The next morning, I woke up to an ache. When I smelled the intoxicating scent of my mate I smiled down at his sleeping form. We mated last night and I couldn't be any happier. I was already in love with this man. For five whole years, her mate was one of her closest friends. Yes, he's three years older than me, but I don't care. Alex wants me and that's all I could ask for.

When he slowly opened his eyes and looked up at me, he smiled weakly. "Morning, beautiful." He said softly before kissing my bare back. I closed my eyes as my wolf went crazy, desperate to jump him.

He started to kiss my back further up while he growled softly. "I can smell your arousal, baby." His husky voice whispered in my ear. My breath hitched when he softly bit my ear and began to blush. He laughed lightly and kissed my neck where my mark was and covered my mouth surpressing the moan that almost escaped.

I suddenly felt cold when he stood up to get dressed. "Where are you going?" I asked him. "You have school and I have work to do." He reminded me, laughing lightly at my pouting face. He sat next to me and kissed me. "I'll see you later. I promise." He said before leaving.

I heard my wolf whine in the back of my mind when her mate left. "Don't be such a child. We'll see him later today." I reminded her. "That's too long. You know you agree with me." She retorted. I sighed knowing how right she was.

I sulked downstairs and saw my father with an aggravated look on his face, while my mother was beaming. "What?" I asked. Ellie had a smug look on her face. "Your scent is different." She said. My eyes widened and I looked down out of embarrassment. How the hell did I forget that part?

"Did you use protection?" Sam asked. "Samuel!" My mother yelled. His face held the same look my father's did. "I'd like to know as well." He said. I rolled my eyes. "Yes daddy. We did." I replied. Sighs of relief were heard around the room.

I huffed and plopped down on the kitchen chair. "You miss him already." Ellie said, leaning into Sam. Sam smiled down at her and kissed her cheek. "Stop teasing, baby." He said. "But it's just so damn cute! Look at her!" Ellie exclaimed. I could tell how happy she was for me.

"I miss you already." I heard Alex through the link. I looked down and smiled to myself. "And I know you miss me. I can feel it." He gloated. "You sure are full of yourself aren't you?" I asked jokingly. "Me? Never." He replied causing me to laugh.

I heard my dad sigh. "Flirting already I see." He commented. "Oh please. Daddy, you and mom do it all the time." I said sticking my tongue out at him causing him to smile and shake his head. I know that caused him to think of mom.

"You look so happy, sweetheart. I'm so glad." Mom told me making me smile at her. "I am happy. Very." I could still hear Alex whispering in my head, telling me the erotic things he would to do me if I was with him.

"Come on, we'll be late to class." Ellie said pulling me up. I groaned loudly, just wanting to be with my mate.

When Ellie and I walked through the doors of the school, everyone stopped to look at us. "What the hell?" I asked Ellie. A random girl in one of my classes, walked up to me. "Are you really the alpha's mate?" She asked. "Where did you hear that?" I asked. "Emily has been telling everyone that you stole Alex from her." She replied causing Ellie to laugh. "She's lost her mind. Look.. Emily is a delusional whore okay? Alex was never hers. He's always disliked her. And yes, it is true that Sadie is the alpha's mate and your future luna so show her some respect." She told the girl. Ellie, being the beta's mate had authority over the pack, except for Alex and I. "Who's the bad bitch now?" I asked as I laughed.

When lunch came around, I saw that Jude was flirting with Lex, making her very uncomfortable which my wolf very much disliked. My eyes began to flow as my wolf tried to take over.

I growled loudly and the entire room went silent as I stalked up to him. When I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, I slammed him against the wall.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" I asked, daring him to make a move. "Are you jealous or something?" He asked smugly making me growl louder. "I don't give a damn about you. I found my mate, and just to be clear, if you ever make my friend feel threatened or uncomfortable again, I will end you." I said as my fury got the better of me.

When I let him go, he stared at me, shocked. When I looked around, I saw everyone stare at me. I looked down and squeezed my eyes shut, trying to calm my wolf.

I felt Lex place her hand on my shoulder, cautiously. "You okay?" She asked. I took a deep breath before nodding.

"Are you okay baby?" Alex asked me through out link. "Yeah. Just had to take care of a pest problem." I replied. "I could feel your anger, sweetheart." He told me. I smiled softly at how much he cared. "I'll tell you about later." I replied before engaging my friends again.
