No no no! Not Lawrence.. Not him..

They want me. They want me to be dead on the ground, lifeless and unwanted. I'd be okay with it if it meant sacrificing myself for the sake of others. I'd be okay with dying, knowing I saved a soul.

But I'm a bait and Lawrence is ought to rescue me. I wish the rogues didn't leave any clues for him. I wish they didn't let Lawrence know where I am or else.. They will kill him.

But, they could have done it in the first place.. Why now? Why now when I needed to escape and flee from this treacherous vicinity or prison? What did Lawrence do to them that made them feel resentful?

Or worse.. bear a grudge?

I've known the background of Lawrence. He didn't do anything that angered the rogues. Except the fact that he had to protect the pack from them..

Well, all seems ordinary.. It's simple.

The Silvers's pack is the strongest in the country. It's normal for the rogues to engage an attack against the alpha-- Lawrence. I need to put a stop to this. I need to save Lawrence from them.

I can't fight.. I got weak due of earlier.. The amount of Wolfs bane inserted in my body wasn't even penetrable. I'm glad it is not the same Wolfs bane that endangered Leo's life. The Wolfs bane that was inserted into my bloodstream is not that strong. I'm glad they aren't that devious enough.

"I can't let them get Lawrence. The pack needs him and also.. I love him so I'll do what it takes to protect him even if it costs me my life." I answered Marie and she just nods slowly.

"But Luna, if the alpha does come.. Which I believe he will.. What will you do by then?" Neil painfully asks me and I just shush him cos talking makes him feel pained a bit more.

"Neil.. I hate to ask you a favor.. But you have to atleast stop him while I sort this problem out with the alpha of the rogues.."

"I can't.. The alpha will just shove me.. If its his mate, he will do anything.."

"He is also my mate.. And I'd do everything.." I replied and turned around, facing away from him. "You two should escape. If ever you guys didn't find Lawrence, I'll make sure.. That I will stop him from getting killed because of me." Once I told them that, I completely strut away from them.

"LET ME GO!" Struggling to break free from the grasps of the rogues, I bit one rogue on the arm and he hastily pushes me on the ground.

"We didn't think about doing tortures to you, Luna, but you left us with no choice."

Why did I even bump into these guys earlier?!

"And where are the other two? Oh, if I get my hands on that omega, I'll kill her." I can see the malice on the other rogue's eyes.

"No!" I growl at them, "take me to your alpha instead!"

"We can't do that, Luna. We have no right or permission to heed that."

"At least talk to him that I want to speak with him! Don't kill Lawrence! I know he has killed some rogues to protect his land but please!"

"He has done far more damage than that." The other rogue speaks up, "his late grandfather killed the father of our alpha! He was the one who made these all happen! For the rogues to join forces!"

Tears. Freaking tears. Even so, they should not do this!

"If you kill Lawrence, you will just enrage his pack that is strong! Some of you will get killed!"

"We do have a witch on our side if that happens."

"Then why did you guys do it now?!"

It's true. They should have killed Lawrence before-- before he met me.

"We want the alpha to be at his weakest. That's how our former alpha got killed."

"You mean..."

"Capturing the mate of the alpha is the most crucial plan and weakening the mentality is where we will strike. We believe that it has commenced."

"NO!' I growl at them again even if my strength is less.

They attempt me to lock inside the cell again but this time, I hear a much bigger and deeper growl not far.
