W-why are we in a lingerie store? And not to mention it's a well-known shop called Victoria's Secret! I am having a hard time contemplating reality right now.

Lena dragged Ema and I into this freaking shop. I mean, I have a clue why Lena wants to buy lingerie here. The products here are very pricey yet very attractive to the eyes of men. Lena is already at the legal age of 18 and above and maybe she wants to impress Valerio... In.. B-bed..

"Isn't this great?" Lena raises a smoking red hot lingerie in front of us, "I bet Valerio is going to drool over me when he sees me wearing this!"

"The appropriate term for that is mate. You know, mating." Lena scoffs, turns around, and continues on looking at the lingerie trailing in front of her.

However my eyes caught something intriguing. I slowly made my way to a rack that has so many variety of very sexy lingerie. I took one out and slowly scanned it. The dominant color is cream with a little bit of white color touch accenting it. I imagined myself wearing it----

"A wolf's heat is really inevitable and strong. You are required to intercourse with your mate to make it go away. I should warn you." Lena laughs a little and then walks away.

Pff, I can surely handle it and Lawrence needs to wait until I reach eighteen in order for him to mate with me.

My eyes went back to the lingerie that caught them.

Upon getting it, I notice a person looking at me outside the window shield of the store. The rack is overlooking the outside of the shop so you can clearly see people passing by. Unfortunately, the figure has gone already and I just shrugged and pretended that I didn't see him or her. Oh well, maybe it was just a normal bystander.

I feel Lawrence's arm possessively hugging my waist. The boy who approached me earlier has already fallen to the ground with a huge red across his cheek. I think he just received a punch from Lawrence.

"Lawrence.." I listlessly call out to him while not looking up, "didn't I tell you not to follow me?"

I was just walking around the parking lot when all of a sudden a guy in a helmet while riding a motorcycle points his gun at me.

When he pulled the trigger, I immediately dodge the bullet and hide behind a car.

"CLAIRE!" I hear Lawrence calling out to me and I immediately ran to him and hug him ever so tightly like my life depended on it.

I hear the motorguy driving away but I didn't bother looking. I hear myself sobbing.

"I hear a gunshot! Even though it was like a silencer, still—I heard it!" Ema and Leo approached us

I looked around because I sniffed something.

"What's that smell.."

I can feel Lawrence's body tension rising.

"Wolf's bane." Lawrence utters, "wait right here."

My gaze followed Lawrence as he went to pick up something concrete and solid.

"Guys, look!" Ema points at something from afar. We see a vague appearance of a sheet of paper of some sort.

Ema used her speed and picked it up from afar. It must have dropped when the hitman drove away.

The paper has something written on it. I think it was intentionally dropped.

"What is the meaning of this?!" Lawrence tears the paper into shreds. I just stared in awe as they fall to the ground.

I believe it's the rogues.. Dad was a rogue and it was my very existence that led a complete disaster to his previous rogue pack.

But dad already killed himself just for my sake..

Maybe the rogues were not that stupid. They knew I was still alive but they can't seem to find me.

"Leo.." I call out to Leo and he faces me, "were there some rogues that escaped from the Angelica incident before?"

"Yes, a few but the pack members didn't bother catching them."

"WHAT?!" Lawrence growls loudly, "I told them to catch EVERY SINGLE ROGUE THERE IS!"

Now there are rogues.. That are going to kill me..
