooh, what an intelligent beauty."

I pouted at him. "I'm not gonna be nice to you or them."

He brushed his strawberry-blond hair back, easily lifting me over one shoulder. "That's not necessary, little hybrid. You will be your grandmother's new test subject after all."

I growled, and I felt the weird drug wear off as I swallowed. I drove my toes into his solar plexus and shoved off of him. The young man released a startled yelp, and hopped back when I landed into a crouch.

"How did you do that? She promised me the drug would immobilize you and cut off any magical barriers."

I grimaced. "The 'she' you're referring to must be Grandmother."

The young man bit his tongue and glared, then flashed over to me. I dodged, using my senses. Anytime he came near, I hopped away from him and used the mind-link to contact my daddy.

"Daddy, there's trouble!"

Not even a moment later, a startlingly loud roar echoed in the building, making the doors and windows shake in their frames. The man paused, fear obvious from his tense body and pale face. Doors slammed open and the others gathered with frightened expressions, but they hardened when the stranger came into focus with me on guard.

"What's going on, sweetheart?" asked Angel, removing the sheath from his horn. The razor sharp tip gleamed in the lower lighting, making the red-eyed dragon flinch.

"This guy was ordered by my grandfather to come here from Draconia Clan to kidnap me for my grandmother's sake, so that she could experiment on me as her new test subject."

Angel's face darkened as he strode over, and the stranger held out his hand. I watched a red light form, but it fizzled out. Bright red eyes widened.

"Unfamiliar magic is neutralized within my barrier, but you should know, Santi from the Scarlet Dragons, because my mother would have told you." explained my daddy, as he appeared in front of us. His wings were out, his usual warm honey-gold eyes now the color of dark amber. "And you would be dead in this very instant if you harmed my son."

I scooted around Santi to get to my daddy, hugging his hips for a moment of thankfulness and greeting before hurrying back to Angel, Waltz, and Dian. Zaire, Gavin, Damon, and Ambrose were behind Daddy with furious glares.

Angel hugged me to his side, angling his horn towards the intruder. "I would have made sure of it, Alexandre."

Daddy chuckled with a pleased expression. "I can imagine."

I hugged Angel's waist, kissing his cheek when he leaned down a bit more. Waltz hugged me and kissed my cheek, and Dian's lips landed on my head. Santi watched this interaction with wide eyes, and as he turned his gaze to the others, he raised his hands in surrender.

"You have captured me, Alexandre of the Silver Dragons."

Silver-colored magic bound Santi's wrists and ankles with short chains. He gasped softly, then fell to his knees when the magic tightened his cuffs. I blinked when Daddy stepped over to him and pressed a single finger to his head.

"My parents seem to have forgotten how powerful their children are, and they have no idea how much more powerful my son is in comparison to me. You are to stay in my dungeon for questioning until otherwise notified."

And within an instant, Santi was gone from sight. Daddy sighed and rubbed his face, so Angel let me go to him. He smiled and petted my head, looking much more relaxed than before.

"Did he do anything to you, baby?"

I shrugged, pressing my face into his side. "I was drugged with something, but it wore off."

Another growl made the air waves tremble, but once I rubbed my face on his soft shirt, Daddy picked my body up and pecked my lips with a happy sigh. I giggled, my tail whirling in response.

"How did you get home, my baby boy?"

"Uncle Andros sent me home with magic."

Daddy hummed. "Did he drop his magic to reveal his attributes?"

My eyes sparkled with excitement, my tail a blur. "He's so beautiful, Daddy!"

He chuckled. "I'm sure he didn't really believe you, baby."

I puffed my cheeks out. "Uh-huh, you're right. I really wanna know what he is, but I wanna hear about it from him."

Daddy nosed my cheek, pressing his lips to my jaw. My smile grew when I felt the short whiskers of his beard prick my face.

"You're a good boy, Anwyll. Did you have a good day?"

"Mmhm, it was fun!"

"Good, now head off to bed." he smiled, pecking my lips. "I have some work to do."

"Okay, Daddy. Don't stay up too late, okay?"

He ruffled my hair, smiling a bit more before disappearing from sight. Ambrose had already disappeared, so I turned to the others with a bright grin.

"Sleepover?"

They smirked, making me gulp.

I do not have enough chapters to comfortably post twice a week. I will be slowing this down to every Sunday. But a new book (that I started in Oct. and finished a few days ago) will be posted every Wednesday in this story's stead.

There is a prologue, thirteen chapters, and an epilogue.

I am hoping that by posting that once a week instead of this story's chapters twice, then I will have more time to write for this one. I am currently hitting a block for inspiration, but I believe it will soon pass. I have some ideas.

This story that I will start posting this Wednesday is a MxMxM vampire and werewolf one that was supposed to be super scary, but turned out to be adorable and fluffy. I hope you all can enjoy when it comes out.
